Lore Holy Gods of Order?
So I was discussing some alternative universe implications with someone an absolutely had to write them down.
If there was a truly evil emperor and his sons ‘betrayed’ him would that make them slowly turn ‘Good’? Yes they were monsters, but they slowly learn what being human is and turn away from the selfish emperor.
For the gods they wouldn’t change that much probably.
Nurgle would probably become some sort of harvest god who cages an evil elder god, thus why he appears the oldest. He’s using the majority of his power to seal her within his realm. That also make some interesting views of Eldar, rather then travelling around on craftworlds they would gain this mystical status of appearing a rescuing worlds like a raiding party, flipping dark Eldar as well.
Slaanesh should be artwork and music still but could also be abstract works like hope. Perfect for an almost knight like design. A ‘princesses’ raises up orders of knights to her ideals. Sure they’re idealistic but they train to such an insane degree they seem almost mad.
Khorne rather then being some creature he’s the most ‘human’ god looking like a regular man. When he or his followers appears they would act like a general then a warmonger. Extreme control and martial prowess. Police and security would worship him to the same degree as military.
Tzeentch is a rather strange case. Would they take a scholar type role, collecting knowledge to be shared? Or a court mage, helping the forces with strange powers.
I’ve attached a pic on what their ‘Demons’ would look like. Rather then the Emperor’s twisted human like design they would be the farther thing from human but look almost holy in design. A spirit you could say, not Good in a traditional sense but absolutely not evil. Maybe have them struggle understanding human wishes.
I’ll discuss the Primarchs in a different post. They deserve their own section

Hobby Store Founding Challenge
My local store founding is coming up soon and my friends visited today to get their cards stamped. The manager wouldn’t stamp their cards completely because “additional units must have 5 or more models” one of them had two characters as their additional units, he’s a world eaters player. My other friend plays knights, he brought 5 knights. Only two were the small ones (armigers maybe?). Tell me how the FUCK that makes sense. The world eaters player has bezerkers he can paint but what is my knight friend supposed to do? He was told to start another army. Wtf James Workshop

My 1st warhammer mini, always wanted to get into collecting but was too scared to paint but finally decided to go for it and jumped straight to the deep end 😂. Just a few progress pics, still got a load of painting to continue! Been using a mix of speed paints and citadel paints.

Hobby Having some trouble
I’m having lots of trouble with this glue. I got the actual Warhammer plastic glue before this, and it worked fine, but this stuff is extremely thin, but it’s too thin. The glue doesn’t actually make anything stick. I spray painted them before putting them together, would that affect anything?
(If you have a similar question, plenty of amazing people have commented already to give advice, thank you very much for all your help)

Art Warband Progression [Black Crusade Commissions by Carl Tabora]
I commissioned these two gorgeous pieces of art from Carl Tabora for a Black Crusade campaign that I'm part of!
From left to right on the first image we have:
- Elagon; a Tzaangor assault marine of unknown origins. He has recently ascended to daemonhood, raised into a Daemon Prince of Tzeentch
- Vaesilius; a Warpsmith of the Emperor's Children and a worshipper of Vashtorr the Arkifane.
- Ozor; a mortal human sorcerer dedicated to Tzeentch that has only grown in arcane power.
- Suit; the personal Rubric Marine of Ozor [Not pictured in the second commission].
In the second image, you see the party standing triumphant following the defeat of a six-winged dreadnought 'Living Saint' that rallied the forces of its chapter to their homeworld where we engaged and brought their forces to utter ruin. The ground around the party's feet has been turned to crystal, the world transformed into the personal daemon world of Elagon. Once a bastion of the Imperium, now bastardized into the malformed realm of a monstrous Daemon Prince.
If you have any questions, please let me know! I would love to answer any questions about this awesome campaign!

Hobby Basing Question
Looking for some opinions on how to hide this wire.
I pretty much built the base, then the model, but forgot that I had to figure out a way to get the model to sit on the base. In hindsight, I should have just built up the side a but more and have the Stalker walking up it, but too late for that now.
Thought about maybe just covering it in wood filler and doing something like stalagmite, but I think it would look goofy in comparison to the rest of the base.
Could also just leave it, won't really see it unless youre staring at it dead on and even then, youll only really notice it up close.

Art Sanguinius by @martinmooretattoos
Hi! I’m Martin from Southampton, UK! I LOVE the Warhammer universe, my favourite to paint are Death Guard or anything I can make grimy. I love the lore and read whatever I can, although I tend to prefer stories revolving around a few characters rather than grand military campaigns. Ghazghull Thrakka, The Infinate and The Divine and The Eisenhorn series are among my most read!
I have many more Warhammer, LOTR and other nerdy tattoos on my Ínsta @martinmooretattoos

Art I blended the Tone Pro color ranges into a handy Swatch so you can see what each colour set will look like on your models!
I don't have access to tone pro yet, so I made this swatch to make pre-ordering sets easier.
These colours were taken from the Games Workshop website and blended in photoshop, so it's likely not an exact representation of the physical paints, but it's handy to visualise the gradient created from each set of 5 paints.
