TellDelhi My andhbhakt Bua said that 'One Piece' means breaking the country.

My bua said that "Ye Neha Bora One piece ki tshirt pahen ke aayi jisse vo iss desh ke tukde kar sake"

I said One piece is a famous Anime and I don't even watch Anime but still know about this, She said "hoga famous but abhi isse countries ko unstable karne ka symbol banaya jaa rha hai"

She gave me various examples that "Nepal mein bhi one piece ki tshirts pehni thi and udhar dekh kya hua, ye log bhi one piece ke supporter hai and iss desh ko tod denge".

I am still speechless.

Delhi Metro This is what Delhi Metro will look like once every approved and proposed line is built

i've lived in most of the big metro cities in india and nothing comes close to delhi metro. everywhere else you have to plan how you're getting somewhere, autos, traffic, cab cancelling on you etc. in delhi i genuinely don't think about it, it's just metro

and apparently it's not just me, dmrc says 99.95% of trains were on time this year and they count a train late if it's even 59 seconds behind. that's better than new york and paris lol

anyway every map i found stopped at phase 5A so i put everything together. first pic is phase 4 + 5A + 5B + 5C + gurgaon line 2, noida aqua extensions and namo bharat. second pic is what's running right now

goes from ~440 km to ~1100 km which would be bigger than shanghai's metro today.
truly amazed by this network

made this if anyone wanna play around

Delhi Politics We need to show up tomorrow, it might be our last chance.

When you take a moment and look at what's truly going on its chilling, genuinely chilling, the fact that 63 Rajya Sabha members 130 lok sabah members have signed a notice for CEC resignation which was denied, the fact that the other 2 ECs have also raised complaints against him, the fact that this matter has been brought up for 2 years now.

Who works in our favour anymore? which institution is left? the fucking chief justice of india says, law isn't in his hands, delhi police is unaccountable and on the Nuremberg roll running a fucking pr campaign on instagram like some twtr microcelebrity after a scandal, the parents of a girl who was raped and murdered are sobbing as they're dragged away, and people are getting unlawfully detained with no consequences. The value of the rupee has fallen, the biggest donars of the bjp (ambanis) being adviced on indias foreign policies by Jeffrey fucking epstien, crimes against women have increased, pollution in delhi is worse, per capita income is a shitshow, hate speeches rised by 78%, (https://csohate.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/report-India-Hate-Lab-Report-Final-13.pdf?) (https://indiahatelab.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Hate-Speech-Events-in-India_Report_2024.pdf) communal violence increasing, freedom of press has dropped to 156 out of 180 countries, we haven't kept up with the ai or tech boom, our city infrastructure is shit, grads aren't getting jobs and people on subreddits are discussing if fucking non hindus should be allowed at garba.

I mean nothing is real anymore, and people aren't showing enthusiasm to evern TRY, to show up or protest, go look at the delhi subreddit.

I feel like im age regressing every time I talk to a RWr like man did you ever pass primary school?

I really thought at some point some day people will wake up and say "wow the gun is pointing at me", but I know of people whose parents passed due to government negligence during covid and they still haven't woken up.

You can't even say the rich are benefitting, they are not, they are loosing money and trying to send their children abroad because you can live in a fortress, but still smell the stench of piss across the road, they can talk about nationalism all they want, but they know despite having money they still don't have the quality of life people in other nations do, nobody here does, this government doesn't even benefit the 1%, it benefits the tiniest fraction of it.

Please please please show up tomorrow, the government has learnt, it will suppress any and all dissent if this dies down, we are already witnessing the worst of the worst these days, it's not funny anymore, you can not afford to clock out, you can not afford to let this moment go, it is not as casual as we're making it out to be, how many times will we be given the opportunity to show up togeather again, please show up tomorrow.

Ik tum Mai se aadhe se zyada log UPSE nahi de rahe, getting detained doesn't mean fuckall to you, so we need to show up.

It is now or never.

Before resigning yourself to "oh but what would a protest even do?" Remember that this nation was literally born out of one.

TellDelhi As a Delhi resident, I can definitely relate to this guy. Every time I’ve interacted with Delhi Police or Delhi Traffic Police, they act like they own the city or something. The way they talk to ordinary citizens is already so disrespectful. Imagine how they must be treating the protesters.

AskDelhi Roads to CP blocked, metro exits surrounded by Delhi Police and other security forces. Who is disrupting public life here?

Thumbnail x.com

So, they've parked dozens of buses on roads to stop people from getting into Central Park in CP. And then they say protesters disrupt businesses. They're afraid of us waving the national flag now too.

Why have they deployed over 32,000 security personnel in Delhi? Is there nowhere else they are actually needed? If only the BJPee had used even a quarter of this effort for some good in this country, we would not have been in this position today.

AskDelhi Why are you guys so Anti Dictators ?

Imagine if India was a Dictatorship
You could let 1% of people have most of the nation's wealth
You could help your rich friends get rich by cutting their taxes & bailing them out when they gamble and lose
You could ignore the needs of the poor for health care & education
Your media would appear free but secretly be controlled by one person and his family
You could wiretap phones, you could release foreign prisoners, you could have rigged elections
You could conceal military casualties, you could fill your prisons with anyone who dares to dissent & no one would complain
You could use the media to scare the people into supporting policies that are against their interests
I know this is hard for us to imagine as we are the "mother of democracy" but please try !!

AskDelhi Where can I learn MMA in Delhi? Had a little incident

• Upvotes

I have lived in Delhi till my 12th, moved away for college and job, and then again shifted back here. Right now I live in a rented flat in GGN on workdays and I come to my parents place in Delhi on weekends.

This happened a couple of months back. I was in the gym and by mistake I kicked down a guy’s water bottle and I didn’t notice that I did that. He had kept the bottle on the floor area meant to walk around and therefore I couldn’t see it. I had weights in my hands and earphones in my ears when he tapped on my shoulders and very rudely said “Dekh ke chal, tune meri bottle gira di” (Look where you are going, you toppled my bottle). I kept my weights and said with a calm tone “bhai sorry, galti se gir gai hogi but ye bottle rakhne ki jagha nhi hai, bottle vahan shelf pe rakho” (sorry brother, it must have happened by mistake but this is not the place to keep bottle, keep it on the shelf). He took this as an offence, puffed his chest out, came extremely close to me and started instigating me to escalate the issue.

I am 5’10” and well built, this guy was no more than 5’6” and very skinny. I could have escalated this without any fear but I dont like to fight. I believe its very childish.

But I realised that I could encounter some idiot some random day who wants to pick a fight for reasons that a 7 year old kid would pick and that guy might be strong enough to do some serious harm. I want to protect myself and my loved ones from that, specially now that I am back in Delhi. So, I have been thinking of joining some sort of martial arts classes for self defence in Delhi, preferably in West Delhi as I live in Paschim Vihar. Although, a little far off places work as well. My personal preference is MMA but other suggestions are welcomed.

Please comment suggestions to such classes that you know. Include the name, place and what they teach. Also, please share your martial arts journey in the comments if you feel like it. Thanks for reading!
