Ive finnished the lions route and had to draw this. I really enjoyed them!

Every time I bring this up someone is surprised, but Cai’s mount feedings are daily, not weekly. You can max most bonds in about 2 weeks if you happen to have the right food.(Peter even tells you this in the feeding tutorial).

Realistically due to Cai’s limited map you probably will have a ton of free time anyways. Auto activiting a day and feeding in between is a really good use of early time in Cai’s campaign to maximize mount leveling benefits.

Here is Sothis' family tree as of Fortune's Weave! I love the Greco-Roman influence on the Dagdan pantheon and wanted to try to map out the mess.

Let me know if I missed anything or made a mistake! As you can see, it's very convoluted. (I know I missed at least one adoption relation. See the notes). If the other parent isn't named, I excluded them from this.

Some notes and follow-up ideas. Also, content warning: SA

• Jurah isn't a founder, so how did she come into existence? Is she Dagda's daughter and wife? Maybe a cousin from one of the other Founders?
  • UPDATE: If the Spanish translation is correct, it seems that Jurah is both child and wife of Dagda.
• It is heavily implied that Dagda raped Yu Phas, who then gave birth to Aurora. Aurora knows — or at the very least, believes — Solel is not her biological father, but he obviously is the father she cares for.
  • HOWEVER, this is not confirmed. This post has evidence, but we likely won't truly know until the DLC. I am just an adherent of this hypothesis, so I included it.
• Speaking of Solel — could Eshmel fit into this family tree as his reincarnation lol? I couldn't decide, so I excluded them. Same goes for Orchel and Yu Phas, I guess.
• Vandahl is 1/2 god, but his parentage is unknown. That means he and Mahna are likely cousins. That also makes Talimun 3/4 god. Same goes for Lind.
  • UPDATE: It seems that Dagda is likely the father of Vandahl.
• Fianna has some sort of connection to Gilchris and was likely named Fatima. Possibly a sister, cousin, or childhood love? Either way, Fianna was likely removed by Martila/Mahna/Maria to make Gilchris more susceptible to her influence.
  • Also, I forgot to note that Mahna is Gilchris' stepmother.
• Regarding the Fodlan side of things, I'm hypothesizing that Seiros is the daughter of the simulacrum and founder of that continent, which kinda parallels Byleth and their mother (i.e., being the child of a vessel).
  • I also think this mural could be a representation of the simulacrum rather than Sothis herself.
  • I've seen people say Seiros is a founder and ehhh I don't really see it. She only has one crest and seems significantly weaker than Dagda and Balor.
  • Also, where do the Nabateans of Zanado fit into this? As well as Nomved and Ninae?

Someone in Twitter posted (lost the post refreshing My bad) about founders like Dagda and Balor who posess 3 crest are ones that are in numerical order in the tarot interpretatión of them. With that in mind the posible combinations of the crest will go like this:

This intrigues me enough to theorize and wonder what kind of characters are the other remaining childs of Sothis we have not met or if Rhea could be retconed to be a founder too.

Now starting the parties of the all the lords! We are skipping over the imaginary 5th Dietrich unit and going into the 5th Anatolia unit. Will finally have a base game party member tomorrow with Lysander.

Since Dadao is part of a DLC lord group, if the upcoming DLC is full part 1s then I'll redo the discussion when the DLC comes out.

So current discussion order plan is: Ninae -> Dadao -> Lysander -> Ludia -> Olympia -> Goliath.

Dadao is a young man who accompanies the Mystical Bride, Anatolia. He’s rowdy and was something of a problem child back in his hometown. Loves women and mindlessly hits on them, but always gets rejected. When Anatolia and her group initially set out for Dagsion, he joined them without asking or telling anyone in the village.

finished fortunes weave at 137hrs and genuinely cant wait for their dlc

I made this possible connection after a post mentioning that Black Magic doesn't scale into part 3 and falls behind upgraded Salamanders and Levin Swords.

I noticed that when playing Anatolia as a guest unit, her spell Wondering Wall (Which is Black Magic) has a range of 3, while Sha Lan's version of the same spell only has a range of 1.

There is nothing in the flavour text or in Anatolia's skills to suggest why she has the increased range. She just flat out has a better version of the same spell.

It got me to thinking, that maybe Anatolia gets magic upgrades as a mirror to how Dietrich gets Combat Art upgrades. Possibly even using the same resource.

Maybe even having it so Anatolia can teach certain spells to other units, like Dietrich's secret arts.

I don't think White Magic would be upgradable though. Perhaps teachable though.

I’m an idiot, and on the last map I had to restart as I was completely out of heals and was just in terrible positioning, and selected restart section by accident. Now I have to do all my prep work for the last two battles, and redo the second to last one again. I know, I’m an idiot, but it’s frustrating. Wish I could use some causality to undo this stupid mistake

When I first heard this, I reminisced on the entire 160 hour+ journey with such an incredible cast, and no video on YouTube yet has captured that feeling, till this one

Fortunes Weave might have the best OST of all the Fire Emblem, and this particular one was amazing - never has a final map music made me this surprised and hyped - When I first heard Cai's theme and all the other lords following that in one epic final medley!

Obviously Seteth makes it, and any of the other Nabateans (or mechanical Nabateans, hypothetically) who live through the game presumably could as well.... but who else? I haven't seen anything that explicitly confirms or denies Ninae as Nabatean yet but it sure seems like it, so maybe her too.

Fabio seems likely, Agarthans seem to be ageless. By a similar token, Anatolia/Troy/Nezha/Eshmel should be functionally immortal, right?

Whatever's up with Ursula seems to suggest she could still be kicking around by then, too.

Then there's the part Nabateans, who I don't feel like we have a great sense of. I think at one point Aurora says Cai has about 500 years, but I might be remembering that wrong? So he's probably off the board by 3H and presumably so is Leda, who's several generations further removed from Kalla. But Talimund is one generation closer to the Founders* than Cai is, so he could theoretically still be kicking around.

\Unless we assume certain implied but unconfirmed possibilities about Aurora's parentage as facts.*

And obviously Guzran is unkillable, so presumably he's fine.

Anybody else feel like a likely threat to make an appearance/cameo in a future posts-3H Fodlan game, were such a thing to exist?

So there's this guy named Suarez that Catania randomly namedrop twice. Here in Dagsion, mentioning he's recently deceased in a pretty high-key way, and in her support with Lysander, saying he was a survivor of Cydonia that REALLY hated Bertrand

So with those two informations together, it'd make sense that Suarez tried to murk Bertrand publicly and got cut down as the result, and it have to happen during the span of the game, given Catania speak of him as someone that died just earlier

HAPPY ONE MONTH SINCE LAUNCH (kinda)

Since I did this last time when Engage rolled around I just want to share some stats here

Fortune’s Weave has 472 fics as of today. Top 5 ships are as follows:

1) Dietrich/Fabio: 105
2) Leda/Olympia: 45
3) Dietrich/Esmeralda: 19
4) Cai/Tialla: 14
5) Natha/Creek: 10

For a quick comparison, Three Houses had around 1,103 fics by August 26, 2019, one month after the July release. Sadly some authors will delete old fics over time so we don’t know the exact number unless someone has a screenshot of that timeframe. Top 5 were

1) Dimitri/Byleth: 147
2) Claude/Byleth: 114
3) Edelgard/Byleth: 95
4) Sylvain/Felix: 90
5) Hubert/Ferdinand: 32

One month after Engage released it had 371 fics. Top 5 was:

3) Diamant/Griss: 16 (the whole tag is made up of two authors)

Unlike FW and 3H, Engage had fics that were way more spread out and less focused on ships. As a result a handful of authors can more or less have a monopoly on a ship’s tag and really pump up the numbers.

Right now the most written ship for Engage is Alear/Veyle (total of 164 fics, 79 are written by one author) for pretty much that reason

PSA: Learn from my mistakes.

I love this game but the way it handles some things is absolutely asinine. I'll try to keep my thoughts concise so people can understand and avoid making the same mistakes I did, especially for those that love to

1. I lost my mounts.

• Inspired Discouraged by this thread, this Serene Forest post, and this one, I really wanted to make sure I kept all my mounts going into part 3 and did the following:
  • Played through Part 2 as Cai normally for accomplishments sake (here, I had my good mounts equipped to my units).
  • Re-did Part 2 up to Chapter 4 and skipped to get higher leveled units (importantly, here I removed 2 of my best mounts manipulate growth rates for the War Phase-skip level ups).
• With how inventory and unit snapshots worked, I ended up with a scenario where my good mounts did not carry over. This is likely because:
  • The game took a snapshot of my first Cai Part 2 Chapter 6 clear inventory.
  • It then took a snapshot of my units from my second Cai Part 2 clear (without mounts equipped).
  • I then started Part 3 with the above snapshots and recruited everyone, so I started with my 1st clear inventory (without the mounts in my inventory) and my 2nd clear units (without the mounts equipped).
• 2. I lost my Karma Shards
  • I had a newer Esmeralda but had to choose between better stats, or better skill levels and abilities from my first Dietrich route. It turns out we can spend 300 Karma Points to get the best of both worlds, yay!. So I decided to merge a bunch of my characters.
    • But then I thought, "hmm I think I want to redo this chapter so I can Master Seal someone else."
  • I redo the chapter and the game autosaves.
  • I lose my Karma Shards.
  • I have NSO, so I was able to restore my file, but could you imagine someone doing this and not having/using manual cloud saves?
• 3. Bonus: I did not get to upgrade Answerer.
  • Dietrich was my first route and like several people, I missed a lot.
  • I decided to replay Chapter 12 to get the Answerer upgrade and also replay Part 2 in the hopes of getting it into Part 3.
  • As described in the above linked posts, the game snapshots your first clears' inventories, so while I had my most recent Dietrich, I only had a regular Answerer.

Now all is not lost everyone. The game did store my mounts and Answerer Arisen in the Drifting Reliquary and can be repurchased for Karma Shards, but Karma Shards are a, to my knowledge, finite resource and I really wish they just applied your most recent clear of each characters' Part 1/2 going into Part 3. Granted, I'm sure we'll be swimming in Karma Shards post-DLC with the 4 new Flame Lord paths, but right now, this is absolutely devastating for me. I see no point in trying to re-play paths on my current save file to try out different units or train them differently since I likely will not even have enough Karma Shards by the end to reap the benefits and merge them by the end.

Did anyone want exclusive classes for the Flame Lords and Eshmel? Similar to High Lord, Emperor and Barbarossa in Three Houses?

Or were you all satisfied with Divine classes? Curious to hear thoughts!
