General π Is the 1970 Mustang one of the most underrated classic Mustang designs?
The black hood, modern wheels, and aggressive stance give it a pretty unique look.

Was my dadβs high school pickup. It sat in the barn for 20 years then I got it running, parked it again for another 20 years. Took us 3 days to get it going again and quite a bit of elbow grease to get a bit of the shine back.

so i have a 2023 taurus (middle east one, basically the chinese mondeo) and every time i wanted to change something in forscan i had to go find a windows laptop. got annoying real fast
the mac options i found were all paid (crossover, or parallels + a windows license) so i ended up vibe coding my own thing. it's called Plugd, it's free, and it runs the actual forscan through wine. you hit set up once, plug in your usb adapter, open forscan, done
tested it on my car, reading and changing settings both work. i also threw in a live dashboard and a quick engine code check because why not
you need an apple silicon mac and a usb obd adapter. bluetooth ones won't work
only tried it on my own car so far, so if anyone tests it let me know what car/adapter you have and if it worked
This weekend, I did an out-and-back round trip of about 270 miles on I-10 in my 2025 Nautilus that, according to the official BlueCruise map, should've been hands-free Blue Zones nearly 90% of the way. In reality, it was hands-free maybe 0.5% of the way. This was daytime driving in beautiful weather in clearly marked lanes with minimal roadwork/construction zones. What gives? Appreciate any advice and suggestions.

Hi there,
Anyone run into this and knows what I can possibly do?
I really need to replace the brakes, but obviously don't want to break anything.
Got it used in 2022 and have never changed the back ones.
I appreciate any help.

Hello everyone, I'm considering buying a used 2022 Ford Explorer 3.0 Plug-in Hybrid Platinum (I am in Europe, and I am more interested in a luxury trim). What are the advantages and disadvantages? Also, what service maintenance should I expect from the 2022 model with about 60 thousand km (about 40 thousand miles) and 140 thousand km (about 87 thousand miles)? Also, if the conditions are approximately the same, is it worth paying 15 thousand euros more for the one with less mileage (37k vs about 20k)? Thank you so much for your answers.

Hey guys, I have a 2017 Ford Explorer with the 3.5L EcoBoost. It's currently at 90k miles and the oil was last changed at 87k. I bought it back at 60k miles, but honestly, I never checked the coolant level back then so I have no baseline.
I just noticed the coolant is low, and knowing these engines, I'm a bit paranoid about the internal water pump failing. I'm attaching pictures of the coolant level and the oil on the dipstick. I know coolant in the oil makes it look like chocolate milk, but I really can't tell if mine looks contaminated or just normal for 3k miles of use.
Does this oil look milky to you, and given the low coolant, should I be worried the water pump is on its way out?
I figure I'll fill it to base and just check it once a week for the next month or so.
Side note: I just replaced the starter and drive belt, the transverse mounted motor is....fun to get my hands into, lol.

Where is the location of the fuse for the rear sliding window for a 2011 lariat? I keep getting different search results and donβt have a lot of extra time. Fuse keeps blowing & I think it may be too small.

Trying to decide for a 2nd car. Get me to work run errands. Wanting 4wd or awd. But I have saved a nice 2010 ford escape with around 90,000 miles and 2 rangers 2002, 2003 with any where from 115,000-150,000 miles. Prices is about the same for everthing. I dont really need a "truck" as I already have a farm truck but I kind of like the idea on the 1 or 2 things saving a little money on gas that I could use a ranger for. What are some reasons to go with one over the other?

Is it normal to have recalls and then have the dealer decide they not need repaired?
This week I took my β26 F150 & β17 Mustang GT to the dealer for recalls. I bought the truck last month and got a recall notice for the fuel tank strap maybe two weeks later. The mustang has had two recalls that were probably 2-3 years old atp. One for the βFront Seat Belt Anchor Pre-tensioner Cablesβ the other for the rear view camera image (which imo should have qualified for the repair because the quality is shit.)
I brought them in on separate days, the truck was ready after 30 minutes but was quoted an hour on it (probably because itβs new new)
When I dropped the Mustang off they said it was likely not going to be ready until the next day due to the recalls it had. But then after only two hours I received an inspection report saying it needed a new oil pan and oil change paired with a heavy estimate of course, but that the recalls did not need repaired.
Idk Iβm just apprehensive because in the past when I had recalls on my non ford vehicles the dealers did the remedies just because the vins were included so I thought that was standard practice?
The theme of the show is Old vs. New

I mean it's close enough to the real car LOL. I recently found it at my local Dollar General and I was really intrigued when my dad showed it to me. I was like yes I want that.
A long time ago I even got a 1970 Ford Bronco Matchbox from one of my teachers before I graduated Middle School.
Showing these two side by side shows how we came a long way.

This is my first ever truck, currently has 77k miles with the 5.0
Im looking to do some mods on it but unsure what kind.
Ive been looking into a lift/ levle kit to put a slightly bigger tire on it, and maybe a tune to remove the rev limiter
If anyone has suggestions I'd love to hear them
