I'm having to work a lot these days and that generally involves working evenings a few days a week. As a coffee addict I sometimes go to Moka & Co. but I just find the music (and for some reason the people) are louder than any other cafe so I can't focus. Not knocking that, I just prefer a quieter place.

As the title suggests, my friend and I will be hosting horror movie trivia tomorrow night (Wednesday 10/14) at Doppelgänger in Clinton Hill. Starts 8pm.

There will be prizes from each of tomorrow night's sponsors: tickets for Brooklyn Horror Film Festival, to tour the haunted Ridgewood Asylum, or books from Die Die Books.

It's not an easy job keeping the industrial part of the neighborhood clean but one of the things that helps is being able to reach out directly to DSNY regarding problems and having them taken care of in 24-48 hours.

I love going to the farmer’s market on Saturdays, but I’m wondering if the price of the produce is generally more affordable and Trader Joes?

Obviously there is a different in quality, but I’m wondering if it is as affordable as TJ and do people solely buy all their produce from the farmer’s market? Lmk your thoughts.
