I started this journey when I was 40 and I feel incredibly happy today. It is never too late to follow your heart and live your truth. There have been dark and hard times but it has absolutely been worth it. To all my older eggs out there, please know that it’s possible to transition later in life.

Been feeling really dysphoric these days. This is the last pic I took of me that I liked a little bit. I've been on e for 3 months. Seen some change but I still feel so ugly. Feel like y'all would help.

I’ve been super self conscious about my hairline for a long time, and even with bangs I’d get really dysphoric if they didn’t sit right. But i also really didn’t want to go through the process of getting hairline restoration, so instead i got my bestie to put some cute tattoos on my face and i absolutely love the way its changed how i see myself. One of my biggest insecurities is now a thing i love. Very excited to see how this looks once the baby hairs along my hairline grow back in and make the shift from hair to tattoo look more organic.

Hii Im trans but I didnt come out yet only my best friend and sister knows my girly side and I just got a girlfriend we are together like 2 monts and I love her so much but I dont know how to tell her or should I ever tell her, can I forget this whole thing and live my life as a “normal” guy? I really dont know what to do I didnt had time since april to go out as a girl but yesterday I went out to my lovely hairdresser and it felt so good to present myself feminine again felt so beautiful but I dont know I can imagine my life as a girl in my family relationship and then with my children at work etc… If I was alome in this whole world I for sure get all of the surgeries hormones and everything but Im afraid If I make that step my life gonna collapse🥺❤️

Bit over a year on E and a good 11 sessions on facial laser and I feel SO much better about looking in the mirror 🥹

I just had my first appointment with my doctor about HRT and I am scared.

It's not about being more fem, or being seen as such, I'm okay with that. It's the small things. I worry about leaving parts of myself behind / what if I start and want to go back? I know what I am, and every time I look in the mirror I start to cry because the thoughts in my head are ringing out "you'd be such a pretty girl. The beard needs to go." It hurts. I'm hurting. Is this normal? To know what I am but still doubt going through with making myself so? I've been presenting a man so long I fear I'll lose myself when I finally go through with what I've known myself to be for so long. The cave paintings I've watched my whole life are being torn away from me and I'm being dragged into the blinding light of my truth and I'm scared. What if it's easier on this side than when I cross over? I'm scared. What do I do? What can I do?

Isn't it funny how when you've finally gotten to a point where your hair looks somewhat ok that people will comment on how bad it looks? 10outta10 love it so fun, so instead of going from bad to ok its actually horrible to bad. It's so god damn hard to even try anymore and then you realize you're still on step 1 no matter how long you've done this.

And now I'm making some buhu poor me post and expect people to tell me the truth and how bad it really is. Why can't things just be easy why can't we stop time for a bit in our 20s so we can understand the feelings and thoughts we have.....

Anyways hopefully y'all have a more positive day😁 feels sorta weird to post this on a positive sub but apparently I need to scream in to the void... sorry😔
