Discussion Entitled dog owners who bring their dogs everywhere, including grocery stores, need to stop.

Dogs do not belong in grocery stores. Leave them at home. These people could have stayed outside while one of them shopped but instead they let their dog walk thru the store with his face in the food.

Friendly Guy Looking for His Furever Home

Post image

Hello NYC -- the rescuer that rescued my cat off the streets is trying to place this sweetie, Jimmy, into his forever home and I'm helping her out for extra reach.

Jimmy is approximately 3 years old, medium-sized, neutered, a litter box master, and a sweet boy with a lot of playful energy (he loves his toys and birdwatching). Due to his friendly temperament, he can be placed in a household as a single cat or with other cats; HOWEVER, he does get a little skittish with new people and surroundings and will require a little time and patience to get warmed up. We can start with “love at first sight” for you, prospective pawrent and then work patiently from there.

Check out Jimmy's page for more of his story -- https://catcafebk.com/cat/jimmy-21598313/

Anyone interested in adopting Jimmy must go through an application process via Cat Cafe BK. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=az1377&method=online_form_html&formid=2

Thanks so much for reading! 🤍

Lost URGENT: Please help me recover my lost green suitcase in Harlem 🙏🏾

Post image

About a week ago, I lost my green Jeep suitcase at the 135th Street subway station in Harlem while waiting for the downtown 2 train. I have really sentimental personal items in there that are devastating to lose.

I've already filed a report with the MTA, but I'm reaching out to the community in case someone found the suitcase, picked it up for safekeeping, or knows where it might be.

It's a green, Jeep-branded rolling suitcase. If you've seen it or have any information that could help me recover it, please DM me as soon as possible. I'm happy to verify that it's mine.

Please share this post with anyone who might be able to help. Even a small lead could make a huge difference right now. I'd be extremely grateful to get my personal belongings back.

Power, gain and betrayal alleged as disgraced Adams' aide Eric Ulrich's corruption trial begins

In the company of cash-hungry cronies and the grips of a grinding gambling habit, the tenure of former Mayor Eric Adams’ Buildings chief Eric Ulrich was marked by “public power, private gain, and the betrayal of the city’s trust,” a prosecutor charged Monday as Ulrich’s bribery trial got underway in Manhattan.

Assistant District Attorney Guy Tardanico said that as a Republican city councilman, senior adviser to Adams, and ultimately, head of the city Department of Buildings, Ulrich, 41, gave his friends easy access to the highest levels of government, “including the mayor.”

“They say politics is the art of the possible, but, for these defendants, public office was nothing more than an office for personal gain,” Tardanico said in his opening statement.

Remember this when you're driving around attempting to find a spot.

City really needs to start cracking down on cones, fake placards and rest that goes on in Manhattan.

Don't know about elsewhere but on UES every other building now has cones out blocking off spaces. That or people are putting up cones, trash canes or whatever in front of their private homes to reserve parking.
