Discussion Why won’t the Boston Bruins go away?
Year after year for the last three-plus seasons, people have predicted that the Bruins would be forced into some kind of rebuild or retool. Even heading into the season when they set the NHL regular-season record with a 65-12-5 record, there were plenty of doubts about whether they could remain competitive. Aside from the 2023–24 season, they’ve continued to be a competitive team.
Why do you think the Bruins have consistently been able to defy those expectations and remain competitive?

Question Thoughts on the 2027 All-Star format?
There’ll be five teams: Canada, the U.S., Finland, Sweden and a World team. They’ll play 3-on-3, with each team facing the other four in 5 minute games. No overtime or shootouts. The top two teams move on to a 10 minute final.
I was excited when I first heard about it, but now I’m not so sure. What do you think?
Could this format work, or will the games feel too short?

Sens performance last night ...
I hope that the Sens get a hard practice today because they didn't work up a sweat last night until the 3rd period! Its hard to watch a team that can play so well go out and get dominated like that for 2 periods by a team that they can easily outplay if they play their A game.
