Spammed the middle bit of Monte Carlo in the snowiest possible conditions because I wanted to improve loose-surface car placement and this section is narrow and unforgiving. When I felt like I was starting to improve, I watched a replay and realized how terrible my driving still looked. Made this video just for funsies.
Game is hard and I am bad, but damn it's fun

Hey guys,
Like many of you with curved monitors (whether itâs a single super-ultrawide or curved triples), I love how immersive they wrap around the rig. What I always hated, though, is the visual distortion. Because most sims render flat planes, aggressive curves (like 1000R or 800R) stretch the edges, bend the horizon, and ruin the geometryâespecially at the bezels on triple screens. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.
Since Iâm a developer and an obsessed simracer, I decided to stop complaining and build a fix myself. After months of work, I finally launched SimCurve a few days ago.
Basically, instead of leaving you with a warped flat image, SimCurve intercepts the frame at the DirectX 11/12 and Windows DWM level (written in C++ and C#) and applies real-time cylindrical re-projection to match the exact physical curve of your screens, with zero input lag and no FPS drop.
Because I also hated doing endless FOV math, SimCurve automatically calculates and applies the correct FOV directly inside your simulators' settings, and automatically triggers the re-projection as soon as you launch the simâso once you set it up, you just hop in and drive.
I built this primarily for my own rig and soaked hundreds of hours into making it work seamlessly across all major sims (AC, iRacing, LMU, ACC, etc.). Seeing the first reviews come in over the last couple of daysâall super positiveâmakes me feel like I finally succeeded in what I set out to do.
If you want to check it out or test it on your setup, here is the website: https://simcurve.com
Anyone can try it for free for 14 days.
Curious to hear your thoughtsâlet me know what you guys think!

Couple of kids in my village collecting donations for a non profit going door were curious about a sim I was working on. They've never seen a sim before I showed them mine have them drive a little on the ring. Their reaction was genuinely priceless. Brought back the Good memory of when I first tried a simulator.

I just tried out the new Aston Martin Valkyrie Steering Wheel at the Simracing Expo in Frankfurt. Feels great for the price compared to other branded wheels.
What are your thoughts?

Just been playing with DLSS 5, ultra settings in game and then Cinematic mode applied.
This honestly looks close to real life. Pretty insane tbh.
Curious to how good VR will get in the next decade too.
Note: I didnt just make this to specifically show off DLSS 5, itâs just a clip from the other night after building my new PC, I tried it and figured it looked pretty good so Iâd share it on here.
Some people are saying donât do overcast, I have to remind people this is Wales. Thatâs how Wales looks, it basically rains all the time đ¤Ł
Iâll do some more videos and put them on YouTube this week and update here

Just traded a Next Level Racing GT Lite (the older style folding one) for a nearly new Playseat Evolution and I am very happy. Looks much nicer, much more comfortable and everything fits nicely.
Also upgraded from the Moza SRP Lite pedals to the Logitech G RS pedals with the 75kg load cell, what a difference that has made, very nice pedal set on a budget.

With the merger, I wonder why this product is releasing under the Trak Racer brand rather than the Fanatec brand. Fanatec continuing to develop cockpits independently of Trak Racer is already causing confusing brand overlap. Trak Racer releasing peripherals that are obviously Fanatec derived at the very least is making the distinction between the two brands even blurrier.

Beginner racer here on a g29, Iâll mainly be playing gt7 and f1 with an eye on iRacing on pc in the future, should I get the rs50 now or wait for the Moza bundle? The main reason for waiting is the potential for a ks pro for a screen option

I remember back in the day of the Nintendo 64 and the Dreamcast, maybe even PS2, they sold hand controllers with a steering wheel. It was such a great idea! Gas and brake in one trigger! Why donât they make things like this anymore, for the PC, etc?

Hello, I've got this gauge cluster from this mx5 NB 2000 and am wondering how to connect it to my PC for use with asseto Corsa. I have absolutely zero wiring knowledge aside from the fact I know I need an Arduino of some sort so any info of what to buy is massively appreciated đ
Also if this is better being sent to a different subreddit then can someone reccomend one?

Hi everyone!
I want to buy a new Moza R16 Ultra, but itâs still not available in Ukraine, and I canât find a reliable shop with a reasonable price.
I have a few questions:
I found this shop https://sim-shop.pl/, but Iâm not sure how shipping to Ukraine works or what additional costs I might have to pay.
Any advice or personal experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi just raced for the first time in my brand new dream air (I never used VR before) in AMS2 and it was other dimension yes, impresive, but it made it even more evident an issue I noticed from the begining, the blurriness of moving objects, or when I move the head. For example if I stop in the track and a car pass me by it is evidently blurry, if I look to the advertising signs while driving fast they are blurry. I think this is the same effect I noticed in general VR games, when I move the head the image is like blurry till I stop the head.
For what I read I understood this is because the oled panels, the persistence, something like a tradeoff of this technology.
But not sure if the level of blurriness I see is normal, I know this is a big issue in the Dream Air SE because they have worst panels, but I assume the Dream Air should be much better.
Do you guys that use ams2 or similar with Dream air have the same experience?, is there some adjustment that can minimizes this blurriness?

I am not a racing sim person at all. My realm of video games is in FPS. My bf however is a huge car nerd and mechanic in real life. Unfortunately we live in an apartment with no garage and he pays a lot in rent and bills so he canât really work on any project cars.
Long story short I would like to buy him a basic sim setup. I have my own very nice PC that I can use for games but Iâm completely lost on what to get for a rig and would like to not spend more than $600. If thatâs even possible. Please help me!! I want to get him a nice Christmas present that he can use when he comes home dead from work and just wants to relax.
If thereâs any follow up questions you guys need from me Iâm more than happy to answer!

If you're attending the expo please post any discount codes you come across here so the rest of the community can use them. I would have created a list myself but sadly I wasn't able to attend this year.
