A knife my girlfriend's mom recently gave me...I think from my girlfriend's grandfather (will ask more in the morning). It has an assisted opening, a safety switch, and what appear to be painted metal handles.

I don’t even know where to begin but for those who can identify them enjoy.
I finally got to try a bunch of different ones and wow I can feel quality.
So I hope these photos came out right. Basically a shadow salt. Sage 5 with applied weapons technologies Shadow Chrome scales. Came out pretty damn good if I do say so myself. I especially thought the reflective DLC blade on the sage 5 salt went well with the scales.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs and Anthony DiNozzo share steaks in "Flesh and Blood" (Season 7, Episode 21 of NCIS), where Gibbs cooks steak over an open fire in his fireplace. • The Setting: Gibbs cooks the meal in his house using his living room fireplace instead of a standard stove. • The Tools: They cut their steaks using Zero Tolerance model 0350 pocket knives—Gibbs uses a tiger-stripe version and DiNozzo uses the standard model.
Heavy girl for sure!

This is not my first CRk but it’s the first one I’ve purchased new from a retailer. It also has the sharpest factory edge out of any of the CRKs I’ve owned. Most of my knives are bigger so I wanted to get something smaller. Love the red linen micarta!

My grandfather passed recently and this was in a box of stuff, looking for info on this knife if anyone knows. He was in the Vietnam war, so its possible it came from overseas.
Edit: thank you all, it was always going to be a keepsake!

I love the Vosteed Porcupine Ti Slim. It's such a slicey beast and combined with S90V it is just such an awesome package. Really wish the pocket clip was fully deep carry though...

Always love when my Mimi comes across more of my Papaw’s old belongings. This time she found one of his old Barlow knives. I was very glad to receive this beauty. I plan to clean it up as best as possible and display it with other belongings of his. Also does anyone have any information on this particular model and or roughly the date on it? When opened it’s roughly 8 1/2 inches and when closed it’s close to 5 inches.

Continuing the Daily Carry Journal, I brought out an old favorite, the CRK Large Sebenza 31 today. What are you guys carrying?

Three years ago when I first started getting into this hobby, I remember saying to myself “the day that I buy a brand new crk is the day I’ve made it”
Have I “made it”? Nowhere close. Am I dumber with my money? Yes. Do I constantly have a sore thumb and a fat grin? 100%

Thought I would switch gears a bit. I present my Dreamtech D9402B
Bead blasted.
Warncliff blade.
Titanium handle.
M390 Blade.
I love the design and weight of this one. Not the smoothest action, but certainly better than most. Pictures don’t really show the inlays well but they look good in my opinion.
