Where can I borrow a strong magnet
Does anyone know where on campus I can access a neodymium magnet rated at 10,000-12,000 gauss? I need to borrow it for literally 5 seconds to remove a security tag from one of my clothes. (I have the receipt I didn’t steal it.)

Struggling with roommates/housing as an exchange student. Should I move off-campus?
Hi everyone, I’m an exchange student from Japan and currently having a really tough time with my housing situation. I’d love to get some advice or hear about other people’s experiences.
I live with two other exchange students from China. They knew each other before coming here, and since they’re in a different year than me, we don't have much in common. Naturally, they mostly speak Chinese with each other. From the very beginning, even before moving in, it felt like the two of them were making plans together behind my back. When I tried sending emails to connect before arriving, it took forever to get a response. One of them didn't reply until right before we moved in, with just a quick "sorry for the late response!" message. Because of this, we couldn't even discuss basic arrangements beforehand, which was really frustrating. Looking back, maybe they just disliked the idea of living with a Japanese roommate, and I should have requested a room swap right then and there.
Since living together, I’ve felt completely isolated. We don't hang out, I've never even had a meal with one of them, and I don't have any Halloween plans either. What frustrates me even more is that I paid out of my own pocket to rent a fridge for the room. The roommate who barely communicated before moving in hasn't paid a single cent for it, yet she uses it freely every day. We can't even have necessary conversations about shared living rules or responsibilities.
To avoid conflict, I’ve been staying out of the room as much as possible so they can do their own thing (napping, gaming, job interview prep, etc.). I usually don't come back until midnight every day. Meanwhile, all my other international friends seem to get along fine with their roommates and are handling their academics well, which honestly makes me feel pretty envious.
The breaking point happened recently. One of my classes suddenly switched to online. Because study rooms were fully booked, I asked if I could stay in the room just for that class period. I was turned down because one of them had job interview prep. They’ve been practicing in the room constantly lately, making it hard for me to even be there. What angered me the most is that I always take my own interviews and club calls outside so I don't disturb anyone, but they refuse to compromise.
This class was crucial for me to record because English isn't my native language, and I have a health condition/disability that makes daily life challenging, so I really need a quiet space to record lectures to keep up. Because I had to take the class in a noisy common space, I couldn’t record it properly, which was a huge setback.
My mental health completely hit rock bottom after this, and I realized I just can't tolerate this anymore. I finally reached out to my RD to request a room change.
I’m wondering: Would moving off-campus be a better option? Do off-campus housing environments generally have people who are easier to communicate with and handle these kinds of situations better? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

UCLA VS USC FOOTBALL GAME
Hi! I've never been to a football game at the Rose Bowl but wanted to try to go to the USC vs UCLA football game. Are the tickets available on the UCLA ticket central the only tickets that will be released? Do tickets usually get cheaper closer to game day? I'm not really sure how the process works.

Undergrad research (just a post to complain anonymously)
How’s that every lab I cold email is either full or ghosts me🥲. This is genuinely so discouraging and makes me doubt my abilities. Do you just keep emailing and hope something happens?

Halloweekend is just around the corner!
I was going at it the other day to my hot professor and it hit me: halloween is soon. That means thirteen days of straight edging for me until i finally see her in a sexy nurse costume.
At least i hope i’ll see her in any costume at all. I will admit that i amazoned her a skimpy sexy chica cosplay (dont worry, i sent it anonymously this time). If she wont wear it to class, she’ll wear it to trick or treat. Halloween is on a saturday so she should be trick or treating.
Im gonna show up to her office hours on monday and ask which neighborhoods give out the biggest candy bars. Then at night after she fills her pillowcase with candy i’ll show her an even bigger candy bar. Thats right lads, im talking about my dick.

Where do UCLA fans usually tailgate
Hi, I'm a tourist coming to the UCLA-Wisconsin game tomorrow and I was wondering where and what time do UCLA students and fans usually tailgate and how easy is it to show up there and have a great time without knowing anyone prior. Thanks in advance for all the help.

Where does the 2 officially pick up?
I see people waiting for the 2 to start in front of the parking lot and a lot of the time the drivers don’t let people get on until the stop in front of Chick-fil-a. Is the official first stop there? Thanks!
