Monthly Creep DM Megathread Spoiler

Always our official advice:

  1. Don't respond.
  2. Contact emergency services if you feel unsafe.
  3. Report to Reddit admins.
  4. Take a screenshot & DM it to us (so we can ban them from BBP).
  5. Block the user yourself.

We know that some folks do want to share and talk about these messages, however, and we don't want to take away that choice, so this thread exists for those users.

We no longer allow posts about creepy PMs. This thread is where they will be contained.

need advice Getting a breast reduction in a few weeks Spoiler

I have had huge boobs for the vast majority of my life and have always been insecure about them. I am finally having a reduction covered by insurance next month and frankly I’m terrified. I’ve been having anxiety about dying on the table or having crazy complications and I can’t get the thoughts out of my head. Has anyone who has had this surgery have any advice or experiences of their own?

positive & funny What is the weirdest thing you've found in your bra after a long day? Spoiler

• Upvotes

I just got back from working an 18 hour shift in a crawlspace, drilling through beams and running pipe and electrical. I just got home and took my clothes off to find ALOT of sawdust, a couple wire connectors, 2 screws, and the earplug i had on earlier before i lost it.

Some of it made me giggle. Theyre usually catching crumbs.

what is the most bizarre, or random stowaway you've ever had to unpack at the end of a long day?

need advice Has anyone had breast tissue replaced with implants? Spoiler

I'm hoping to go from an H cup to a DD. I've had back and neck, and shoulder pain for close to 25 years, but now it's become clear that I have fibromyalgia, not just heavy boob syndrome (LOL but not really)

My breast tissue is fibrous, dense and heavy. It's been problematic during routine mammograms. I had to have an ultrasound a few years ago and one breast took an hour and a half 😫

Anyway, I'd like to have all of my breast tissue removed when I get a reduction and have it replaced with implants.

I know Angelina Jolie had something like this done after she learned about her genetic predisposition to breast cancer, But has anyone else had this done?

Are breast implants lighter than dense breast tissue?

Is a 36DD small enough to alleviate my neck and shoulder pain?

need advice My Slightly Dramatic, Ongoing Bra Quest/Entertaining Plead for Help + TLDR Spoiler

After 18 months of slowly losing my wardrobe to unprecedented weight changes, it finally leveled out enough to reasonably buy clothes that... ✨fit✨

Apparently, my love of getting dolled up is weaker than my thriftiness. Weaker still stands cowers my resolve to so drastically alter clothes... or perhaps my fabric hoarding trumps it all🐉

Near the end, the phrase "sports bra" was always well seasoned with curses and support seemed a mythical idea so, naturally, a bra was #1 on my list.

While my actual breasts hardly changed in size, my band dropped shooting me into completely unfamiliar size territory with a lack of cushion in places I've never been without as an adult.

44DDD --> 36F/G

That cushion apparently doubled as bra-armor as its absence led me to a painful & embarrassing discovery: I've made it to Senate-candidacy-age wearing bras inches below my underbust. My underappreciated natural cushioning let my bra sit on my now assailable ribs and gave my skin a plumping buff against underwire's skin groove attack.

Just tighten the straps. Right? No. This is a quest; sit down.

My breasts, or at least the base of my breasts, apparently sit abnormally high on my chest which puts the wire of an otherwise perfect fitting bra below near directly into my armpit.

Less imminently, the industrial grade backing goes so high on my back I can just barely wear a wifebeater tank without the ratchet straps showing. (how does no other name portray this tank?)

Oh, you should just — Hush. Sit. Were you going to say clasp adjustment? Pro measurement? Different brands & models? Tried, tested, failed. It's placement. My weird tiddies require less band between narrower cups.

But I don't cry for pity, for I have hope. I have found one bra that spares my pits.. though its straps do ratchet. AND... its... FRONT CLASP! 🫨😲😮However, it is quite literally only one as it seems to be a lemon, especially fated for my chest. I've ordered the same bra model in other padding levels; stab. Other colors; stab. The exact same, literal identical bra; stab.

My humble ask... What Do I Do?? I cant bring myself to pay $300+ for a custom bra when my weight could rollercoaster. No bra professional has known what to suggest; they usually explain underbust measurements at the mention of armpit stabs then are sympathetically stumped after hearing the rest.
I'm tempted to buy a bra and bend the wires into more of a U but I feel like I'd end up with an ill-crafted 50's bullet bra and a bill.
Any high placed boulder-owners care to share? Where else should I post?

TLDR: I've been wearing bras wrong for 20-odd years and now I'm at an even more uncommon bra size with tits positioned so high on my chest the wire stabs the crook of my armpit with basically every bra. My weird tiddies require less band between narrower cups. Suggestions?

A moment of silence for the unrealized cleavage lost over the decades to sagging bra bands😔

need advice Cheap bras Spoiler

Post image
6 Upvotes

The new bra I bought vs one of the old bras I was wearing.

Looking through this sub I've found I'm lucky as bras are comparatively cheaper in the UK. But unfortunately still too expensive for me. I recently went to a lingerie store and got panache faith in 28GG. I found out that bras with really low gores fit me really well. The problem was it was £39.

I need more bras in that size as when I put it on my back pain was gone. I'm currently wearing two 6 year old bras (long story 😭) that both look worse than they sound. They both look equally as bad, aren't even my actual size and started off as white. They are both lined even though they don't look it anymore 😭. Anyways I was going to look second hand but I'm struggling to find a lined bra with low gore in that size. I'm just not a fan of unlined bras. I'm looking second hand cus I'm looking for bras that are less than £15 each but maybe I'm asking for too much. Any advice is welcome

RANT - advice welcome Everyone is cute at the gym, while I'm in a sack. Spoiler

Right. So I'm a newbie at the gym (like, 3 months in) and I've ran into a problem i was expecting to have, I just didn't realise it would hit on the self esteem.

When I go there, I usually wear leggings and some old, ratty oversized t-shirt, while almost every woman around my age is in cute little workout sets.

Why? No workout top can fit my chest. Hell, I can't find a sports bra that is supportive at all, so I usually work out with my normal minimiser bras. Even when tops do techically fit, they look way too vulgar for an activity that requires me to lift weights, and don't even get me started on the treadmill.

Sure, I know I can techically find something for myself, but I'm a broke uni student, and while they get the cutest shit for 20 bucks, I'm looking at 50€ at the low end -_-

So, i wear my oversized t-shirts and they make me look like a tent who's never stepped foot into a gym. And I know that right now there isn't much i can show off, but I feel like if I were able to have a clear view of my shoulders and back, I will be more motivated to workout!

Ugh, it's just so annoying 🙃 so, any gym girlies here with a similar experience? Advice? Dunno if amazon links will do anything because shipping to my country usually costs more than the item itself, sigh.

Edit: Just looked it up, and apparently Amazon doesn't even reallt ship to my country, fml

RANT - advice welcome I need people to stop asking Spoiler

I was hanging out at a friend's house and ofc the topic of bra sizes came up. I didn't want to weigh in tbh because I'm self conscious about it (and most of my friends know that already) but sure enough one of them asked me (IN FRONT OF EVERYONE) the question. WTF. I'm clearly waiting for this conversation to be over, read the room. I panic though and say it and that's all they want to talk about for what felt like forever. Why do friends think it's ok to ask me my bra size? Sure, I guess some girls are proud of their size but it's just genetics. I wanted to just hang out without eyes on me for the wrong reason and I can't even have that with my friends. Being a girl doesn't give you a free pass to ask things like that.

So yeah. This isn't even the first time somebody asked me this week. That's what I get for trying to socialize more I guess.

need advice Well fitting bras Spoiler

i recently got new bras which have been much better than my old one which did not support at all. They are three different styles and for somereason three different sizes?
I wear a 10HH / 10GG / 8H in AU/UK sizing (which is roughly a 32L / 32J / 30K in US sizing)
is that normal? i got professionally fitted so i’m guessing it’s okay just kinda seems weird having three different sizes. anyway because they support so much better it’s been a lot tighter on the underwire and has been leaving red marks. i was wondering if that’s normal and is just proof that it’s supporting more or is it wrong fit? it was like $300 for all of them so i hope they are good for me 🥲

bras Feel like I need to wear a padded bra for nipples?

Every unlined or unpadded bra, my nipples just stick straight out. For comfort and modesty reasons, I feel like I need padding. Yet at my size (34I/J), most properly fitting bras are unlined. Any advice on a happy medium that fits the breast but doesn't let the nipple stand out?

need advice What brand bras to buy?? Spoiler

I’m trying to branch out and find better brands of bras to buy. I’m a 36C but my breasts sag and Victoria’s Secret bras are always too tight for me because I have a wide back. I also struggle with boob sweat and getting rashes under/between my breasts because of them sagging or the sweat getting trapped in the folds. I’m a huge skeptic when it comes to shopping online now cause of AI generated models used for new companies and don’t know what brand to trust 🥴 please let me know some recommendations

RANT - advice welcome Does anyone else here have boob blindness? Spoiler

TW for body image issues

I feel like I have a really distorted sense of how big my boobs are. Does anyone else here feel this way? Like I know they’re objectively larger than normal (32I US/32G UK) but I just don’t really see it. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m just so used to the way they look, body image issues from struggling with my self image for so long, or the fact that one of my best friends has much bigger boobs than I do but I feel like I don’t see myself the way that other people see me.

I’m occasionally reminded of the reality when I go up or down stairs too fast without a bra and the upward swing tries to take me out with a force rivaled only by that of prime Mike Tyson but it’s a weird sensation feeling like my boobs are small for my body at 5’6 147lbs (66.7kg 168cm) when I know they’re very much not.

Also before I get a bunch of those Reddit check in alerts about how people are worried about me I swear I’m okay lol. I’m just in the process of trying to lose weight again and it always triggers my insecurities a bit.

need advice Finding the perfect bra

I have searched high and low to find a perfect everyday bra that is comfortable and still fits. I've never like underwrite because I have rolls under my b***s that they dig into. I have been told my size is a 44D, but my back/chest is bigger than my actual b***s. I will get a bigger band but then my b***s dont fit/ falling off my shoulders. Then I go smaller and my b***s are too big. I can't seem to find the perfect fit. I have seen a lot of videos on tik too of girls for sports bras but no one seems to have the same problem I do. Also my torso is very short and I do have a lot of rolls on my stomach and back. Does anyone have any advice or also struggle with this?

RANT - advice welcome Awkward experience 😩 Spoiler

i was being intimate with my bf and this time felt like I shouldn’t remove my bra. Like I felt the need to keep it on. As a person with macromastia i sometimes feel uncomfortable and being judged for my size. He claimed he wasn’t bothered but I felt weird and feel the need to have a bra on.

has anyone ever felt this way? I haven’t submitted on here in awhile as I thought I was more mentally stable but I guess I had to come back eventually.

bras Need help Spoiler

Hello all, I’m sure this post has been made several times but u am at a loss. I am currently trying to lose weight in hopes that it also makes my boobs smaller. Since that is a solution that takes quite a bit of time I need help in the meantime. I used to work at a bra store so I’m familiar with the terms and what helps. I use minimizer bras but I still feel like those just accentuate the size of my chest. I need anyone to give me tips or recommendations even if it is out of the box solutions. I like how I feel in sports bras since they strap me down and make me feel secure but they also give the most unflattering uniboob. I just wanna be able to wear a tshirt and feel somewhat flat without needing to use a binder or smash my chest. Any holy grail bra recommendations would be greatly appreciated

need advice Soreness Spoiler

Okay I just know I'm going to get some creepy DMs for this one but idk if this is normal or not

So I am 4'10", I have a very small frame. I'm a 32KK (UK), and yes I know this is a common miss size but in my case it is correct. I'm not sure if this context matters but I thought to include it.

So after intimacy is it normal for my chest to be so freaking sore? I bruise easy yes, but from the motion & sometimes grabbing I am getting bruises and soreness. Is this normal, or do I need a doctor?

RANT - no advice wanted Feeling weighed down and kinda pissed too Spoiler

I generally lurk, and rarely post, so please forgive any reddit etiquette mistakes. I just feel so mad and dejected today and wanted to vent it to folks who may understand some of the challenges.

I live in Northern Europe, and we have both public and private health care. I managed to get a referral to the public side to be considered for a Breast Reduction (I'm currently around 75M or 80L on a 161cm frame). Today I got a rejection letter saying "It has been assessed that your illness doesn't require specialized medical care"

Why, you may ask? What criteria do I not fulfill?

Glad you ask, because the only criteria I don't currently meet is that my BMI is "too high" they require it to be 28 or lower. I'm at 32.

Aside from the fact that BMI is absolute bunk, my boobs are over 4.4% of my total body weight.

I've been literally working my ass off to get closer to that BMI, (over 14kg since March)

Even if I had qualified, there is a waiting line for the public side, so if I manage to get to the ridiculous requirement I'm still looking at over a year before I can have the procedure.

Private side is, of course, an option, but funding is low and saving up has been challenging.

The idea of waiting over a year or more is making me feel hopeless. Work is becoming challenging, as is being active with my 4yr old. I can barely wear a properly fitting bra for 3 hours without pain and nausea kicking in, which makes work days really challenging. The constant discomfort and pain is a major contributing factor to the burnout that is fast closing in (3rd one in 9years).

I'm so tired and it just really set me off to get such a dismissive and cold rejection.

Thanks for letting me scream into the void. I don't really need advice or anything, just needed to let it out a bit.

EDIT: I have double-checked my sizing on r/ABraThatFits calculator and it matches what I currently use, though I've also tried other nearby sizings as well. Still can't go more than a few hours before the pain in my upper back and ribs kick in. ☹️
