EDIT 2 - i am not complaining about water in swimming pool, i am complaining about 1400 families not getting drinking water for 4 days. Water for bathing and cleaning for 4 days. And committee absolutely failing to accept accountability. If you okay with spending 1cr+ and not getting any water or accountability then this society is for you.
The society name is VTP leonara and the project is called blue waters. There is noo water since 4 days. Maybe 2 hrs or 4 hrs max in few days and of course society management is useless. They have no action plan, no deadline and of-course no accountability. My recommendation at the end for everyone in Pune.
TLDR for dumbs dumbs - The complain is not about swimming pool. The complain is about not getting water for 4 days straight. Drought yes, water needs to be managed and not wasted. Not receiving water with no deadline, no plan, and no action is complain. The complain is more of the society and its mismanagement.

I am sooooo much excited for the dune 3 ,
I didn't watched 1 and 2 in theatre ( because i watched dune late , but when i watched i realised how much i missed out and still regret it ) ,
And please dont suggest IMAX , because my friends won't agree for that budget .
if it's a cheaper one of course suggest it .

Kisi ne ye graffiti banake pure aesthetics ka satyanash kar diya.
I mean, yevdhi sundar jaga ahe pan hyanchi masti tar bagha na. Ani te kay lihlay te nit vachta suddha yet nahi.
Btw, this place is in Baramati. Ik it's not Pune, but it's not not Pune either. Ani dusra kuthla subreddit pan nahi milala post karayla 😭
PS. My phone's camera turns into a potato in low light , so these pics don't really do justice to how good the place looks IRL.
Edit: Ironically, I see so many comments saying it looks good/aesthetic 😭😭 But hear me out, I swear it's just the lighting and camera angle making it look good. It looks so much worse IRL 💀

This might be a weird question.
But I have observed couples sitting side by side in restaurants and cafes, a lot.
I mean isn't it inconvenient to talk if you're sitting beside each other, rather than sitting in opposite to each other?
I might be wrong, but just asking opinion.

So as you might know currently we are having election for graduate constituency of Pune so regarding that every single day I'm receiving calls, texts, WhatsApp messages at odd hours and it begs a question in my mind about our privacy. I know privacy is a myth but still calling voters 10 times a day, texting and sending messages in bulk shouldn't be acceptable because this is torturing at this point and yes I tried blocking numbers on WhatsApp and Truecaller but next time they are calling from a new number there is this one candidate harshada jadhav from whom I have received calls from at least 10 different numbers. This is all frustrating all of my whatsapp inbox is filled with these messages, same with text. Election commission needs to draw some boundary between publicity and spamming not that there is a lot of hope looking at the current situation of ECI in the meantime if anyone knows how to stop this please guide.

Hi All,
First note: Please find below details which I have so far. If either side is reading this post and finds any mistakes in my description of situation, please help me by pointing it out so I can correct it. This post we will keep as proof so that when any side goes legal, we have details documented.
From victim side: She attended the house party organized by Redditor 1. And previous Mod was also present there. In the house party, r@pe happened and she is really in trauma. People gave this info after a week and thus she wasn't able to gather the proofs.
This gave her extreme trauma. Having extreme thoughts and as a Sub, let's try our best to support her. From Mod side, we are preserving proofs as much as we can so that when we go legal, we can help victim
From the accused side:
In the house party, the SA was about to happen but people stopped it just before it happened and they supported her to come out of trauma.
At the same time, they gave the treatment. Now, when the other person came to know this, they asked her to go legal immediately and helping her to come out of trauma, if required to go legal, give all the support required from asking parents to everything possible.
From Mod perspective: We have banned all the people named by the victim in chat with me.
Regarding closing the sub: We don't have the authority to control who sees the content as this is public Sub.
We will be posting the chain of mod notes for safe meetups which will include points to be followed by both organisers and attendees.
Regarding taking extreme steps of name & Shame or asking the victim to go legal, we can't do it as this is a very serious matter and we will be complying with legal and reddit laws.
Note: We are treating this issue with empathy and full support to the victim and keeping innocent until proven guilty for the names shared by the victim.

Hey everyone! 👋
I was thinking of creating a group for people working in IT, preferably those working at established companies, who want to connect, hang out, make friends, and plan meetups.
The idea is to keep it casual and social, not another professional networking or LinkedIn group. 😄
To maintain a genuine and comfortable environment, I'd verify members' LinkedIn profiles before adding them. This isn't about judging anyone by their company or designation; it's simply a basic credibility check to keep the group authentic and discourage creeps, fake profiles, and people with bad intentions.
The goal is to create a chill space where people can meet like-minded folks, make genuine connections, and plan things together.
Little background about me - I'm currently working as an SDE-2 at Morgan Stanley and looking to connect with like-minded people in IT who are interested in making genuine friends, hanging out, and planning meetups
Would anyone be interested? Let me know what you think!

I recently saw a post about most overrated places in Pune and was instantly reminded of putting this post for everyone who is going to waste their time and money on a restaurant in Pune.
This is about Sri Saikrupa veg non veg restaurant in Chandan Nagar. I was forced to go here along with my roomate (deliberately put wrong spelling to avoid post removal). I already knew that Instagram has overrated restaurant related reels for views. Guess what, the restaurant had a wait of 1.5 hours.
After waiting for 2 hours, our turn finally came and when I went inside, I could see occasional cockroaches on the floor and used tissues all over the place. The tables were unhygienic as F.
They took one more hour to bring the so called "creamy tandoori chicken" which my roomate was so obsessed about. When she tasted it, I could see the disappointment on her face.
They brought the chicken tikka masala which we ordered and it was also tasteless. Just too many spices and invitation to acidity.
The chicken in both cases was frozen chicken and chewy like anything.
When we stepped out, the manager had the audacity to ask how the dish was even if it was clearly obvious how unhygienic the restaurant was.
I really pray that munde ji puts a raid on this restaurant.

Nice place with a good crowd, you can sit straight for 3-4 hours. Food and coffee were slightly above average but made up for no disturbance in those hours.
Recommended for a work cafe or if you like reading.

Pretty much the same as title.
I originally had a beautiful pair of Jade Bangles that my grandma had brought from her China trip back in the day.
But last year they were damaged.
I've been wanting to buy a new pair but afraid of getting dupes or treated Jade.
So would really appreciate if anyone can tell me where in Pune I can find original Jade Bangles.
The material could be Jadeite or Nephrite.
Thank you in advance.

I’m setting myself a challenge: earn ₹65,000 in the next 65 days by doing odd work, freelance tasks, or pretty much any honest work people are willing to pay for.
Need help with Excel, research, civil engineering, quantity estimation, project planning, data entry, errands, or a random task you’ve been putting off? I’m listening.
I’m based in Pune, but open to remote work from anywhere in India.
Your boring task could be my next paycheck.

Life gets busy in our 30s, and making new friends or building meaningful connections isn't always easy.
I'm looking to bring together a mixed-gender group of people aged 30 to 40 in Pune who'd like to meet like-minded people, build genuine friendships and have a community they can feel comfortable being part of.
Rather than creating another WhatsApp group that eventually goes inactive, I'd like to build this gradually.
The plan is to start with an invite-only, private Reddit community, have brief conversations with interested people, and get to know each other before eventually moving to WhatsApp.
As the community grows, I'd love for members to help shape it, suggest ideas and ensure it stays welcoming, respectful and authentic.
I'm not looking to build a huge group overnight. I'd rather start small and build something worthwhile with the right people.
If this resonates with you, feel free to DM me with your age, general area in Pune and a little about yourself.
I'm also open to constructive criticism, alternative ideas or suggestions on how to make this initiative better. This is just a starting point, and I'd love to hear what others think.
The idea is simple: fewer random acquaintances, more real connections. Let's build something good together. 🙂
