Penix
Honestly give it to the trade deadline and see how penix does if it doesn’t then we just need to tank

Embarrassing…we let the bears have home field advantage in the Benz, because Arthur Blank would rather have empty seats than seats that sell for less than $300 for nosebleeds…was watching ticket prices until the game started and they didn’t go down a bit, but somehow there were a lot of empty seats…
Same shit every year in the Benz…hella companies buy out sections just to sell every game and concert ticket strictly for profit.
They need to do what every self respecting sports franchise does and take away season tickets next year if you sell too many games or don’t go to enough…Hell even the braves, who have 162 games in the season will take your tickets away next year for not going to enough games.
Opposing teams come into our stadium and take it over because Arthur decided to price out all the real fans from the ga dome when he built the Benz. All he cares about is that stadium…those beer and hotdog prices ain’t a blessing for us, it’s for us to be good hosts to the home team visiting that week so their fans can talk about how nice and cool it is….
Bears took over way before the game started, just like the ravens the week before. Pathetic…I can take the L but not the embarrassment of having every home game be an away game now. Before you even say it’s the fan’s fault…it’s not…can’t blame the ones who sell 2 tickets a year to pay for some of their overpriced season tickets that jumped up by $400 when we had RIDDER. After 2016 and a whole DECADE of not being .500 why the fuck are we supposed to pay almost double for a shittier product on field. But hey, let’s keep hiring people like Raheem/terry/arthur & the BROWNS’, out of all teams, hand me downs only to keep wasting players like Bijan and London’s prime.
Rich McKay wasn’t the only common denominator with our losing culture/identity…and “culture” starts from the top…Arthur, either give it to the grandson already or sell cause you just simply lost the plot.

Honestly looking at our schedule and out division schedule this division is still winnable

First of all, let’s keep our expectations in check here. We all knew that this year was a developmental/building year.
Penix is just now hitting a full season’s worth of starts and is looking good to great at times. I was impressed today with him showing touch and power when needed. Pressure still rattles him without a doubt, but was still able to put up numbers 3TDs no INTs. Also looked more poised in the pocket today. Not even really a single ball thrown into danger. If mp9 can stay healthy I’m very excited for his growth.
He also looked a bit more trusting of his legs today and looked more agile in the pocket. Dude was pressured on most drop backs near instantly and dealt with it pretty well overall I would say. (108 rating)
I know after a loss people tend to go into doomer mode, but our guy looks to be making real strides in his development.
Let’s hope he can stay healthy long term.

Honestly I mean we are pretty mid this season cause I mean there’s way worse teams then us right now heck I mean even the colts lost today and even the rams are struggling

Tommy Rees called a bad one.
The second down screens killed us. The run was working and he should have stuck with it. Incompletion in first down? Run it twice. Bijan would have taken us to the first down and beyond. The screens got eaten alive every time and killed our drives. He’s playing 3D chess when he doesn’t have to.
Yes, Branch screwed us with the fumbles, but good teams overcome that stuff.
Yes, Penix missed some throws, but overall played okay.
Yes, the defense gave up some early scores, but played so-so considering all the injuries.
If Tommy Rees calls a better game we win.
That’s all.

This is a wild possibility that could happen in a couple of weeks honestly

During the five years as general manager, Fontenot made decisions that was good and there were times that he made decisions that wasn't wise.

Giving Pitts his flowers today. Put Pitts at WR, today is evidence he and drake would be absolute bullies.

As long as the rest of our division loses today we should be fine

Like yeah it doesn’t help that it happened so late in the game but to not lie down and die like the falcons last season would probably do i have to respect it (im still in the boat for a qb) but i have to give penix some leniency

Tommy Rees, thought it was okay to not continue the run game?! Fucccck man.
r/falcons • u/PuzzleheadedHalf9654 • 19h ago
I think teams going forward will force the falcons to pass the ball and with penix lack of a short passing game or middle of the field game it’s gonna be hard to win games without the short passing game going
r/falcons • u/Ultra_Shadow97 • 7h ago
And they never will. I don't even think it's coaching at this point. Am I overreacting?

We have the same record as the super bowl favorite Los Angeles Rams! We can do this… (Silly post, save your doomer bs for another post)
