There is no world where Penix is the QB of the future

I’m not gonna come on here and say Penix is the worst QB in the league. I think he could cook in the perfect situation. I think Denver would be nuts with him for example. But there is no way it’s gonna work for us.

Penix cannot move AT ALL. It is a misconception in today’s NFL that being a pure pocket passer is a play style. It isn’t. Being unable to move is a massive hindrance and mobility is not a special trait, it’s the baseline. His mobility is on par with the oldest QBs in the league and it might be worse. Cousins, Rodgers, and Stafford have all danced in the pocket better than Penix. Combine that with his injury issues. He CANNOT take a hit. Half the times he gets touched he’s in the blue tent. Having someone who can’t move and can’t get hit is not feasible. Look how it ended with Tua in Miami.

There is no timeline where we build the perfect situation around him before he’d need a contract, and that would almost assuredly prevent us from building said perfect situation. He was never a good prospect. That was always a bad pick, even more so because of the overall bungled situation given to us by the last regime. I’m so sick of fans having the same cope we’ve seen for the last decade. If going just below .500 again makes you happy good for you but I can’t stand to put my energy into watching that again.

Image Falc-mily, on Sunday, a humongous test awaits: Can the sheer power and glory of the ethereal throwbacks stop the return of Dejohnold?

Post image

As we all know, no matter what is going on in the season, the throwback Atlanta Falcons become invincible. Since the Falcons brought back the red helmets in 2022, they are undefeated in them except for one time against the Steelers, which I am choosing to ignore. But unfortunately, we will be up against the currently 5-0 49er's in the Dejohnold revenge game, which means that the niners are mostly likely going to play the greatest defense of their life.

Which curse/buff do you guys think will prevail next weekend? The stupendous aura of the throwbacks, or the curse of Dejohnold?

Fan section?

It is getting to a point where they’re going to need to do something drastic to get actual Atlanta fans back into MSB consistently. What if there was a ticket package that was cheaper but you couldn’t resell the tickets? If you couldn’t go, your tickets would go into a pool for others who signed up to try and get tickets but couldn’t. This is basically a NFL student section. Just doing my traditional Monday morning reflecting on our Dirty Birds.

EDIT: I am just trying to spitball ideas, I am not saying people just spend the prices to go support the team. I am saying the ownership needs to change something to get more fans in the building outside of just winning

World Cup Continues

Yall are looking at this all wrong.

We saw the successful FWC hosting event and decided to translate that model to NFL! We built a team that could be exciting so you have to see them in person but it’s really marketed towards tourists who come to Atlanta for the weekend!

Hotel taxes, bars, Airbnbs…AB & MR know these Atlantans are struggling to pay their third mortgages so he’s helping them fill their Airbnbs by bringing Chicago money back south.

Next step is to just let two other teams play each other but for now we have the falcons

Season Ticket Holders: Bitch at your Ticket Rep Today

If you have season tickets call or email your rep and tell them you are tired of feeling like a visitor in your own stadium and that this is making you reconsider renewal.

The team knows which PSL holders habitually resell tickets, there are steps we can take to incentivize getting Falcons fans in those seats.

Will this change anything? Probably not.

Will Arthur Blank hear about it if enough people call? Absolutely.

a thought experiment

Obviously the bears fans showed up enough to where we needed to use a silent count. seen a lot of discourse online today about how "nobody would show up when the team is this bad", etc. etc.

Do the Browns have the same issue? Haven't they been bad forever? Please don't talk about their recent playoff run with Baker because that's one season of many. Why don't we hold ourselves to the same standard and show out and support the team?

I'm a falcons fan based in los angeles but would love to go watch a game at the Benz if I had the chance.

My apology on behalf of bears fans.

I wanted to apologize on behalf of the bears fan base, because some extremely low IQ bears fans chanted “green bay sucks” while kendal daniels layed on the ground unresponsive. That couldn’t have been a more inappropriate moment to chant that. We don’t accept the bears fans that chanted. I hope kendal daniels can stay healthy, and I hope he is 100% okay ASAP.
