WTAF is going on with the uber waiting bay at domestic airport (maccas/KFC side)
Went to get some delicious Krispy Kreme’s and got stuck in a 40 mins queue of Ubers lining up to turn into the world’s smallest waiting bay. Now I understand why my Ubers always take forever or cancel when I’m at public pickup.
This cannot be a viable long term solution for Syd Airport, it’s just utterly fucked that entire area.

Platform fee at self serve, no fee at counter
At lunch today, at Harvey's in Parramatta, if I use the self serve kiosks, they add a platform fee to the menu total.
I cancelled the order before paying and ordered at the counter - no fee.
Is this legal? Surely it costs them less money for me to order through a screen instead of taking the time of an employee?

A female friend was harassed on a train in Sydney
This is a post asking for help. A friend of mine was harassed by a middle-aged man on a train in Sydney. He asked for her mobile number, and as she was afraid that refusing might cause him to become agitated and do something harmful, she gave it to him at the time. She has since blocked him. Our concern now is: if this man realises he has been blocked and starts stalking her or something similar, how should we deal with it? They got off at the same station, and their homes are not very far apart. Would it be useful to report this to the police at this stage?
Note: We are all international students, and we all live on our own.
Second edit:I’m sorry, everyone; I didn’t want this post to spark an argument. Perhaps people have different perspectives on this. However, I believe that, as a female international student living alone abroad, it is perfectly normal to feel this kind of fear. I have now reported the incident to the police and at the station, and I have posted about it on social media on other platforms. I have evidence to show that another student has also been harassed by him.

Ridiculous (Pls read)
I am much more pro lime bike than most people, I’ve found them useful for getting around unfamiliar cities, and like that they get cars off roads.
But this is insane. This is the bike rack at a T1 train station. Absolutely full of lime bikes.
I tried to park my bike and could barely squeeze into the single spare slot, and on some days there are no slots available.
This is a commuter bike rack, and if you know this station you’ll know it’s actually a fair way from the road down a hill, not even visible from the road even, so I’m surprised they’re allowed to put the bikes here. I don’t love the idea of people trying these bikes out for the first time on a fairly steep hill.
But more importantly, these bike racks are for commuters. We paid for them with our tax dollars. And lime get to use them?
Even if you could argue that commuters will use these (which is still a dumb argument as it actively takes away spots from commuters), these bikes have kick stands for fucks sake. They stand up on their own. What bright spark thought they need to be crowded around a bike rack?
Basically - who do I contact council, TfNSW, or Lime?
Edit: before people posit that maybe this was a group of people leaving them there. Nope, I ride to this station once or twice a week. Sometimes there are far more bikes, such a large bunch that it actively constricts the path to the station. Sometimes there are 1 or 2, or no bikes. Someone from like is absolutely replenishing them. They are usually much neater than this, to be fair.

Image A plague
Everyone is worried about the artefacts on the weather radar created by swarms of bogong moths: this is the real plague. Just left wherever with no sanction for Lime or the rider.
Of all the major cities in the world why did Sydney agree to permit the creation of an inconvenient eyesore?

Boags St George
Anyone know where you can find Boags St George in stock in Sydney either full strength or 3.5 is fine? I have heard on the grape vine small bottle shops do stock it but finding which ones have it is hard.
TIA
Image What's the story with the Monkey in Newtown?
It's been up for many years. I drive past nearly every day. The building facade has been painted a few times, however the Monkey stays.

First branching?
Greetings from the States. I could not find a subreddit for the Sydney White Bellied Sea Eagles so I'm posting here.
I would gladly be redirected to the official subreddit.
SE 37 & SE 38 are about 2 months old. This looks like a first branching for them :-)
Be well all and stay safe and in good health.
