Miller Street, Pyrmont, Sydney, Australia. A scar across the street that has been deliberately left open when asphalt has been added/updated around it. What looks like metal brackets sunk into the ground at either end. Nothing else distinguishing about it.

Figured it would have been some sort of gate but then why have it across only half the street? It’s not close enough to an intersection to be a traffic light sensor. Ancient traffic measuring tech? But if so why leave it exposed?

I believe it aids in securing railcar loads but figured someone else may know more. Can’t find any information online

I found this tiny lucky charm on the ground. I don't know what it represents, but it looks familiar, somewhat like a daruma of sorts, or a traditional mask. If you have any idea about what it represents, I'm all ears.

I just took a sip of this fruit punch jarritos and then noticed this black particles floating around the bottom. I have no idea what it is, but it’s certainly not any type of fruit pulp. It genuinely looks like fish poop. Any idea what this could be and if I will get sick from having sip lol

I ate most of this family sized bag of kettle chips (don’t judge) over the past three days and the chips on the top seemed ok. Near the bottom, I had the displeasure of almost eating this one, and noticed that it had this clumpy brown stuff on it. It is super gritty, and I originally thought it was a clump of flavoring since that has happened before, but it is NOT flavoring (don’t ask me how I know). It has no flavor. I’m hoping it’s just some desiccant that was used in manufacturing but wanted to double check.

I'm into cars but don't recognize this at all. Car is a Durango, if it matters. Not sure if it's vehicle related or not, but I do not remember bringing anything like this into the car (decor or things I've hauled etc).

This blue liquid appeared this morning roughly coinciding with the trash pickup time, but I can’t be certain it came from them. The pieces seen in the picture may be a red herring, as they look to be Lego pieces. We did not throw away any legos nor did we have any blue paint in the trash. My only thought is some sort of fluid sprang a leak from the trash truck

I'm in Missouri. It's about 1 cm long. Sticky outside. It seems too small to be a mulberry and it's more like a sack with these little white balls inside. It was also tougher to cut through than I would expect a berry to be.

Update: She had an Omeprazole capsule this morning and it may have been stuck in her cheek for about 5 hours

For reference I’m in the Midwest. I didn’t find any animal carcasses or remains under my deck/around the house. This was the only thing that she threw up. She seems fine and good. Could it be a rat tail? Should I be concerned even though she seems unbothered? Any help is appreciated.

Moved into a new apt in an old building.. top floor.. found these scattered along the edges of the apt,behind fridge, and under radiator in corner. Found a few middle of my room.. They’re black, hard.. some are shiny? Assumed mouse droppings? Yes? Old or new? But thought mouse droppings are more like pellet shaped.. exterminator coming on Monday but landlord already upset/gaslighting me so I’d like to have some sense on my own before. :/
