A 35-year-old man was seriously injured after being allegedly attacked by unidentified assailants in broad daylight at Trimbak Naka in Nashik, Maharashtra. The incident reportedly triggered tension in the busy locality.

The injured man was rushed to Nashik District Civil Hospital, where his condition is said to be critical. Mumbai Naka Police have launched an investigation and reportedly detained two suspects for questioning. Further details are awaited.
