Seal of approval Review Request Thread
We received a really great idea from u/heavymetalsculpture for a new sticky thread- Review Requests. We have a very large userbase here who have all tried LOADS of knives, so why not crowdsource reviews and feedback for a knife you might be interested in buying! A lot of youtubers / instagram pages, while attempting to be unbiased, often have some bias because they're getting samples for free etc. People on here are very unlikely to have that bias and are more likely to provide honest feedback on a knife.
This thread will remain stickied and fairly moderated- top level comments will only be permitted to be requests for reviews and feedback for certain knives, and users who have actually owned / handled the knife are greatly encourage to provide absolutely honest feedback on the knife in question.
Please only post here with requests for reviews, or to provide feedback on top level comments with a review of the knife in question!

Spyderco SOTR
Very happy, but now I'm not sure what's next... Am I done? Do I get a different model? Debating between bodacious, sage, manic shaman ( need to handle them to decide but love to hear opinions)

Thought I'd share a couple favorites on opposite ends of the spectrum....
Bumming around, cleaning and organizing a few things and thought I'd share a couple of my favorite knives.... A budget and a not so budget....
The p801 has no business being as good as it is for the price. I know it's a bit hefty, but it feels so solid.
The native 5 is probably my favorite folding knife ever... Just a no nonsense tool.
What are your favorite budget and not so budget blades?

I keep thinking about the most hideous and unncessary knife I've ever seen.

Halloween Shadow pattern slipjoint in O1
Hello all,
Something a little different for Halloween. Shadow pattern In Orange G10 with an image laser engraved into the handle. The engraving was filled with black epoxy and made smooth with the handle. The hardware is all nickel silver.
This is a new project I've been working on. I made a similar shadow pattern for myself early this spring and have been carrying it every since and I've really enjoyed it. Its a nice light and slim carry. let me know what you think.
The pull on this is medium/light. The blade sets nice and can be pinched open, (my wife had no problem opening it with long nails), half stop, spring lays flat in all 3 positions and the tip is well centered.
Blade hand sanded to 600 grit finish.
OAL: 6.125"
Closed 3.45"
Cutting Edge: 2.34"
Thanks for looking. As always questions, comments and critiques welcome.
