Jags lose to the Texans in London. Titans beat the Colts.
How y'all feeling today?

Atmosphere in the stadium today was abysmal. 90% of the Jags fan who actually had jerseys or caps seemed to be often foreign tourists with no interest in the game. There was literally one guy sitting in front of me playing on his phone the entire game. Then another bunch were shouting Duvaaal when we had crucial third and fourth downs. I am done. Will be spending my money and time flying over to Florida in future.

Hello guys
I am from Germany and I am warching the NFL since 2016.
I never had a real favourite team, because my favourite soccer/football team breaks me enough.
But over the last weeks the guys like Lawrence and Hunter made me root for you guys.
Any tips or good videos etc to get some more insights?
Thank you guys :)
I've been a doomer for most of my years on this sub, so I don't try to make posts looking on the bright side. But i don't want this performance by Hunter to be forgotten. What a DOG

Love the effort they've displayed on Offense, and special teams.

During today's game I started to notice some interesting personnel usage from Houston, to the point where it began to give me minor flashbacks to last year's game against the Rams.
Post-game film hasn't been released yet, but Next Gen Stats has confirmed the insane usage rates described in the title.
NGS also added:
The Texans averaged 6.3 yards per play with six or more offensive lineman on Sunday, running the ball on 15 of 21 plays for 5.3 yards per carry.
On one hand, I know that our pass defense was the bigger issue today, so it seems a bit silly to complain about our rush defense.
But on the other hand, I can't help but feel like this might have some bigger downstream implications in our future opponents.
We gave up 34 points today, the most by any team we've faced since Week 10 2025, when we gave up 36 points in a loss against...
Houston.
That means we've allowed 35 PPG to the Texans, while only allowing 14.3 PPG to every other team during that span.
So the team that uses 6OL heavy personnel sets at the highest rate in the NFL is the only team to score that many points against a stout Jags defense.
The team whose rushing attack has gotten worse (bottom 3 going into Week 6), going against a team whose rushing defense has gotten better (top 3 going into Week 6), decided to double-down on their crazy 6OL usage and got the same winning result they did last year.
I would've hoped that Campanile would have prepared for this better going in, given that their heavy sets are not exactly a secret (unlike McVay's surprise bombardment of 13 personnel that killed us last year against the Rams).
One result from last year isn't enough for DCs to bat an eye, and I'm not even saying that 2 results is enough to spark a trend, but it's at least enough for opposing defenses to raise an eyebrow and start asking questions.
"Do we have the personnel to make similar threats?"
"Can we learn something about how to attack the Jags from their losses against the Texans?"
"Does their run D have an achilles heel?"
I hope the team takes the bye week to get some rest as well as some critical self-review, not solely focusing on the holes in the passing defense.
We come back from the bye facing the one team that has the biggest grudge/streak to break against us, with the one rusher with the greatest capability of changing the narrative with of our rushing defense.

I’ve always stuck with the belief that he’s still the guy we saw in his rookie season and hated when anyone would mention trading him. Now I truly believe he’s a WR5 on this team and should be traded ASAP

That's all I'm gonna say.

I'm a UK fan and if that game ha been played at The Bank would most likely be a win. Parker slid out due to the wet turf, some of his drops probably due to the wet conditions. Not taking 3 points early was due to ground conditions. Plus just having a more friendly crowd. Sucks that we probably lost a division game due to playing in London.

These guys are making so much money to get blocked out of plays by middling offensive lineman. They NEVER show up in big moments
