Share the Netflix series you would most want to watch, and you could be one of five members here trying the LG StanbyME 2 Max. It is a screen that rolls to wherever you actually end up watching. Bed, couch, kitchen counter, or out on the patio.
The LG StanbyME 2 Max steps up from the 27 inch QHD model of the StanbyME 2 to a 32 inch 4K UHD touchscreen, so faces and background detail hold up from across the room, and lifts the sound from virtual 9.1.2 to virtual 11.1.2 channel audio (2.0 channel speakers with AI Sound Pro) with Dolby Atmos. Dolby Vision and the Alpha 8 AI Processor Gen 3 handle the picture, with AI 4K upscaling for older titles.
The battery grows to 144 Wh for up to 4.5 hours of wireless use, up from up to 4 hours, so a few episodes run with nothing plugged in. webOS 26 runs your apps on the screen, and the rolling stand moves it from the living room to the bedroom when the night runs long.
Five members of this community get the chance to try one.

Hi r/Netflix users!
Most living rooms aren't dark theaters, and Netflix originals aren't mastered for average TV settings. Picture quality for streaming comes down to how well a display handles the edges: shadow detail that stays readable, HDR that doesn't clip, and color that holds consistency across different lighting conditions. The LG OLED G6 is built around those specific demands.
That is why LG is bringing a special review event to r/Netflix, giving one Redditor the chance to experience the LG OLED G6 65-inch in their own home setup and share honest impressions with the community.
And yes, the selected participant will get to keep the TV. š
This event is inspired by LGās recent Hollywood Roadshow at Picture Shop in Los Angeles, where cinematographers, colorists, and post-production experts experienced the LG OLED G6 firsthand and explored how next-generation OLED technology can bring creative intent closer to home.
One featured expert was veteran color scientist Joshua Pines, whose credits include Blade Runner, Gravity, The Revenant and more. In the Roadshow content, Pines shares his perspective on OLED picture processing, calibration, shadow detail, and how display technology can support the creatorās intended viewing experience123. For more details, click here.
Ā
Dark thrillers and color-graded originals both expose weaknesses in displays that cannot hold shadow separation or accurate color under changing light.
That is where the LG OLED G6 excels, with Hyper Radiant Color Tech, Perfect Black, Perfect Color4, the α11 AI Processor Gen3, and Reflection-Free Premium5 helping support clear, immersive Netflix viewing in both bright and dark environments.
Take a closer look at the key LG OLED G6 features below.
Ā
FILMMAKER MODE⢠with Ambient Light Technology lets you see films just as the director intended. With Dolby Vision® for extraordinary color, contrast, and brightness, plus Dolby Atmos® for sound you can feel all around you, the LG OLED G6 helps make movies and series feel more immersive6.
Ā

Hyper Radiant Color Tech is our next-generation OLED technology that enhances every aspect of picture quality to an entirely new level. It delivers incomparable brightness, Perfect Black, and Perfect Color in any light, while preserving stunning 4K visuals with our best α11 AI Processor Gen3, and it is even certified for Reflection-Free Premium, ensuring flawless picture quality without reflection, whether in bright or dark environments. Experience OLED like never before ā see the difference, feel the brilliance, and discover a new standard in viewing.

Am I the only one who thinks The Diplomat is a bit underrated? I think it is one of the best political series out there.. Are you enjoying season 4 so far?
r/netflix • u/ForAChange2Happen • 13h ago
How is this even allowed? 12 commercial breaks for one movie? Not counting the commercial ad prior to the movie. This is for Demon Slayer infinity castle. Only reason I still have Netflix is because it comes with my phone plan, otherwise I would cancel it! This is crap!
r/netflix • u/Puzzleheaded-Lab825 • 12h ago
And I just cancelled yesterday. I honestly hadn't realized that the only thing I've watched recently on Netflix was Below and that was ok at best. Before that was The Whisper Man and that was bad. Just seems like the quality of the shows has gone down in the past 5 or 6 years? And with all of the cancellations of my favorites such as Mindhunter, Kingdom, Archive 81 plus the sometimes 5+ year wait times for season 2 is nuts. I just don't care about the library anymore. The other streaming platforms are a tough pill to swallow as well with the continuing price increases but i've found that I spend the least amount of time on Netflix. Wondering if anyone else thinks the content has gotten way worse?

I am watching this now ..so far i liked it but i feel like its getting kind of slow after the 1st season. And there are many things I can't understand..like how they did that for example: cole needed his younger self's blood so that he can continue splitting..how did they for others ? And the room where the witness (their son) initially was giving instructions to others .. and that room was connected to cole's son we all know that but how they changed the witness, i still can't process it .
But i kind of liked its intro tune

Just finished the Season 4 finale of The Diplomat and I genuinely need emotional support. How are we supposed to wait for Season 5?!
That final five-minute sprint š¤
Debora Cahn and the writers room wake up every morning and choose sheer narrative violence.
That final five minute sequence took an already fragile house of cards and dropped a bunker buster straight through the middle of it. Nobody captures the unglamorous panic of high-stakes statecraft like this show. Keri Russell playing sheer internal panic masked behind diplomatic protocol better than anyone on television.

Any one watching this sitcom? I find it really good. The jokes are clever and it seems to reflect my experience as a 66 year old male.
I find it refreshingly good. No crazy drama just great entertainment. Some familiar faces but the main character eludes me for stardom past.
Kind of makes me think that theres some promising sitcoms out there that Netflix hasnt capured the rightsvto display them. Too many get toed up with other networks. I sincerely cannot afford to sign up for others in a monthly fee.

Just finished watching the British Heartstopper series, Heartstopper Forever movie and the podcasts. This was a friggin awesome series. Beautifully navigating teen experience, highs, lows, trials and tribulations of teen life living and dealing with realistic minority groups living within the general population rules. Hats off to the writer, director, the brilliant cast and crew. What a treasure. I have not seen a series since I watched 13 Reasons Why (USA series) and its podcasts that navigated sensitive and realistic young peoples issues. From a straight, white female in early 60s, it is so heartwarming to see work like this produced so young people can see themselves represented, in a way that can lead to further discussion, thought and considered care. The very biggest bunch of roses to you all. If you havenāt seen Heartstopper, it is a must watch.

The Diplomat to me seems to be more about the relationships than the political drama. Can anyone explain the dynamics of Kate and Hal? Grace and Todd? Rides and Stuart?

I travel constantly for my job and stay on the road for months at a time. I pay for my own account, and Iām the only one who uses it, but this whole "household" crackdown BS means I canāt even use it anymore.
At first, I was fine just getting a temporary code every two weeks. But eventually, that stopped working. I called them, and they said I used the codes too many times and was locked out. The rep told me to just manually change my "home location" every time I got to a new spot.
Okay, so I started doing that... and surprise, that stopped working too.
Called them again, and they told me I can't change my location anymore because itās been changed too many times, and now I have to wait a month to update it again. They literally told me there's nothing they can do because "that's just how the system is."
I had to explain my living situation multiple times because the rep clearly wasn't listening. They seriously tried to tell me that if I have a second home, I need to pay for an "added user." I don't have a second home! I am in a different city or state nearly every single week.
When I asked how nobody on their team thought of alternative living situations or business travelers, the guy finally got it and just said, "Oh, I guess no one thought of that."
Literally every other streaming company solved this years agoāyou pay for the number of screens you watch, so the location shouldn't even matter. Netflix is straight up forcing a paying customer out.
I got a few extra weeks of watching on my phone and laptop, until eventually I got the notification that this device is not a part of the household. But it's been officially cancelled, I'm not paying for a service that I can't use.

Firstly, big fan of the show but Below has me thinking that anyone drinking water any way other than passively has been infected by a giant squad and comes from New Foundland.
Man drinking water on commute.. infected
A colleague drinking quickly from her water bottle after using the tap... Infected
My wife desperately asking for her water in the middle of the night ext to me... Infected

Yall i just watched the lizzie borden series super late. I was so confused about why they chose to jam aileens story into lizzie bordenās
Also discovered practically none of the facts about lizzie bordenās case were accurate so why even make this season about her?
I thought the acting for aileen and lizzie was amazing independently - the actresses both deserved better
My eight remaining braincells are fighting to see how the stories of aileen and lizzie are comparable in any way, besides that they were both women who murdered

Okay this is ridiculous, i saw someone post here about two weeks ago that Seinfeld disappeared from the platform while they were watching. I have been watching everyday since September, but now its happening every few days where you cant find Seinfeld on the platform. What is going on? Am i the only one having the profile and if you experienced it did you manage to fix it?
PS: What you are seeing is my continue watching section where Seinfeld keeps disappearing and reappearing every few days.

FIONA Harvey ā who claims she was identified as a stalker by the hit show Baby Reindeer ā is 'elated' after winning a key legal battle againstĀ NetflixĀ in her defamation battle.
A trial between Harvey and the streamer has moved a step closer, after an appeal by Netflix against a decision not to throw the case out has itself been thrown out.
Her New York lawyer Richard Roth said: 'Netflix is doing everything it can to avoid a trial of this action.
'First it made a motion before the federal district court, which it lost. Then it appealed that decision, which was dismissed.'
Roth added: 'There will be a trial in this action where its wrongdoing will be front and centre before a jury.'
Asked how his client was feeling he replied: 'Elated.'
Harvey is seeking $170million in damages, alleging that the programme, created by and starring Richard Gadd, defamed her, and made her life a misery.
Broadcast in April 2024, Baby Reindeer became a global smash hit. At the beginning of the first episode, the words 'This is a true story' appeared on screen.
At the end of the series, the character Martha, played by actress Jessica Gunning, pleaded guilty to stalking comedian Donny (Gadd) and was handed a four-and-a-half year prison sentence.
Harvey's lawyers say she has never been convicted of any crime, let alone gone to prison. She claims that she has been defamed 'at a magnitude and scale without precedent' and her life ruined as a result.
Her legal team said she was too traumatised to leave her flat in London after the show aired.
In September 2024, judge Gary Klaus ruled Baby Reindeer was not a true story, and that Netflix had 'made no effort to investigate' the accuracy of the facts; norĀ did they take measures to hide Harvey's identity.
After this trial, how will Gadd's relationship with Netflix continue?

contains spoilers for both shows
I recently finished Below, and as I got near the end I kept feeling like this show felt familiar. I realized it has an almost identical plot to The Boroughs (canceled after 1 season)
Both shows have feature a group of people in more isolating community than your average show (remote, and struggling small community part of Newfoundland and a seniors living community which comes from a place of loneliness and loss).
Both shows start off with a more horror and suspense genre, which that turns into weirdly heroic and heartfelt, but doesnt translate in a good way as the viewer.
They both feature a mysterious creature that is ruthlessly killing multiple people, and it also possesses a quality that when consumed has an effect on your health. Boroughs it positively cured your body, in Below it negatively effected your health drove you to suicide.
There is also a big nasty corporation (which is also family run) working in the background that is benefiting from the monster, and trying to keep people quiet, and lead them blindly through their life.
There is an unexplained, plot hole, of magic (good and bad) associated with the creature that is never explained. In Below its the weird sea Hag coming into Wades bedroom at night, how Maggie magically has the ring. In The Boroughs there is the tree with the fruit
Older woman, much younger guy. Not a big deal, but still similar.
BOTH creatures are MOTHERS. And despite that the creature has brutally murdered many people for mostly unknown reasons, all of a sudden the main characters flip from it being a horror, to a hero mission to save the creature. The part about this that bothered me, is that if a black bear protects its cubs and attacks someone, the bear still dies. These creatures are brutally murdering people, destroying communities etc (in Belows case, since Calvin's childhood) but its all of a sudden redeemed because it has offspring. They say there is only one of its kind, but it needed a partner to breed.
The Boroughs was just an older persons version of Stranger Things, and Below has some very similar plot and storyline repeats from The Boroughs. All have shown to be disappointing especially in the later point of the season. Why is Netflix cranking out these same copy cat shows, which almost feel like AI written scripts? It feels like it is an premeditated algorithm that they keep spitting out, but none with a ton of success.
Do you see any other similarities I missed?
