“Mid OC”: Braylon Edwards Blames Brian Schottenheimer for Jets’ ‘Terrible Back-to-Back AFC Championship Games’

The Obvious Issue w/Jets Is Offensive Playcalling
When there was so much talk about all of the stud TE on the team coming into the year why do they never throw over the middle except to get a receiver killed?
The offensive scheme is the obvious issue here. They have the personnel to be running 2 TE 2 WR and 2 RB sets to draw the defense all over the field and open up the pass and run game and we never see geno throwing anywhere except to the check and the sidelines every game. The team is built to be physical up the middle and fast on the outside and never leverages their TE in a way that would open up the game.
This is a major indictment of Reich, there are so many other OCs that could be putting up 30 a game with this team.
They’re so close to being good it’s painful, I honestly love Aaron Glenn, he’s the funniest HC out there and the team is in every game except the Bears, the offense keeps letting us down.
Place the blame where it belongs and leave AG alone!

Anyone else notice a different Geno from Game 1 to now?
it seems he can't throw the ball more than 10-15 yards in the air.
Even the TD pass barely made it.
IDK if he's injured or maybe they're just not drawing up plays to stretch the field.

Week 6: 2027 Draft Recap - Colts Lose, Cowboys Lose, Packers Win
In the 2027 draft the Jets have 3 first round picks: their own pick, the Colts’ pick, and the better pick of the Cowboys/Packers.
The huge news of the day was the Titans putting up 20 fourth quarter points to come back and stun the Colts in Indianapolis. This was massive for the Jets as this looked like a sure fire win for the Colts on their schedule. As a side note, the Titans picking up their first win was also good for the Jets, as it has them off the list of winless teams and climbing up the draft board.
Someone had to win when the Cowboys played the Packers, and the Packers dominated to pick up the win. The Cowboys continue to slide.
So at the end of Week 6, the Jets currently have the following first round picks:
#6 Overall (Cowboys’ pick)
#9 Overall (Colts’ pick)
#13 Overall (Jets’ pick)

Incorrect spot after Pats penalty in 3Q
Anybody else notice in the 3Q at about 14:00, Maye runs for a 1st down to the Jets 45. The following play, they are called for 10 yd holding penalty. The Jets accept and it’s 1st and 20. This is at 13:26 3Q.
The ball should be placed at NE 45 yard line, but the refs place it at the NE 48. You can clearly see the chains, and they are correct, showing Jets 35 line to gain for a first down. But Pats essentially got a first and 17, instead of 1st and 20. WTF?

Convince me Mougey Should stay after AG is fired this offseason.
After these past few games it is clear that AG needs to be a goner after this season. (If you think otherwise you simply don't understand this league). He simply doesn't have what it takes to coach an NFL team. Sure. The team is moving the ball and the defense is making stops. But it all falls apart when it matters most and that falls directly on AG. His situational awareness is nonexistent which is evident by the new stat that is being shared (AG outscored 100-6 in the final 2 minutes of all games).
Now for the difficult question... does Mougey deserve a shot with a competent HC (im thinking Tomlin, McDermott or similar, we will have to see who is available after the season obviously). Sure Mougey has loaded us with picks but has he done enough with the picks he has used to warrant another chance? Convince me one way or the other.
