I was reading a comment and it says marathis don't own Maharashtra as if everybody has a equal stake in Maharashtra until it comes on their state. People say kashmir is for Kashmiris, punjab is for Punjabis, tamil nadu is for Tamils, Uttarakhand is for pahadis. But only Maharashtra is for everybody? People forget that states were divided based on ethnicities for a reason. And we all should respect that. Marathis will always have priotization in Maharashtra, even before rest of the indians. That's how state functions. It's a systemic and political attempt to strip Maharashtra from marathis and their dominance. Cuz they know if they control Maharashtra, they control this nation and its ideologies as seen in history
