News [Henderson] Seahawks TE AJ Barner spent last night at the House That Love Built Gala benefiting Ronald McDonald House of Western Washington. He spoke and auctioned off a pair of his game-worn, autographed cleats to raise money for the organization, which he’s worked with for over a year.

News [PFT] By fining 49ers S Malik Mustapha for an illegal hit on Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba with 1:13 to play on Sunday, the NFL admits that the officials failed to call a personal foul that would have extended Seattle's final drive.

Opinion Trading for a RB isn’t needed

Just got this original idea to pop up into my head, what if we traded for a running back. Kenneth Walker is doing really good with the Chiefs and we have a terrible running game. So because of that we should trade for Saquon Barkley or maybe Tony Pollard, or the Colts maybe would give up Jonathan Tay- SHUT UP JUST SHUT THE HELL UP

BOTH OUR TOP 2 RUNNING BACKS ARE HURT AND ARE GOING TO BE BACK VERY SOON, YES SHAHEED HAS BEEN A HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT IN TERMS OF PRODUCTION, BUT THERE WAS ZERO REASON TO PAY KENNETH THAT WITH THE PRODUCTION HE PUT UP IN SEASONS PRIOR, ESPECIALLY WITH KNOWING THAT WE COULD POSSIBLY SUSTAIN THAT LOSS

There wasn’t anything we could do about Kenneth leaving, the season he is having is a product of him being fully healthy, and having an insane amount of confidence in a new team, with a whole new atmosphere where he is the main guy, which he just wasn’t ever going to be here with JSN, and even Charb behind him

We should not trade for a running back unless it is a cheap deal, with very little capital given up, and ideally a running back not going to last longer than a season or two

Jadarian Price and Charbonnet as a 1 and 2 is perfectly sufficient as a running back duo, and honestly could end up being better than what we’ve had, but holy fuck this fanbase has completely lost the idea of having the number one thing needed in this league which is patience

Sam is playing awful, but so is Bo Nix, Herbert, Stafford has not been super sharp(rams team is more to blame for this, but there’s been a drop off), Drake Maye hasn’t been overly convincing either, these were all teams last year that were all high end playoff teams, Sam’s struggles have been worse than them, but not completely out of their league with how bad our offense as a WHOLE has been

Trading for a running back at this point in time just wouldn’t be smart from a front office point of view, especially when we have two perfectly good RBs that will come back, and will be able to contribute at a far higher level than we are seeing right now

Stop posting about trading for half the running backs in the league

Do you feel like once they come back, the running game will be better? Also how much will it open the passing game?

Opinion Seahawks Favorites to Beat Chiefs

I saw that our Hawks are favorites to beat the unbeaten Chiefs. I understand it is a home game. But how could this be with how we’ve been playing? I feel like the NFL has had some corruption this year.

Opinion I’m not worried yet.

I’m honestly not worried about the Seahawks.

We’re 3–3 with a +26 point differential, and our three losses are by eight points combined. Yes, 24 of that +26 came against Arizona. We’re not dominating, but we’re competitive every week with the second-ranked defense in EPA per play. The offense needs to improve.

We still have 65% of our schedule, 75% of our NFC games and four division games ahead. Our final seven are all against NFC opponents.

And before Niners fans call this cope: 5–0 and +61 deserve credit. But 42 of those 61 points came against Miami and a sleep-deprived Rams team in Australia. Your opponents are a combined 10–17. If we’re scrutinizing Seattle’s margins, apply that context to yours too.

Bosa and Deebo are out this week, Evans is questionable, and Minnesota, a trip to Kansas City and our rematch are still ahead. You’ve earned the lead. You haven’t settled the division.

I’m frustrated with our execution. I’m not worried about where this season can go.

News [Mookie] The NFL essentially admitted the 49ers should've had a 15-yard penalty on this Mustapha hit on JSN on the game's deciding drive. Mustapha got fined for a hit on a defenseless player. They missed the call and Seattle should've been in game-tying field goal range.

Analysis Speedy WRs

We have a ton of speed in our WR room:

-JSN
-Shaheed
-Horton

Why aren’t we throwing bombs up more often?

Especially without our RBs healthy.

Genuine question.

Opinion Best Jersey bowl of all time?

Hey, new fan here (joined as an international 12 in 2024). Aside from the ups and downs of the last game against the Broncos, both teams had really stellar uniforms that contrasted each other well. So far it’s been the best jersey matchup I’ve seen.

Wanted to ask, what other games (across nfl) had great jerseys that play off of each other? Any famous playoffs games with a good jersey matchup?

Opinion Sam threw 51 times on Thursday, teams are 4-43 when a QB throws more than 50 times in the last 4 seasons.

I just wanted to bring this up because it’s an interesting stat, as well as good indicator that for all his mistakes, Sam has also been put in a position to fail.
- He’s been sacked 10 times in two games
- Our starters on OL allowed 27 pressures causing Sam to have to drop back on over half of his snaps.

Pair this with sub par and hurt run game, ugly and un-creative play calling and teams no longer biting the fake so they are covering our WRs; I think there is an extremely unfair and overlooked situation Sam is now in. One that I also think Drew would struggle if not immensely in.

Im not scape goating his mistakes, hes not playing to standard and many of his INTs are inexcusable. But if we seriously just blame Sam Darnold (when there’s not even a logical reason to believe a SB QB would just suddenly turn bad all by himself) when it’s clear the entire offensive system is just bad, we will end up like the 2025 Vikings.
