Does Juice break his game best of 76 receiving yards this game?
Feels like he’s got to be more trustworthy as a receiving option.

Flexed out of SNF Wk17?
It's almost guaranteed that this game is flexed out of the SNF lineup. Hurts on season-ending IR, Eagles fire sale, trading players for draft picks? 49ers could have #1 seed by then too. I'm calling it.

Discussion “There’s Dogfights Coming”: Steve Young Worried About 49ers Roster Despite 6–0 Start
Source: Several teams interested in Colts RB Taylor as trade deadline approaches
Multiple teams would be open to a potential trade for Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor, a source told ESPN on Thursday, but it remains unclear whether the Colts are ready to unload players before the trade deadline.
Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner, 32, is another player around whom trade speculation is swirling.
All-Pro guard Quenton Nelson is in the final year of his deal and might be of interest to teams looking to make a postseason push.
Bring Buckner home.

G-baby is a future All Pro
It gets lost that this dude was not supposed to start this year. At only 22, we’re watching him absolutely WRECK olines. With how great this team has drafted the last couple years, is anyone else feeling reluctant throwing away picks for a rental piece?
[Maiocco] WR Mike Evans (Achilles) was not seen as the 49ers began practice on Thursday. He did not practice last week and ended up playing on Monday night.

Discussion How would you rank the best mid-season trades in 49ers history?
With all this talk about makin trades and going after players. We clearly need to go after some trade(s). With that being said which mid-season trades have been the best? I can't comment on Fred Dean because that was before my time but clearly he'd be #1.
For me it would be;
1. CMC
2. Jimmy
3. Emmanuel Sanders
4. Chase Young
5. Keion White
HM: Jordan Willis simply for blocking Green Bays punt and essentially winning the game for us.

[Nguyen] How Raheem Morris has made 49ers’ defense a force despite injuries, reliance on rookies
Interesting read touching on the defensive rookies, Morris's use of 5-man fronts, Keion White helping set up d-line games, and good blitz design. One bit I'll quote here:
Another major area of improvement from last season is how effective Morris’ blitzes are. Morris is blitzing at the 16th-highest rate (17.2 percent), and the 49ers rank No. 6 in defensive EPA per dropback (0.14) when bringing five or more rushers. Last season, they ranked No. 29 in EPA per dropback when blitzing (-0.27). They’re covering better on the back end, but the details in Morris’ blitz designs make a difference.
Are you ready for the Cooks and Kirk show on Sunday?
Next man up. These are the only good, healthy receivers left. 🤣

The Niners will most likely make a trade at the bye.
I know folks are clamoring for a trade to be done (as am I), but it makes the most sense for the 49ers to trade during the bye week. Given the amount of folks at WR that we’re expecting back + lingering injuries to Sigle and Bosa that should be healed by then, my assumption is they want to take a full stock of the team then and then make the necessary trade.
Bye week just makes the most sense.

With Upton Stout struggling at slot for us this year (after a promising end to last year), does it make any sense to try a returning J'Ayir Brown as a rotational slot?
There was some discussion on who J'Ayir Brown in our safety duo, and it seems rough because our safeties are legit playing well this year so far. So instead of taking out one of the high performers, and seeing as Brown has always played better close to the line, or in the box, or when able to help out in run support, does it make sense to involve Brown in more packages as a slot cornery/box safety hybrid? I'd feel more comfortable with him against TEs, especially if needed in the run game, and I think given the right matchups, he could do better than Stout (and Stout can always come in on dime packages).
I would feel very good about starting a lineup of
Bosa, Osa, Gracen, Mykel
Greenlaw, Warner
Lenoir J'Ayir, Renardo
Mustapha, Siqle
