Hi, wondering if anyone has a good recommendation for a dietician in Brisbane? For context I’m a 25 year old woman who lost over 40 kg 2 years ago and have about 20kg to go before I’m a healthy weight. For about the last year, my weight has plateaued, despite macro tracking and the gym; so I’m looking for some professional help (as I don’t want to take a GLP1).

Ideally, I would like to find a dietician who understands what I’ve been through, being a morbidly obese person and having to lose 50+ kilos - rather than being naturally thin their whole life. Or have extensive experience working with people like me. However, I understand they are probably few and far between.

Looking for recommendations for registered dieticians, not online fitness or weight loss coaches.

My elderly father has qualified for Support at home level 7 and I’m having to withdraw them from a nursing home as it’s costing me $250 per day which is financially unsustainable. Cheaper nursing homes are similarly priced so unfortunately not an option. I was wondering if anyone who has dealt with any support at home providers in Brisbane can recommend some good ones for complex care needs ie. medications, toileting, showering, cooking, assistance with mobility etc. Located in Chapel Hill. My father has given me a box of his old records from the 80s and 70s (Frankie goes to Hollywood, the police, icehouse etc) and don’t really have that kind of taste in music nor the space to house all of these.
Anyone know a vinyl collector willing to take these 40 odd records and singles? Or maybe can point me to someone who may buy them?

I was out at the weir a couple of weeks ago and the fish ladder is not functional. These devices are designed for two way travel and currently there is no way for any creatures to climb the weir. Does anyone have any insight in to what is currently happening? Australian Bass, Mullet, Boney Bream and Eels all use this for breeding.

I've just had a run in with what is probably a rip off. I went in to the store on the recommendation of family and asked about screen protectors. All they had on offer for my phone (Motorola edge 50 fusion) was hydrogel with privacy screen for $70. I did think this was quite steep but clearly having known less than I should have I decided to accept the price given the curved nature of the screen. Having trusted their work I took the phone and paid, unfortunately not having realised until much later on that the curved part of the screen was only very minimally covered and so if something were to strike the glass that is uncovered on the curved parts the cracked glass would obviously spread underneath the hydrogel.

I went back into the store the next day to ask for an explanation and hopefully a remedy, whether that would be to add more hydrogel to the sides or to get them to order in a case that could cover those sides. Unfortunately the only options they presented me with after rejecting my first two propositions was that I either had to accept it as is or get a full refund. Though I do feel considerably cheated given that what is on offer from other places is far cheaper for essentially the same product I still chose to reject a full refund given they had still provided me with a product worth at least part of the value.

Has anyone else had similar issues and able to provide suggestions on how to get my money's worth or is this a problem unique to my model of phone coming up against the rigidity of a large brand?
