Couple of vehicles from Department of Homeland Security just possible on Van Brunt and Verona streets in Red Hook. Possible ICE activity.

I usually keep my windows open especially during the cooler season, and at least once (usually more than once) per day I'll hear someone walk by outside either on the phone or often just by themselves (no earbuds in) just sounding mad. Cursing randomly, just talking so angry and aggressive. Other times (for instance, last night) I'll be walking alone and someone nearby will just make a random yelp or hoodyhoo sound, I'll look around and there will be no one in sight. Why are so many people like this in Brooklyn (I'm in Bedstuy)

Hey, I'm planning on going to a concert at Barclays Center and wanna buy a cheap ticket in the 200s, but don't really wanna stay there the entire time. I've been able to sneak to the lower sections and first bowl at other venues while having a ticket in the 200s. I know there's sometimes security checking tickets for the lower sections, and obviously for the floor. I've never been to Barclays before for a concert, so I'm not sure how possible this is. Thank you!

Anybody been to the “Haunted Hotel” running at the LeFrak center this month? Or otherwise to the harvest festival activities set up around it? Considering buying tickets with friends but have heard nothing about quality. We’re in our late 20s and looking for something comparable to a Six Flags haunted house, without the trouble of driving out to Six Flags. Thanks!

I had a summons for jury duty today. I went and went through the jury selection process for a case. That selection process took us until about 5:15 pm after jury duty hours. The judge says we’re not selected for the case. Since it was past 5pm I left but now I see I still have my jury served card but no one ever signed it.

Is my jury duty over? Do I need to go back tomorrow to get it signed? When i asked the security guard about it he said it wasnt a big deal.

LOST DOG! Hi all. Around 640am this morning on my way to work there was a loose dog on Rogers and Lincoln. It was dark so some of my details may be wrong but the dog appeared to be a pitbull or a pitbull mix, gray fur, and may have been wearing a blue harness. No owner in sight. Seemed very scared and got a tad aggressive when I tried to approach or even encourage him to come. I didn’t want to leave since he was on such a busy road but I had to because of work. I called 311 who directed me to the 911/NYPD. I gave them all of the info mentioned above. Have never been in this situation before so I hope this was the right way to go about it. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay until they came… I hope the owner can be found!!
