Idk much about cars. I drove my dad's Nissan Navara Model 2023. In the middle of traffic something like this image. Is this bad? My dad is out of town and says he'll check it when he gets back.

Edit for context: The "TRIP" description was in the middle of RPM and Speedometer. It only was visible for about 2-3 seconds so I didn't have time to grab my phone and photograph it. That's why I drew what I remember seeing.

Hello! Recently I bought a 2019 Nissan Altima. I’ve had it for a little over 2 months and lately I’ve been having an issue with the car. So whenever I try to use CarPlay it doesn’t work, I’ve tried everything I can think of. I’ve gotten a new cord, nothing, got my charging port cleaned and replaced, nothing. Restarted the system, unpaired and repaired nothing. Does anyone have any possible fixes?
Edit: I forgot to mention this, but the car detects my phone as an iPod, figured that may help to add

A little backstory, my aunts 2019 Nissan Rogue was popping the 10 amp (fuse 30) in the drivers side of dash fuse box, taking down power steering and shift interlock, I found when I unplugged the left blind spot radar, it stopped popping the fuse, then I would plug it back in and it popped my reusable/resettable fuse, so I pulled the radar off and my uncle ordered a used one, for 50 bucks over ordering a 700$ one (car has 260k on it)

My question is does that blind spot radar need to be programmed or initialized? I'm assuming if it's like
Honda, there is no aiming, (not by aiming but adjusting the body to the correct position)

Any help or input is appreciated, first time digging into a Nissan this deep!

I have a 2023 Altima sv. Sometimes if it sits for a couple days I’ll come to unlock it and it will be unlocked and it won’t start. I just get the red car symbol with key inside rapidly flashing. I have to hook a jump pack up to it and it starts up after. Anyone have this problem and how did you fix it?

I have a 1986 d21 pickup with the vg30i v6 engine with throttle body injection(two injectors) parts are getting a lot harder to find in my area. What's the likelihood of me being able to convert to efi using the next generation intake, throttlebody, injectors, sub harnesses etc. and still being able to pass smog ?

As sure any other Nissan EV owner knows, the app was down for about a month. Apparently other people have it back up and running now but not me. Whenever I click "log in" on the app it takes me to this screen. I don't get the opportunity to even enter login details. Tried creating a new account but the same problem exists. Have tried installing and reinstalling the app several times. Sent 2 emails to Nissan and no reply so far. Anyone know how to fix it.

i drive a 2017 Nissan Altima and my battery died this morning right as I got to work ur luckily my brother was able to come after and jump it. we’re 21 and 22 (not an excuse i suppose) so i didn’t know crossing the wires was an unforgivable sin and my car and the wires started smoking then we realized we truly messed up. we went to autozone to get some more cables where they told us we royally forked up and this is my first car I literally got it in april so I genuinely am losing my mind. if you have done this to your car how extensive was the damage?

Does anyone have a video of how they apply the film guard on the roof panel of an infiniti? I am thinking it may be a robotic arm process. I thought I hade seen a video and at the end of the production line I saw a robotic application. Can anyone help? Not sure if it was a factory in the USA or other plant....

Hey folks, got a quick question for you. My daughter‘s car had a faulty transmission, oil, pressure valve put the car into limp mode when it got in the oil pressure channel. Picked up a trans go upgraded valve and did a swap and put with a brand new pump as well. Kept the OEM valve Boddy and ram chip. I had to repair a bunch of blown out mounting threads for both the valve Body and and the pan. Verify that the stepper motor arm is installed correctly with a Boro scope. Checked all resistances on solenoids and motors through the harness. Did all the startup procedures pedal dances for adaptive learning. The car is still commanding the stepper motor to stay at 197. And the stepper motor is staying at 197 even on a short drive there’s no command ever thrown to move the stepper motor to a in range position. So it throws a P one 778 code for the stepper motor.

Anyone dealt with this before?

I was told I’m having issues with the torque converter. I’m not sure if I can get the part fixed or need a whole new transmission.

my rogue is at 101k miles. No problems until now. i cant afford a new car ( in bankruptcy) or a whole new transmission.

should I try a transmission flush before going to the dealership?
