❓Question Why, Ford?
Both of my other vehicles that aren’t from Ford can do a memory seat recall while in drive with no issue. Is there a Forscan edit to disable this? 2026 Premium if it makes any difference.

After BlueCruise expires, what happens when you push the cruise control button?
Ford wants way too much $$$ for BlueCruise.

Thank you for letting me post.
My partner loves this car and wants to get it. Just safety questions, if you have the time, it is greatly appreciated! I'm not hugely educated on this. I think this car is safe but I don't want AI to tell me that I want actual people who have had this car.
Carseat/capsule:
We just brought the: Zummi Monaco 4-Wheel Travel System: it contains a capsule/new-born carseat. In the manual it warns more than once about rear airbags going off which could causes severe injury or worse. Are they rear ones and or are they curtain ones? I've read curtain ones are safe.
ISOFIX:
We also have the ISOFIX base. "The Zummi i-Size Base attaches quickly and securely to your vehicle's ISOFIX connectors. Install the Zummi Base using your car's ISOFix attachments. Colour indicators confirm correct installation of the base to the vehicle, and the car seat to the ISOFix base. The adjustable support leg stores neatly under the base when not in use, while the quick release button makes it easy to move your child's car seat between cars. Compatible with the Zummi Monaco Capsule (sold seperately with the Zummi Monaco 4-Wheel Travel System 6923712)."
We would change carseat products once once baby is 6 months.
Do you think this car would be a good fit for the baby once he is here?
Would love to here your experiences with children and this car.
Thank you so much, any reply is again, much appreciated.
Kind Regards

It was really weird. The app came up but wouldn't display anything. I stopped it restarted it. Cleared cache. Restarted my phone. But it wouldn't work at like 1am eastern time last night.
Then this morning it worked fine.
I have a 2018 Mustang GT premium with all the bells and whistles and only 33k on the clock that I'm considering trading in for a 2024 Mach-E GT. Surprisingly my Mustang seems to be somewhat of an "in demand" vehicle, so I can get a nice price for it on trade-in. I found an awesome 2024 Mach-E GT for a great price a few hours away from me, and trade-in considered the difference I would have to pay would only be about 7k including taxes. Mind you the Mach-E has less than 10k miles and seems to be in perfect shape and has all the options I would want (except it doesn't have the performance upgrade or the nicer wheels).
I'm on the fence - I've had my eye on the Mach-E for a while, and it almost seems like a no-brainer. I love my Mustang but I never really bonded with it like I did my previous sports cars. It also has a very harsh ride (no magnaride), and the shifts aren't exactly buttery smooth (it's an auto). The Mach-E is also much more practical and easier to get in and out of (I'm no spring chicken anymore!) I will miss the noise it makes though!
I honestly wouldn't drive the Mach-E very much, as I work from home, and I'm a little worried that letting it sit for days at a time will reek havoc on the 12v battery that I've heard so many complaints about. I do already have a level 2 charger installed in my garage that isn't being utilized, so charging isn't an issue.
Tell me, what would you do?

After a recent software update on my 2025 Ford Mach E Premium, I noticed my BlueCruise was no longer enabled. It seems to be tied to the Software Update 13 - Connectivity
TCU-26.2.12.2.1 that was pushed to my system. I found out that reason why and how to fix it - it turned off a setting required to work - Connected Navigation. So I turned it back on and then it started working again. Posting in case others have this issue after the latest round of software updates.
Go to Settings > Connectivity > Connected Vehicle Features.
• Ensure Connected Navigation is turned ON.

I parked under a tree at work and when I got back to it, it was COVERED in those boxelder bugs. I blew as many off as I could with my leaf blower, and noticed that when I opened my door there were also some in the doorframe, which essentially was an entry way into the car. I got most of those out, and only saw one or two fly in-but it’s now a week later and I’m still flicking 4-5 out a day. Im convinced more are getting in somehow, but all the doorframes are empty. Am I crazy?

Hey all, just got a new grizzl e classic connect unit installed. (Not hardwired but a 14-50 NEMA EV receptacle)
Plug it in started charging right away. Said great. Left it on for 2 mins. Unplugged. Figured I’d charge later overnight.
Went to charge again and all the lights are normal on the charge box. But the mach e charge light is blinking white. Like it won’t accept the charge from the charger.
Any ideas ?
I took my '22 Mach E in for the software update that addresses the "kids locked in the car if 12v battery dies" recall. After having it for a few hours, they called stating that the 12v battery state of health was at 41% and therefore they were unable to complete the recall work. They offered to replace the battery for over $600. I asked if they could put a 12v charger on the car to complete the work. They said that they'd done that, but that something was wrong with the battery and that they couldn't install the software.
Has anyone had this experience? Is the dealer conflating state of charge and state of health?
The battery is coming up on 4 years old, so it could be due for replacement, but I'm struggling to understand why they couldn't do the software update with a 12v charger running in parallel with the allegedly bad battery. No other symptoms of bad 12v battery, FWIW.

Ford sent me an email offering a special price on an extended warranty beyond my basic 60000 km/3 years. I've had the vehicle 2 years and have 31000kms.
What is a good price for and extended warranty, I have it for 5 years lease total, so 2 down and 3 years to go. That means the extended warranty for me would be for the 4th and 5th year.
What have other people paid for the extended bumper to bumper warranty? Can you add this to your lease payment?
Thanks
