Clip [MM] Can confirm that the newly discovered Bottle Bomb trick works on the Snowhead boulder as well.
I'll update when I get to Ikana Castle and try it on the cracked floor.

Back in the 2000's, I bought both of these games used to play in my GBASP. Being a Zelda fan since I can remember, I enjoyed them but I got stuck in both games as I wasn't using a guide and this was right before Youtube even existed. In Seasons, I think I got stuck after the fourth temple or so and in Ages, I got stuck at Jabu Jabu's belly. I put both games on the backburner to play other things back then and when I returned to them a few years later in the early 2010s, the save batteries for both carts had died and Ages wouldn't even boot up anymore.
Fast forward to today and thanks to NSO, these two games are finally off my backlog after so long. It feels very surreal. Now the only Zelda game I have left to beat is AoL and then I will have played and beat everything in this franchise aside from the Tingle spinoffs. So how were the Oracle games?
Well, I'll say this. If you are a Zelda fan, you owe it to yourself to play through these at least once. The story in both of the games is fairly simple, but it is the gameplay that really shines in the Oracle games. Combat is your typical top-down Zelda similar to ALTTP or of course LA. I think what really stuck out to me were the puzzles in both games. As I did back when I first played these games, I went through the duology without using a guide. Some of the puzzles, especially in Ages, were stumpers that sort of reminded me of getting stuck in shrines in BOTW/TOTK. And also like BOTW/TOTK, inventory management is a pain.
But boy, did it feel so good when I finally figured out how to progress on my own! I understand why kid-me got stuck at Jabu Jabu's belly back in the day (I never thought to try to surface anywhere in that dungeon). I also had this misconception all these years that you needed a link cable and two Gameboys to get to the final boss. I don't know why I never looked that up til a couple weeks ago. These games also reinforced my belief that this series needs traditional dungeons. Traditional dungeons are just such an integral part of this series' DNA and more satisfying than what BOTW/TOTK offered. I'm sick of everything trying to "subvert expectations."
The impending OOT remake is sort of what got me in the mood to go back and beat these two games and I'm glad I did. I guess it's fitting to have crossed these off the backlog on the 40th anniversary. Maybe I'll get AoL done a few months down the line (I'm at the final dungeon where I left off in that one). But the Oracle games definitely could use a remake. I just wonder if Nintendo would present them as "one" game or make us buy both games like the original release? I think I know the answer to that question, but maybe they'll surprise me.

I drew this yesterday but forgot to post it :p
She's so cute and fun to draw, I don't get how people were so against her design in the trailer lol
Might draw Sheik and maybe Ganon next?? Maybe more in my style because I'm running out of renders lol

Hey everyone!
Glad to finally finish one of the most memorable enemies for me. I was always fascinated with these Gerudo warriors especially because I thought it was a large warrior knight underneath them when I was little.
This was the most difficult for me in my TOTK artstyle influenced series yet. The anatomy of the Iron Knuckle armor was a big challenge especially with the differences in the model and OoT artwork in my references. I'm not happy yet with the feet and other areas of the armor and weapon, but it's a learning journey.
Here's my Twitter/Instagram pages as per the rules:

My question is pretty simple.
In Majora's Mask, every time you reset the three-day cycle, all the people you've helped go back to their original situations. No matter how many lives you've saved or problems you've solved, most of it gets undone when you play the Song of Time.
Of course, as you progress through the game, you unlock more items, masks, songs, and shortcuts that let you complete certain quests much faster.
Usually, once players have everything they need to beat the game, they just skip ahead to the Final Night and go straight to Majora.
But that got me thinking: what's the maximum number of people you can actually save in a single three-day cycle?
Let's say Link already has every item, mask, and ability he needs. Instead of simply waiting for the Final Night, he decides to spend those last three days helping as many people as possible before heading to the moon to defeat Majora.
How many side quests could he realistically complete? How many people could he save? And what would the optimal route look like?
And if we assume that saving absolutely everyone is impossible, who should Link prioritize? Which quests are the most time-sensitive, which ones absolutely cannot be postponed, and which would make the biggest difference if completed before the end of the world?
I'm especially curious about which quests can be completed in the same cycle, which ones might conflict with each other, and whether anyone has ever tried to plan out a run like this.
Basically, what's the closest we can get to a "save everyone" ending in Majora's Mask without resetting time again?

This bad boy didn't ship for a week and was stuck in a city for a week now its finally here! Also to those who might more the zeldathon I'm doing (all like....5 of you) this is why the phantom hourglass one hasnt come out yet, just came in. Can't say I'm super excited to get to this one this is considered one of the worst mainline Zelda games but I'm just glad I can finally continue after this wait! Again sorry for the delay (and also sorry I'm technically not posting this exactly on a Monday just a tiny bit after) and I'll see you in that post!
