DISCUSSION Bo Nix has a 69.23% winrate when posting a Passer Rating under 90, by far the highest mark among currently active NFL starting QBs
The rest of the top 5 in <90 passer rating win% is rounded out, predictably, by a bunch of serial winners. Mahomes, Jackson, Hurts, and Allen. However, as we can see, each of these players sees a dramatic dropoff in win% when they post a below average performance. Brock Purdy, who like Nix has a 70% career winrate, has just a 37.5% winrate when he posts a sub-90 passer rating, good for a difference of 32.5%.
Nix's win% drops just 0.77% when he has a <90 Passer Rating game, the lowest dropoff among currently active starting QBs.

OTHER First time to arrowhead
Hi! We are in from Georgia to catch the chiefs chargers game. First home game I’ve been to, only seen when we play the falcons in Atlanta. How’s the tailgating? Won’t have our own car but would obviously bring our own drinks and food. Any big tailgate party’s in certain lots that are going on we could just drop in on?

DISCUSSION Career ANY/A+ of Notable NFL Quarterbacks
I put together a list of every NFL quarterback, since 1966, to achieve at least one of the following:
-Super Bowl Champion as a starter
-NFL/AFL MVP
-All-Pro 1st Team at QB
-Induction into the NFL Hall of Fame
That gave me a list of 58 quarterbacks. I then calculated their career Adjusted Net Yards per Attempt Plus (ANY/A+). This is an era-adjusted stat where 100 is always league average. Since it's era-adjusted, we can use it to more accurately compare quarterbacks across eras. ANY/A+ data comes from profootballreference.com, but the career calculations on that website are often inaccurate, so the calculations here were done by me.
Note: PFR lacks data necessary for ANY/A+ data for NFL players prior to 1963, and for AFL players prior to 1969. As a result, several players, noted in italics, are missing some data. These range from Roman Gabriel, who is missing just his rookie season, to Johnny Unitas and Len Dawson, who are missing 7 seasons each.

HUMAN INTEREST Chiefs rookie Mansoor Delane is off to a strong start. Even his harshest critic agrees
Chiefs rookie Mansoor Delane is off to a strong start, ranking among the NFL's top defensive rookies. But defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, who's known for being hard on cornerbacks, still sees plenty of room for improvement. Why is Delane's toughest critic also one of his biggest believers? Read for free.

r/KansasCityChiefs • u/rolyinpeace • 2d ago
ANALYSIS & NEWS [Sweeney] In from our brief media look. Those on the injury report — Chiefs DB Chamarri Conner, QB Patrick Mahomes, LT Josh Simmons, CB L’Jarius Sneed and FB Ben VanSumeren — were working. Rashee Rice was without a helmet and pads in workout clothes jogging and near the WRs during individual.
