I will keep this short and to the point gents.
Do not add to the mod queue. Do not subtract from the population of users. Do not comment while too intoxicated to control yourself.
In the last few weeks, moderator queues have shot up due to people being unable to be reasonable to one another in the comments in this community.
Disagreement is fine.
Dropping slurs, attacking them personally, commenting a retort with a pic of someone's house, insulting their wife's looks by stalking family pictures from a vacation posted 2 years ago... not fine.
Learn to use the block button. Learn to touch grass. Learn to be something unlike a jerk.
Transparency: Several months ago Reddit instantiated an auto-moderator be default for subreddits. Since then we have tweaked the settings it has been catching a lot more comments with the ugly things in them. When these suspect comments are in the mod queue, they are not posted for others to see yet, even if they look visible to you. What it does do is cause a member of the mod team to have to respond to the notifications to approve them and resolve issues when people go WAY too far. So, as cathartic as it might feel to rip into someone, it likely will not even get seen by them because the auto-moderator is putting the nasty stuff in comment jail. If it is bad enough, it gets the comment removed and the user banned.
Lastly, don't report comments that you dislike for Harassment. It only makes more work for us, but ultimately simple disagreement gets approved and kicked back out of the mod queue anyway. Repeated abuse of any feature will net a ban. Yes, every user has a summary of reports and past queue incidents. Yes, we look at it.
Please feel free to disagree, debate, correct misinformation, and generally debate on subject matter specific to the subreddit. I am not here to babysit grown men, nor do I want to. My ideal week would have 0 reasons to look at the sub with mod tools.
Moderate your own actions and we are all better for it.
This has been your safety brief.

First suppressed ar I’ve shot that doesn’t throw gas all in my face. Trigger is soon to be replaced with a geissel

Hi folks, hoping someone has any insight about replacing a handguard on the DD PDW? I’m looking to get one that I can have my suppressor slide into, needs to be 1.75” ID
Seems like due to some proprietary DD things a quick handguard swap may be more challenging but hoping people with experience can share.

Would like advice on what suppressor to run. Wasn’t planning on getting an adjusted gas block so I was wondering what buffer and spring I should use to have it run correctly. Any advice will be great as this is my first ar build will most likely buy a better barrel in the future.

Pro2a tactical upper with ballistic advantage lower. I’ve always wanted to build a tucked suppressor set up.

Just as the title states, I'm looking for a solid 300blk barrel for a build. It would be a truck or portable sleeping quarters rifle since I travel quite often. I would like to go small enough to fit in a bag or backpack and would shoot suppressed subsonic most of the time but sometimes I would use supersonic for hunting. Max distance is 150-200yds.
Good accuracy is a nice bonus, the last few barrels I tried averaged about 3MOA with 150gr fmj which is by far the most common bullet weight in my area.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Have a Q trash panda since 2018 I got along side a ghetto blaster. Looking for a dedicated can for this setup. Has enough change in the suppressor market warrant an upgrade? Can is ok, but could it be better as far as sound signature/back pressure wise? Weight really isn't a concern and sound suppresion is end goal. Been eyeing Sigs Hexium 300. Open to suggestions.

Looking for buffer weight and spring recommendations. Mainly running subs but would like supers to run as well. Open to AGB, anyone have suggestions?

Just built my 1st ar15 and it's chambered in 300blk.
Today was the 2nd time shooting it. I've been having some feeding issues today and some the 1st time (not as bad) and I'm not sure the barrel is seated all the way in correctly.(see photos)
1st time- no frs and it ran well until about 200 rounds in and then got a few light primer strikes and failure to lock open ( using gas block around position 18, blue spring and griffin sob buffer)
2nd time - installed frs and used nemo/yellow spring with sob buffer - ran one mag single locked open , then tried frs and ran about 5 shots then jam after jam and or light primer strikes and failure to shot the next bullet ( bullets load into chamber but are light struck) really have to pull hard on the charging handle to get them out.
Might be paranoid but it seems like sometimes the bcg doesn't sit all the way after loading a mag and pressing the bolt release sometimes
Running PSA/aac 220g tmj bullets.
Build:
Psa sabre upper and lower
Griffin sob buffer and nemo reduced 300blk spring ( also tried carbine spring and griffin blue spring)
7.5in faxon match barrel
Sa adjustable gas block ( 18 to 20 position on the block)
Rise 240 hex c trigger
Q blind tiger suppressor
Fudd arms abmi frs
Let me hear your thoughts.

Hasn't happened before but I tried using magtech 300 blk out sub ammo and it has issues with the bolt fully going forward, first time using this ammo not sure what to look for, the bullets themselves have some markings on them like scratches trying to set the bolt forward. I was only able to shoot it if I had the BCG locked back, load the mad and released the bolt but it wouldn't always set forward all the way. I'm assuming it's the ammo but maybe something else? I'm using a spikes tactical T2 buffer spring and weight.

Recently picked up my first 300BLK for a dedicated suppressor host/Home defense gun.
I have tinnitus and lung issues so I'm trying to balance max sound suppression with minimal gas blow back.
I know low back pressure cans aren't typically recommended for 300BLK subs but is it worth taking a chance? Or just dealing with the gas from a traditional baffle suppressor?
The CAT ODB seems to be recommended alot though I haven't seen it in stock very often and its fairly pricy.
A few others I've cosidered are
LPM Anthem S2 or L2
Silencerco Velos 7.62
CGS Hyperion K
Q Full/Half Nelson
Any other recommendations or suggestions are appreciated.

I just received this ammo and as I went to load it I am seeing a lot of rust spots. Is this common or warrant a call to customer service?

Been putting together my first 300blk build, I'm trying to figure out my buffer system next. Looking for some insight on those who run a similar barrel length and a suppressed build to get some recommendations on buffer weight and spring they have had success with for cycling.
Also, any opinions on part swaps, etc is always welcome.

My 7.5 300 blackout with a Hoffman tactical super safety does not chamber the next round and I was wondering if anyone knew a why or a fix I don’t have a suppressor and don’t plan on getting one soon. I have a h3 buffer in it and I’m running 147 grain if any help is out there I’d highly appreciate it

New to .300blk. Putting together a 10.5" with an Atrius SS and dead air nomad 30 dt. Going to be home defense and plinker, what are good rounds to run in tgis set up and what are rounds to avoid. Also, new to SS and running suppressed, somewhat new to the ar platform but definitely not new to firearms, feel free to chime in with any pertinent info i should know.

Trying this new optic setup on my PSA 300blk build. Threw a Vortex 3x Prism on top with a canted Enclosed Venom dot on top. The 3x prism is a liiiiiiiiiitle low for me, so I'm debating a small riser under it, but going to run it like this for now.
PSA 8.5" 300blk upper and PSA lower. Shadow Crossover grip, AFG up front, Rave 140 trigger, Midwest Industries 12" handguard, AB Suppressors A10 can, Vortex Spitfire 3x prism, Vortex Enclosed Venom, Gas Buster charging handle, and UTG Pro stock.

My light finally arrived and I mounted it as soon as I opened the box. I got the Sig Sauer FoxTrot-MSR 1350 lumens LED Compact Rifle Light w/ Pressure Switch and for the price you get a lot. it's no Surefire but can definitely hold it's own. On that note my home defense setup is complete. Let me know what you think.
