I’m curious what people think of my chart this cycle. We are super hopeful for BFP but so far all tests are negative. I thought when my temp dipped I was out but now temp is back up. Am I just testing to early? I feel like I’m going crazy in this TWW.

Question/Advice AMH 5,74 TOO HIGH?

Danke! ❤️

TWW Cervix height after ovulation

Hello! Does anyone have any idea if the cervix will stay high or low after ovulation? My temperature seem to not increase. I think I’m out this cycle AGAIN!

At my previous pregnancy, my cervix stayed high and lotsa discharge throughout after pregnancy.

Random Are people really getting positives at 8 and 9 DPO?

I feel like I see so much line p*rn of 8 and 9 DPO tests. And yes, I know the countdown to pregnancy stats.

I didn't get a positive with my chemical until 12 DPO, and I was testing frequently. But then again, I don't know if that was due to the low hcg levels or the fact that 12 DPO was the first time I tested with a FRER, and the rest of the time I had tested with easy@home (higher hcg threshold).

I guess the math just doesn't math, imo. If 8 or 9 DPO is the most common day of implantation and it takes some time for hcg to build up and show up in urine, then what gives? But I have also read theories that modern pregnancy tests are so sensitive they can pick up a pregnancy the day of implantation.

My theories are:

1) It's a case of miscalculated ovulation date. I am sure there are plenty of folks just using an app like Flo and are not tracking with OPKs or BBT. Similar to how I occasionally see a "6 DPO" positive, which is physically impossible, or at least so unlikely as to be negligible.

2) I think the statistic is something like 15% will get positives at 8 DPO, and 40% at 9... so, if you consider the fact that millions of people get pregnant every year in America alone, that is still a crap ton of people, lol.

3) Confirmation bias. People with negative tests on these days probably aren't posting them.

Idk. I'd love to hear from people who were tracking with BBT/OPKs and got an honest to God 8 or 9 DPO positive, or what people think.

I know for myself, I do get discouraged if my test is negative at 9 DPO, so I try to wait to test. I also hate squinting and am super nearsighted with an astigmatism, so I can barely see cheapies as it is, lol.

BFN Currently CD 26

So I'm new to this - and yes I understand stop testing after peak - we are TTC but I am trying to learn more about my cycle.

I have regular cycles (26-28 days) but only 4 days typically and my last period was Sept 28-Oct 1 - I got a high fertility positive Oct 8-9th and peak ovulation positive Oct 10-11th on clearblue digital which matches with 13-14 days into the cycle.

Well period is due Oct 25th and yesterday I had a definitely positive LH strip (CD 25) but today it's negative.

I've read it's possible that the LH wasn't high enough to ovulate the 1st time and might send a second attempt if it was unsuccessful so I guess I'll see what happens Lol

I am currently 12 DPO and my digital and stick tests are negative so I think we are out this cycle attempt but forward we go! 🌌

Trigger Warning BFP 8DPO success story - LH test theory Spoiler

I’m 36 years old - second time trying. Wasn’t going to test yet but decided to and wanted to share the details because I found it helpful for me!

Yesterday I went down a TikTok rabbit hole and saw that LH / ovulation tests can predict an early pregnancy and I thought I would try it out because I have so many of those (and didn’t want to waste the expensive pregnancy test). I used the clearblue digital ovulation and pulled the stick out after because I remember what the line looked like when I tested positive for ovulation. 7DPO the ovulation test showed not fertile but there was a strong line, then this morning 8DPO the ovulation test line was stronger and the actual test showed high fertility…

So I thought I’d try a first response early test and wasn’t expecting what I saw! So then I took a clearblue digital which confirmed BFP. Praying it sticks and all is well, I’m going to keep testing over the next few days for stronger lines. Here’s the details of my TTC experience and my natural cycles charts in case it helps someone!!

TTC details
This was the second time trying. My cycle is usually 26-28 days. I usually ovulate CD14-15 but on CD10 I decided to take the clearblue ovulation test (I didn’t have any mucus) and I was at peak fertility so we had sex CD10, 11, 12 and my natural cycles confirmed ovulation on CD13. One thing to note, I bought a fertility/sperm safe lube to use which used day 11-12. I also laid in bed for 5 min after just in case (I previously would rush off to go to the bathroom).

symptoms
Nothing majority noticeable - I just had what felt like diarrhea cramps on early hours and afternoon of 6DPO, no diarrhea followed. Also, this week (from 5-8DPO) I noticed my oura ring readiness and sleep scores were also oddly low for me despite getting 7-8.5hrs of sleep. I always have scores 88-96 and this week I was getting 78-80 for both readiness and sleep but nothing had changed and I wasn’t drinking alcohol (which usually impacts my scores).

This time around I was more relaxed about the process and just made notes of anything I noticed, rather than chatgbting every little thing like I did last month which I think really helped. I wasn’t planning to test until 10DPO but the LH thing threw me so I figured I’d try 😅❤️ feeling grateful and sending everyone lots of good energy! Happy to answer any questions!

Question/Advice Ovulation test + hcg test 8DPO

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Hello! Needing advice.

I ovulated late this cycle, on CD 20/21 and am currently 8 DPO. We BD for a week leading up to my ovulation. I tested this morning with a cheap HCG strip and FRER just for funsies and got a BFN. Which is fine. But for some reason, my LH strips are dark yesterday and today. I’m still tracking LH just to have data for my next cycle.

Has anyone had this before? I think I confirmed ovulation through my bbt and am still tracking that as well. It’s still above my pre-ovulation bbt too. Premom is all over the place.

Question/Advice Starting Month 11 TTC - HyCoSy?

My husband and I both 28 have been trying to conceive for about 10 cycles. I have a negative test and I’m just waiting for my period to come. My cycles are regular.

I’ve had a progesterone 7 DPO test and transvaginal ultrasound. Both had blood teststo check overall levels. My husband has had a sperm analysis which mostly came back fine just the viscosity was a little bit higher for which it is. I suspect this was due to lower abstinence period. It has been repeated and we’re waiting for results. He doesn’t smoke or drink and has a healthy lifestyle. I’m expecting it to be normal.

I’m just wondering if it’s worth at this point to get a HyCoSy test or wait a little longer. I live in the UK and it would mean that I’d have to go private at this stage because the GP referral would take a while.

Any advice from anyone who has gone through something similar or similar timeline would be super helpful. There’s not a lot of success stories out there around 10-18 month mark. Usually people take a short time ie less than 6 months or significantly longer + with medical help.

Anyone had any success from having it done at this point?

Thanks

Question/Advice Low Motility & Sperm Analysis

Hi all. My husband (30M) just received his sperm analysis results and his total motile count was 17 million. The normal is above 40 million. His motility also came back low as only 23% of the sperm were swimming. Volume and concentration came back normal.

He is highly addicted to nicotine for the past decade. I got him off chewing tobacco last year, but he's really bad with the Zyns + Velos. I'm talking like 15-30 pouches in his mouth daily.

I'm a 25F. We've been trying for 8 months. I've been asking and asking and asking him to quit and he would definitely lower usage but I would notice eventually he'd continue as normal. I'm hoping these results will be enough for him to make lifestyle changes. It has been frustrating as I've really tried my best to live a healthy and active life, and I care the mental burden of the tracking of cycles & ovulation and everything else that comes with TWW and negative tests. I've also been at many appointments for blood work as I thought I might've been the factor here, but everything on my end has come back normal thus far. I am giving him grace and am confident this was enough to scare him into quitting nicotine, and I know sperm regenerates every three months so it's not a death sentence to getting pregnant.

Has anyone had similar results but still successful in conceiving naturally? Do you think him quitting nicotine for good and lowering sugar intake will be enough to improve the motility in his analysis? Besides that bad habit, he is a healthy and active man, at a healthy weight and eats well as I'm a nutritionist and the chef of the household lol.

Looking for tips, success stories, & any hope you can offer up! Thanks in advance for reading & responding!
