need advice I need help with what to do with my boobs in a backless, halterneck dress for sister wedding Spoiler

Basically what the text says. I have F cups and the only dress I could find and afford for my sisters wedding is this pretty backless halter neck number. I love it so much but I have no idea what to do to make my boobs look good. I tried boob tape and I am so bad at it. No one at the wedding will be able to help me with it. What can I do? Are there any stick on options that ACTUALLY work? Do I need specifically wide tape or what? I am so stressed out. Please help me 😭

need advice Help finding clothes

Hey! So I was wondering if there are any other busty girls here and had any links to websites where they’ve gotten their clothing.

For information, i’m at 32F(DDD), but If I could I’d wear a medium, I would. An American medium would fit my torso, all the way up to my boobs where it obviously will not fit.

I’m so sick and tired of seeing these cute tops, grabbing one to try on, and seeing this little triangle sit on top of my boobs. I try on the next size up and the only thing that changed was the waist size, the boob size stayed the exact same! I can barely wear those cute peplum tops girls talk about, or babydoll dresses. I wish I could find lolita-esque dresses in particular! I love looking royal, but I can’t when I have two boulders on my chest! Now, when I do find something that’s going to fit me, something exactly the same for a smaller chested person costs at least HALF the price of what I wanna buy. I understand a little more fabric, but I’ve met SOOO many girls like me. Big chested but not ā€œbigā€. So why aren’t there more clothes for that that don’t make it seem like we want to look bland or blend into a wall!!

If anyone has any links, tips, or just wants to make conversation, please reply!!

Has anyone tried their clothes? They claim to fit big busts well. I’m really tempted, but I’m not sure about their quality and if the fit lives up to their hype.

I LOVE this shirt from aritzia but I wish it would fit me like how it fits the model. If I try on this shirt it will be 10 times shorter and even more of a crop top 😢.

I also just want to wear baggy clothes without looking like a tent. If anyone has any hoodie/ sweater recommendations please let me know, thanks.

need advice Please recommend a store!

• Upvotes

I've been to 4 different stores so far...can anyone please please please recommend a store thats not online and has a 34H demi-cut underwire bra?

The demi cut is somewhere between a full coverage and a balconette. I know I'm being super specific, but this was what was recommended for my shape and size.

RANT - advice welcome 38G and feeling depressed Spoiler

Ok I new to this sub and I need to vent so hopefully this is the correct flair and apologies in advance if i ramble. I started birth control about a year ago ago and my boobs got bigger, no surprise there. I just stopped birth control because I want to try for a baby next year hopefully and I am hoping my boobs get smaller in the meantime. Also have been in the process of losing weight without GLPs. It's been hard yall.

Anyway, I just measured myself again using a bra that fits calculator and I'm now a 38G. I feel like crying because I can't imagine how big my chest will get if I do end up getting pregnant. I want a breast reduction in the future. I'd get it now of I could, but I am scared that I may not be able to breast feed.

I think it's a combination of my hormones stabilizing/ body dysmorphia making me feel depressed, but I don't have anyone to talk about it at this time. Thank you for reading.

I am 5'2 175lbs.

need advice small band big cup - does anyone even like it

I guess I'm just curious if anyone else can relate at all. I feel that as someone with a small band big cup I dont know how to like it and each time I have asked in the past the advice has been "steak too juicy lobster too buttery" (ugh) or get a breast reduction. I am not against reductions at all and am supportive of what other people want to do but I would really love to like my size as it is and I'm struggling with it.

need advice open hoodie falls off Spoiler

Not sure why my hoodie falls off my left shoulder. Is it my bust line that's causing this? It's a pain pulling it back on all day. Zippered hoodie open to the waist; as it is, I'd like full sleeves, not 3/4.

bras what’s the best bra you got? (help a girl out) Spoiler

Hi ladies anyone have this problem? I’ve been noticing in the gym every time I’m doing some kind of cardio my breast seem to bounce a lot and I’ve tried different bras to help it’s embarrassing with my boobs flying all over the place ( and kinda hurts too ) . i’m a triple D and I’ve tried so many bras that have good coverage and I guess that will ā€œhold the breast in placeā€ yet nothing has worked for me. Any recommendations?

bras I hate my bra size Spoiler

I measure to a 32DDD which is technically an 32F. But every bra I try on never fits. The cup is either too big, or the band is too tight. Or the bra feels like it fits but the gore doesnt touch. Its terrible, im 25 and never had a proper fitting bra except sports bra.

need advice Am i infact just a lost cause..

For context im a 36DD but the issue is my boobs are mostly loose sagging skin ive never felt confident about them bc they lay low arent even a full shape and overall just look horrible to me , there's barely any actual fat on them and anytime during intimacy with my partner I choose positions where he can't see my boobs bc im just so ashamed of them they look like two U letters and it's so embarrassing sometimes when I see so many women with nice full breasts even while having bigger ones :( IS there anything I can do besides surgery?? I feel like a lost cause ON top of feeling insecure about their looks i have like 0 sensitivity in them so even though my partner loves them obviously he cant even enjoy them properly as it just feels awkward when he tries and i barely feel anything .. :'[

need advice Shooting advice Spoiler

If anyone on this channel has experience with recreational shooting (rifle/shotgun), I’d love to hear from you.

I recently picked up pistol shooting, and I’m thinking of moving up to longer guns soon. The only thing holding me back at this point is my concern about butt placement when shooting. I have a pretty wide root for my frame, and I’m concerned that this might affect my ability to put the butt in the right place on my shoulder. I don’t want to risk a silly injury like this! If anyone has faced this before and can advice me on how to go about this, I’d really appreciate it!

bras Need recs for sizing down as I've lost weight and my fav bra doesn't come in the smaller band size (34->32) Spoiler

So I have been wearing the Sculptresse Bliss in 34GG but I have lost some weight and the bra is finally feeling far too lose on the band and a bit too snug in the cup to the point where it is actually extremely uncomfortable.

Measurements: loose 35, snug 34, tight 32, standing 45, leaning 51, laying 47

The calculator is now putting me in 32J or JJ. I have very squishy tissue and a high root. The other issue is that I am a swimmer so I have larger traps so my bra straps like to slide off. This bra WAS PERFECT and of course they don't make it in a 32 band because that would be too easy.

I would like suggestions for bras that solve these issues in the 32 band, please and thanks!

* large traps cause straps to slide

* high root

* squishy tissue with a lot of projection

* to throw a curveball at y'all I don't like racerbacks

UPDATE 10/17:

I tried the Panache Serene 32J. Cups are too small. Quadboob and wire is too wide and stabs me in the armpit, despite the fact that the underwire is sitting completely flush, as is the gore. Band felt very comfortable though.

Panache Serene 32JJ. Cups are too big. Even worse armpit stabbing, and also the top of the cups are gaping after scoop and swoop.

Please suggest!!

experience I think I might’ve built a pain tolerance when it comes to be hit on the chest Spoiler

I do colorguard and riffle spinning. Theres moments where I have hit myself many times and it’s even worse with a riffle since it’s heavier usually. of course when I throw the flag/ riffle with too much force ill probably not be able to catch it on time. I’ve gotten a concussion before with it but I’ve also been hit many times on my chest and it HURTS LIKE A BITCH especially if the riffle tip hits it. Over the years, it’s started to hurt less, but I have been bruised there many times to the point someone confused it as a hickey.

I don’t know if this is normal. I can still feel pain sometimes but when it comes to the flag, I don’t feel much but the riffle (which I spin less) still hurts a little more

bras As a former professional bra fitter, I am so exhausted by the fake ā€œinclusivityā€ of big brands (VS, Savage X Fenty, etc.) Spoiler

Thumbnail reddit.com

Hey everyone, I wrote this piece about my issues with Victoria’s Secret, Savage X Fenty and others, they are doing us a big disservice!

I wish I could repost on here so I wouldn’t have to copy the link!! Let me know how everyone else feels!!

FOLLOW UP!!

Here is my quick checklist of 8 pointers I always tell people to check when diagnosing their own bra fit (I've also attached some great anatomy/fit diagrams to the post to help visualize this!):

  1. The middle should lie as flat as possible on the sternum. (Obviously with the bigger sizes complete flatness is not always possible, but it shouldn't float completely).
  2. The band at the back should be straight and inline with the front. It shouldn’t feel like the band at the back is going halfway up your back—that actually makes you hunch over!
  3. If you pull the band at the back and it stretches greatly away from your spine, it’s way too big.
  4. When the band is fitted, it should feel snug and firm NOT TIGHT. This is normal for new bras; you don’t want them too loose otherwise they wear too quickly and you’ll be back getting a new one in no time.
  5. The metal wire should never sit on the side of your boob tissue; it should sit flat on the bone.
  6. When you lift your hands up, the bra shouldn’t lift with you and reveal lots of underboob. It should stay firmly anchored.
  7. Avoid washing bras in the washing machine! The elastic expands and breaks, which causes that annoying fold-over effect in t-shirt bras. If you absolutely must wash it in the machine, do it cold or in a proper bra bag!
  8. And please, don't make the straps too tight just to compensate for an ill-fitting, loose band!

I HOPE THIS HELPS XX

RANT - advice welcome My boobs make me feel like a bad mother Spoiler

PLEASE let me know I’m not alone on this? As a lurker on this sub I know you’re all acquainted with the daily issues we face on our own, but what happens when it starts affecting our loved ones? As a single mom I have it hard enough as it is, people love to make wild assumptions about me or look down on me which isn’t fine but I’m used to it.

Unfortunately now I’m starting to see the effect it has on my child and it’s infuriating. At my size, it’s pretty unavoidable to attract attention everywhere I go but lately I feel like it’s causing him to be embarrassed of his own mom. There’s assholes that don’t understand boundaries or how to act when a kid is around. It’s one thing to be catcalled, it’s another to be catcalled when your son is right next to you. I also feel scrutinized at his school because I know how the other parents look at me. I’ve been judged for what I’ve worn to parent-teacher conferences when it’s literally the same thing other people were wearing. His teacher has told me he’s been having trouble getting along with his classmates and I know for a fact it’s my fault because I’ve heard what his ā€œfriendsā€ have said about me. I could go on and on but you get the idea. I feel like I’m a horrible mother and that he would be so much better off without me causing issues for him.

need advice Anyone else have slumped shoulders from large boobs weighing them down? Spoiler

I have horrible posture from my larger breasts and I would love some suggestions on how to help correct this. It’s awful to deal with and I can’t get a breast reduction because my boobs ā€œAren’t large enoughā€œ even though theyā€˜re throwing my upper back out(which hurts me more often than not)and causing my whole upper body to slump in ways it isn’t suppose to. If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated

bras sports bra recommendation? Spoiler

hi all. i've been wearing the same sports bras for over ten years now, of course, purchased from marshalls, which means i'll never be able to find them again. i've checked the brand as well and naturally, they don't make this exact bra anymore. it's perfect because it clasps in the back, the shoulders have velcro so you can adjust how tight it is (and aren't ones that go through the middle of the back, they have individual thick straps), and there's enough fabric to fully cover my boobs without any spillage (i'm about a 38DDD).

i really would love a sports bra recommendation. but here's the issue i run into: i HATE underwire sports bras, i HATE sports bras that have molded cups/cups that are already formed/encapsulation. i also don't want one of those overhead ones that have absolutely no compression. i want compression! but all the sports bras that say they're my size don't have enough actual fabric to fully cover the boobs.

does anyone have any recommendations at all or any idea of any sports bras that kind of fit this? or do you have any sports bras that you love that are worth it? because the two i have are starting to fall apart. i don't care about the shelf boob look lol.

need advice Bra for horse riding Spoiler

I have a pretty big chest and In the past I’ve been able to get away with wear 2 sports bras when learning to ride, but as I’m getting better I’m going faster and it no longer cutting it. my chest hurts after every ride and I thank goodness it cold out right now and I can wear a jacket.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for high support sports bras that hold up while horses riding.
