Orchiectomy - 10/10 Easy recovery and helped way more with tucking / wardrobe than I expected. It was nice knowing that even if I somehow lost access to HRT I would be safe from testosterone. In some ways, this was the surgery I wanted more deeply than any of the others. Never felt any doubt or hesitation about it before or after.
BA - 8/10 Being able to display some cleavage / décolletage helped way, way more with passing and being gendered correctly than I anticipated. I love the way they look and feel, and how my body looks in clothes. Recovery wasn’t too bad. I lost feeling in most of one boob, including the nipple, and this still annoys me almost every day even a few years later.
Vulvoplasty - 6/10 Absolutely brutal, brutal long recovery, could not sit in a chair for 6 weeks. Not very happy with how it looks either, and have not been able to have an orgasm since. However, I am pretty ace and haven’t put much effort into trying. This is overall a part of my body I’ve never cared much about. I feel so much more confident using the women’s restroom and locker room though, and love being able to wear swimsuits and anything else I want. This surgery gave me a deep sense of safety. Finally have no dysphoria from looking at my body in a mirror, so absolutely worth it.
FFS - 9/10 This was a truly life-changing surgery, maybe almost equal to HRT in the way it transformed everything. Looking into the mirror and seeing a woman’s face is PRICELESS. Recovery was not as physically debilitating as SRS (although it was still very tough), but for some reason it was really difficult psychologically, especially before all the bandages came off and I could see that it worked. I had a lot of trouble dealing with the fact that I completely lost all feeling on the top of my head. This was a really nasty feeling, like having a styrofoam helmet with fake hair glued to my head. One amazing day, the feeling returned to my head, although not quite fully. For example, if water runs down my head, I can feel it physically moving down my scalp until it gets to the undamaged part, when the feeling gets stronger and I can also sense if it is hot or cold. I also feel that the scar from my lip lift is pretty prominent. Despite all this, I am super grateful that I was able to have FFS.
Laser / Electrolysis - 10/10 I’ve been doing this for over 7 years and am still working on it. Laser was very painful and did nothing. Electrolysis does the trick but is ludicrously slow. After a few years, we were able to get rid of the beard shadow on my upper lip, which made a huge difference. Sometimes while working on the area of the upper lip right under my nose, so many tears would come out that my ears would fill up, or the tears would soak all the way through my hair until they gathered at the back of my head lol. While the process has been grueling, the result is wonderful, and in some ways the fact that it takes so long adds to the sense of value and good investment. Finding an electrologist that I enjoy spending time with makes the whole thing a lot better.

I had facial feminization surgery on September 8. Here’s the timeline:
Top: Me in 2017.
Middle left: A few weeks before FFS.
Middle right: The day after surgery.
Bottom: Me now, just over six weeks later.
I’m a little shy about asking, but… what do you think? I’d love to hear what changes you notice, especially between the pre-FFS photo and now.
And if you’ve had FFS yourself, how did things keep changing for you after this point?

Since I was a teen, I’ve always struggled with acne. Once I started HRT, my skin became more manageable, and I eventually reached a point through good skincare and topical tretinoin where my skin was basically clear. After SRS in 2023, my skin did a complete 180. Tretinoin and my skincare products no longer worked for me and would cause breakouts. I spent the next two years trying everything under the sun, to no avail. That’s when I started doing research and realized that my symptoms seemed more like acne rosacea and not regular acne. I was able to confirm this after seeing a derm and starting rosacea treatment.
Now I’m on multiple prescription topicals as well as an oral antibiotic, and while they all help, my skin is still not completely clear. I’ve been trying to figure out what exactly triggered my rosacea issue and if it was a coincidence or causation. Was I always meant to get it regardless, or did my surgery play a part? I did stop spironolactone after SRS as well, but I’ve had multiple labs, and my hormones/testosterone are fine. Or is it something hormonal that can’t be concluded via labs? Rosacea is considered an inflammatory condition, so I’m wondering if perhaps the removal of my gonads has caused some kind of inflammatory reaction in my body that it’s struggling to control. I hope I don’t sound crazy theorizing all this; I’m just so drained dealing with this condition and trying to find possible answers or clues.

I got referred to Legacy by Kaiser. I believe that's the only option I have through my insurance. I have my referral in and I've been told a consult has a bit of a wait right now, maybe March next year.
I don't know who I'll be working with. Does anyone have any information on that pipeline?

Hi y'all,
so I had my srs about a year ago (penile inversion) and well, they didn't show me how to dilate there because on day 5 when they wanted to show me how, I was way too afraid to do my own dilating just yet and every other day when I asked them to please show me how to dilate they just never came back to show me how.
And now I basically never dilated my canal correctly (it's complicated) and my situation is basically that my canal is completely closed and I have my revision next week (cosmetic stuff)
They said they are gonna look at it then they, and are gonna determine if it's just a "stenosis" or if ive lost most or some of my depth too.
And honestly I am terrified of next week, I feel so incredibly stupid for fucking up my own post op care, and loosing all of my depth would be a horror scenario.
My surgeon only does revisions with a skin graft and if I would want sigmoid colon or ppv (if I need it), then I'd need to find another surgeon, which is another substantial hurdle.
So, what would y'all say? Which method would be the best and why for a case like mine?
And if anyone has had a similar thing happen to them, I'd really appreciate some input regarding what my chances likely are for next week, or rather how it went for you.

👋 hey.
Any advice gals?
I'm hoping to start the process next year. I have a great GP and Psychologist. Not many options in Australia, but if you have any advice or experience, I'd be grateful.
Thanks!

Just got scheduled for a consultation for SRS with Dr. Stranix, and I was hoping to get an invite to the Discord. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

Throughout my two months of absolutely ransacking Reddit for photos of srs results from different surgeons there’s a very popular girl on here that has one of the best results out there that completely sold me on Dr.min Jun y’all know what I’m talking about literally perfect vagina (mundanewinter) I believe but the other results seem to vary and now there’s this sudden change in his technique that’s seeming like walking backwards with his work and it’s put me in a position of uncertainty and sadness i don’t like the gaping look im seeing from time to time im sure you girls can relate to this pain and uncertainty towards my SRS I just don’t know where to go at this point I have Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois. I have a really good plan and I’m finally at the point of my life where with my new job all these things are possible rib remodeling, BBL, breast augmentation and finally the PPT srs I will however wait to get onto the discord for min Jun once I have some sort of consultation
but this is the surgery that WILL tear me apart. If I’m unhappy with my result, I don’t know if I can bear that kind of pain so I’m sad ultimately and I don’t know what to do. Please recommend me some discords to surgeons or info on what’s going on with Dr min Jun it would be a life saver. love you all ! Xoxo

Hey Reddit this is my first post but I was curious if anyone has had Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS) with Dr. Andrew Marano with ECAPS in ny/nj. I can’t find much info on him and he doesn’t have many picture on his website. If anyone would be willing to share their experience it would be much appreciated!

I am 9 days post op of my vaginoplasty, and recover is going pretty much as expected, with some added complications from Long COVID restricting my walking more than I thought.
The thing that I’m most surprised by is how weird it feels to wipe the vaginal area. I mean, it looks like a horror movie, with the swelling being high, and gross to look at but it also feels like it “dives” earlier than it did before. I wasn’t exactly well endowed before, but is there THAT much stuff there before inverting the penis that it almost feels like I’m wiping a ravine? The day after leaving the hospital I kinda had my “Oh God, what have I done” moment.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I made a post yesterday but I'm redoing it with diff photos because the angle and quality of the photos from yesterday's post were frankly dog shit lol
Here are some better photos that give a good overall view of the results
I got the "old" method with Pang on Sept 9th 2026, and I am overwhelmingly thrilled with my aesthetics. I do not plan for any revisions at this point.
Also, orgasm/sexual function was confirmed on day 43 so doing well on that front too.

I've been leaning towards perennial vaginoplasty for the full length and self lubrication, but my surgeon is telling me there's little difference in results (at least when she performs it). Her logic is that you don't need a canal longer than 5.5-6 inches and that her inversion includes lubrication.
What stuck out the most is her saying that if I lose length after inversion, I can do a PPT to fix it which isn't an option if PPT is done first. She only recommends perennial if there isn't enough skin tissue for an inversion.
Can anyone share their own experiences? What she's saying contradicts my research about the pros and cons of the techniques.

I was wondering if anyone had experience with any good surgeons for mtf breast augmentations in Socal, ideally LA or OC. I'm looking for somewhere to probably get subglandular silicone implants, with maybe some fat grafting to make things look natural. I'm also hoping for a bit shorter of a timeframe to get stuff done (surgery mid-December ideally). Thanks!

Hi,
I'm trying to figure out where to go for my SRS (MtF). I know Kanhai (MKV) is the gold standard within NL, but apparently Gender Clinic Bosch & Duin started doing vaginoplasty recently and I heard they're good also. Has anyone had theirs done at Gender Clinic? Thanks!

First several are from today.
The one with nipple covers is like day 2 or 3
Last one is day before surgery.

i applied to starbucks (their benefits wouldve covered ffs) and after over a month of telling me I'm almost surely going to be hired and two interviews that I only got positive feedback from, i got rejected. I'm so fucking devastated. I'm 22 and dont know what to do with myself. I will sell everything I have. I will talk to any therapist I need to get a medical warrant. I will work any job. I will do literally anything. please someone tell me what I can do to make this surgery possible. i don't know where to start and the dysphoria is getting so bad I'm in a really really bad spot rn.

Hey all.
Quick question I cant find an answer to, so I'm asking both for me and to keep the answer for others who will need it.
So recently dilation has become a lot harder. I feel like I lost a little depth. I could go past the 5 on blue, but I cant quite get there on green now, and definitely not orange (more on that in a second). And on top of that had to backtrack a little bit because I feel like Im having some internal swelling. Both my surgeon (Stiller) and my gender care person(who's also been the one doing doing the silver nitrate treatments tell me this is normal. Healing is nonlinear and all that)
I used to be able to do the orange fine, albeit with a green warm up (Ive never tried to do just the orange) But in the last week... if I do manage to pull it off, I can feel the stretch hard, and literally cant focus on anything else. Which Im also told is normal, even if Im a little behind schedule (just over 3 months post op)
Ive also received a few silver nitrate treatments and for a while was able to not wear pads even as there was no secretions. Lately though, Ive had two kinds. A clear "I legit thought this was sweat at first" but when I went back to wearing a pad by the end of the work day its a yellowish color. And for a little while after dilating, a red tint to it.
So to my main questions.
1) Ive talked to both, they tell me its nothing to worry about this is part of the process. But my wonder is, is this a sign that I should stop and do just the green for a while? Like the swelling is not getting better really, and Im worried that my trying to force it with orange is actually making it worse.
2) anyone else got comments about the red secretions? I dont want to call it discharge because it stops pretty quick. And there is never any on the dilators after I take them out. And honestly that part weirds me out the most.

Been having some light bleeding from my upper labia minora/clitoris region? Not sure what it is I’m looking at everything is still swollen 8 days post op
Today I went to use the restroom after dilating and said area began bleeding considerably into the toilet
I went to bed and applied a pad for an hour till it stopped, but then I slowly got up and noticeable bleeding returned.
I’m now lying in bed, with another pad. I am worried, what am I gonna do? How is it going to clot if I have to keep getting up to use the bathroom/get food? I already messaged my doctor explaining the situation, waiting for a reply

I wanted to know if transgender women living in the US can still have gender reassignment surgery covered by their health insurance. I'm very afraid of losing the right to have it done here in Brazil. If Flávio Bolsonaro wins

Both surgeries done at Yonsei Baro Chuk Hospital.
I had waist narrowing on Monday - bottom 4 ribs
I had shoulders on Tuesday - 2.5 cm either side.
Really happy with the results so far. Tops instantly look more feminine on me and drape how I've always wanted them to. Waist change is subtle but definitely made my silhouette more fem. I do have to wear a corset now for 3 months so maybe there'll be further improvements, but even if not I'm very happy.
Although I wouldn't really recommend getting both surgeries done together, it's very difficult physically. Or have someone with you to help if possible.
Bonus, as a result of both surgeries my boobs look bigger!

Hey all, just wondering if anyone had this. I had breast augmentation yesterday and it all went fine. I’ve been wearing the recovery bra since and will leave it on until i see the surgeon next week. My one concern is that these bras are not custom fit and it’s quite tight- the underwriting below the breasts is digging into me a little. This would be where the incisions are.. is this something i should worry about? Like my scars not healing properly because of the the bra pressure?

I'm getting SRS and breast augmentation on Monday and I paid for it all today
I can't believe it's finley here
