I understand that some runners might want to carve out their own space — but running IN A BIKE LANE is asinine. Why do I need to start yelling to get your attention, you don’t hear me because your headphones are too loud, and then I need to swerve into oncoming traffic behind me in a bike lane that is not isolated from said traffic in any way, just to get around you? There’s an icon of a bike on the ground for a reason. Please, let’s be a bit more rational.

A couple of months ago, he had to be asked to leave a bodega because he wouldn’t leave us alone (we took this picture that night).

Today, he approached me again on the street, repeatedly telling me I looked like a model and inviting me to a Halloween party. He kept trying to show me pictures of his house on his phone.

When I told him he was making me uncomfortable, asked him to stop following me, and made it clear that I had no interest in attending his party, he continued following me and persistently tried to get me to take his “business card,” saying that he “wanted people like me at his parties.”

I’m curious whether anyone else in the area has had a similar experience with him.

Last night while standing outside Safehouse I noticed a cloud that was blinking with diffuse light. I showed a friend and started filming. When the clouds cleared a bit it the light appeared as individual points glittering. Zoom in to see more clearly. I have another vid but can only post one at a time - will follow up later. Carlo was trapped a few months ago when he was living on the street behind the building in one of the parks in Brooklyn, NY. He is a little shy, so he would be ok as a single cat with someone who works from home or has other cats, if the person introduces them properly (which our rescue team can help with :)). Right now, Carlo enjoys having his brother around - Salem - at his foster home in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. He's very playful, docile, full of life, and the sweetest cat ever. He's neutered, vaccinated, and healthy. Carlo is a BOY... just in case the name is not clear. Anyone in the neighbor know where I can go to play some ping pong games? I play at an intermediate (I think) level and I’d like to find somewhere to play on the weekends / evenings

Experienced this guy a few times in the last couple months. First time he was across the street, sprinted across the street when he saw me and ran right behind me yelling things. Tonight he did the same thing while I was on the phone, ran across the street to me screaming at me and then yelled at another man near me asking what I “said about him”. Saw him again later and he was bothering a girl saying something about wanting to know where she was later. She ignored him then he stopped when he saw me and was saying a bunch of gross things about “bending you over”. Asked my male friend to buy him a shot and bring it outside because he’s banned from the bar. Wondering if anyone knows who he is because it’s starting to get scary at this point. I don’t scare easily and have been in the city for awhile and it seems like he’s of sound mind enough to know which bars he’s banned from yet is following/screaming/harassing women.

Note to other women who encounter him, usually ignoring him works after a couple minutes but also try ducking into one of the many bars he’s apparently banned from.

First post on Reddit. I have a fancy ebike/moped with an app that sends a push notification and it notified me that someone moved my moped. I ran outside and saw this shirtless guy with a van that was still on. It was 10p. I stared him, he saw me and he walked back into his van. The app is very accurate and you need to move it quite a bit to trigger the notification. The moped weights almost 200lbs so there’s no way one man can lift it because of its shape (I can deadlift more than 320lbs). Anyway, I’ve moved it but beware of the van. I’m sure he’ll be back and there’s fancier motorcycles than mine out there.
