Hello Mustang Mach-E owners,
I wanted to provide an update on the SYNC rebooting issue. The team appreciates everyone that reached out and provided VINs and helped with troubleshooting. It's played a part in helping to find this solution and we appreciate it.
After investigating with the team, it's turned out to be an issue on the backend with third-party data that was triggering those unexpected SYNC 4 reboots.
Because of this, we want to clarify: This wasnât an issue with a Ford OTA. I know a lot of folks will defensively toggle off automatic updates when they see a bug reported. If you turned your automatic updates off just in case, make sure you go in and turn them back on!
That data-related issue is now resolved on our end.
Next steps for your Mach-E: If your screen is still acting up or stuck in a reboot loop, you likely just need to force a manual SYNC reset to clear things out and let it pull the fix.
How to reset: The quickest way to do this is to hold down the Volume Down and Right Seek buttons on your steering wheel at the same time for about 10 seconds until the screen goes black and the Pony appears. (If you need the official step-by-step visual guide, you can find that here)
One quick heads-up: While the reboots themselves should be cured, you might still experience some intermittent hiccups with Connected Navigation services. We are actively working with our supplier to get those fully restored as well, so hang tight on that front.
We appreciate your patience as we work to get this resolved.
Have a great weekend! âĄď¸

Many of you know me from helping with vehicle issues and answering questions in this community, today I wanted to introduce you to u/RileyFromFord who has newly joined the team and is going to be on Reddit regularly.
We can't show you what our mid-size electric truck looks like...yet. But we can confirm the name: Ford Fathom, the first vehicle produced on the new Universal Electric Vehicle Platform.

âFathom" traces back to a nautical unit of measurement, originally defined as the distance between a person's outstretched arms, a fitting metaphor for a truck built to meet people wherever they are in life.â Fitting, right?
What's confirmed right now:
What we canât share yet: final imagery, fuller specs, full ordering details, and plenty more are still to come. A hot tip - keep a keen eye on the flipbook video we have going aroundâŚ
If you want to stay up to date with what we have planned for Fathom, you can sign up here.
Ask us anything, and we'll answer what we can. Riley & I will be in the comments for the next few hours, and we aren't going anywhere after that either.

Wife gave the stamp of approval to move on from our old forester. Iâve been looking at getting a used machE but had a few questions I was hoping could be answered and help my process.
We live in Ohio, so wondering how the MachE has handled in the winter for those of you who live in colder areas?
For those that had an at home charger put in, how was that process? Trying to build that in to the cost of purchase as well.
Any regrets that you have since purchasing or things you wish you wouldâve done different?
Thanks for all your help!

I bought a used 2025 a little over a month ago and blue cruise has worked ever since I bought it. In the app, the only option I can find is to pay for more blue cruise. Is there any way to see how much time is left on the current plan? I am assuming the first ower paid for a certain amount of time upfront and it rolled over to me, but i can't find any info on it.
Had it in to get the winter tires on, and they said it rolled back with the door open and bent it forward. I could cry.

I just had the work done for CSP 26B07. Now the instrument cluster constantly shows this ugly little graphic with the blue square thatâs not even centered, regardless of which driving mode, Iâm in.
Did this happen to anyone else? Is there a way to restore the original instr cluster displays?

I bought a lease return 23 GT a few months ago and Iâm trying to figure out if it has Magnaride suspension or not. My research says no and that only the PE version got it in that year, but I do notice a change in the stiffness of the ride when I switch from Whisper to Unbridled. Does that mean it has Magnaride? Or should the stiffness change with the non-Magnaride? Is there another way to check? I presume you can look at the struts and see if thereâs an electrical connection, but thatâs easier said than done. Maybe a way to check in the software?

I got a great deal on a 2023 Premium with less than 24k miles on it! This thing is great! I traded in my Ford Lightning for it because we no longer needed the larger vehicle.

I have a 2026 Mach-E Premium that didnât come with a tire repair kit. Does anyone know if the OEM kits from 2021â2024 are compatible with the 2026 model? Or is there a different part number I should look for?
Someone decided to hit my car in the middle of the night and now I am looking at getting this fixed. Insurance can cover it all but the guy tried to convince me to let him pay cash. Anyone have any guess as to how much it's going to cost? Both front and rear door pretty badly dented and scratched.

Considering a certified 2024 Mustang Mach-E Select AWD Extended Range lease return from a reputable Ford dealer in Phoenix:
28,000 miles
About $30,000 plus tax, title, and registration
In-service date: July 1, 2024
Battery SOH on the inspection sheet: 90%
An out-of-state Ford dealer has the same year and configuration with 8,000 miles and the same in-service date. The salesman sent me its inspection report showing 96% SOH.
Whatâs a normal drop at this age and mileage? I assume degradation isnât linear.
How reliable are these inspection readings, and would you request additional testing on the one showing 90%?
Iâve read that 70% is the capacity threshold for Fordâs eight-year/100,000-mile battery warranty. Iâd appreciate learning how that works in practice and what other owners are seeing.
Extended warranty: The dealer wanted $4,250 for its âbestâ Ford warranty up to 100,000 miles. I negotiated it down to $3,750.
I can read the brochure, but Iâm interested in actual claims experiences. Have you encountered the dreaded âthat particular little part isnât coveredâ?
Iâm open to purchasing the warranty now or waiting until next summer. I assume the price could increase. What would you do?
Iâve previously leased an EV6, EV9, Tesla, and 4xe, knowing from day one that Iâd return or trade them. This is a price point where Iâd consider keeping the vehicle long term.
Iâm seeing more inventory and falling asking prices, so Iâm also open to waiting a few months.
Appreciate hearing othersâ experiences and thoughts.
Thank you!

Just picked up today, 2023 Mach E GT Performance in Cyber Orange, 28k on the odometer. Will be my new daily to complement my weekend car, a supercharged 2018 Mustang GT.
The dealer dropped the car off at my work, and the ride home was a blast. The instant acceleration and AWD launches were super impressive. Scheduling an install for the 240V outlet so I can make use of the level 2 charger, because I know im going to be using up that battery life quick!

I got into my car today for the first time in a week (Iâve been sick) and when I backed out of the driveway, the cross traffic alert sound was obnoxiously loud and different sounding (and I wasnât even near the end end of my driveway). And the same when I pulled into a parking space and it thought I was coming close to the front curb (I wasnât đ).
I know there were was a software update but it seems that
1) the alerts are overbearingly loud
2) the sensors are extra sensitive now
Anyone else experiencing this?
(Iâll have to look and see if thereâs a way to change the sound level tomorrow)
Hey everyone! I am new to the Mach-E community. Just purchased a 2023 GT PE with the Nite Pony pack last week. Drove about an hour away to pick it up, Iâm absolutely in love. It only had 24k miles on it, was a lease return. Iâm coming from a 2021 VW ID4 that was unfortunately totaled. Thanks for having me, pics below.
This popped up when I loaded my Ford app today. "Software Update 13" was applied successfully yesterday...not sure what this was as there is nothing else in the app about it. Almost reads like a whole new update will have to come from Ford. Anyone else seen something like this yet? 25' Premium ER AWD

One of the favorite features of my Model 3 is the ability to crack the windows open about an inch to let the interior cool off on a hot day. I can literally do this anywhere in the world from the Tesla app. I read for the Mach-E, it has this function, but only when itâs in range of Bluetooth.
Is remote capability enabled with a paid connectivity subscription, or is it just over Bluetooth period? â26 Select.

First-time car buyer! Bought a 23' Mach-E Premium AWD! At 27 I finally found a job working in the environment for my local county and moved into a dream 3-bedroom apartment w/ my girlfriend, thought this was to complete the "adult" cycle. As soon as I saw the color I absolutely could not let this slip by. 0 Down, 29K OTD, 51K miles! SO EXCITED TO BE HERE! If anyone has any tips or recommendations please leave them below!

Has anyone gotten this? Is an easy fix? I don't feel like spending $200 for a diagnostic just for them to tell me my sensor was dirty.
