Support Gray bars under the top bar on WiFi
Does anyone know why my WiFi has two gray bars? It’s Ben happening all week and started with just one. Is this something wrong with my phone or my WiFi.

I dropped my phone and 30 minutes later a vertical white like appeared on the screen just like the picture attached. Fyi my screen is cracked from 2 yrs ago, this means they will probably will replace the entire screen. How much do you think this will cost.

That's it right there. I got one a few years ago that also said hbo not supported but it 75% of the time it works good, sometimes it's finicky, or times out or the cord between lightning out and hdmi in has to be curved just so. I cannot get paramount+ to work on firestick cos I'm a guest. Is there anyone using an iPhone to HDMI adapter that does this?.

My iphone 16 is suddenly having charging issues, I plug my charger in and it recognises it but the battery percentage won’t go up. I searched it up and it said it might be because of dirt in the charging port so i tried to clean it, used a hair dryer (from a distance) and it seemed to work my phone was charging again. It charged for one cycle and after that when I tried to charge it again it wasn’t working, so I tried the same hair dryer trick and it wasn’t working. So I tried my brother’s charger and it was working. So i thought the issue was my cable but then my brother’s cable also worked for one cycle and it stopped working. I haven’t tried it again yet, but I tried a third party android charger now and it seems to be working now (although slow) is this a problem in my phone or is it a charger problem?

I'm trying to use the new Siri AI but I found two issue and I wonder if there's a fix?
The overlay lasts forever? It doesn't go away unless I swipe up.
How come I need to unlock my iPhone for every little thing? I used to be able to say "add milk to my shopping list" but now it constantly complains that I need to unlock my phone first
It has some good uses but these two things are kind of annoying

When I used to unlock my older iPhone with face ID, it would’nt unlock unless I was looking directly at my phone (with my eyes looking at the phone) but with iPhone 18 pro max it unlocks despite me looking away or even having my face a little to the other side, even though I have “Require Attention” turned on in face id settings. Has anyone else noticed this issue? Is this an iOS bug or a hardware limitation? Or just an issue unique to my iPhone?
edit: for context, it doesn’t unlock if I fully close my eyes, that means the attention awarness is somewhat functioning but it ALWAYS unlocks my phone when im looking away and try to unlock it, I think this is a major security issue and Apple should have atleast publicly addressed it before the sales of this device begun, I’m actually considering downgrading to 17PM because of this issue.

Basically the title. I thought StandBy mode was supposed to remember the last view selected. I like to have one of the clocks in particular (the least bright and annoying one). Yet every night I plop it on my Anker MagSafe charger and it pops up with the stupid photo album or calendar or something else I don’t want. This happened before and after the iOS 27 update. Anyone else find StandBy annoyingly inconsistent?

I’ve muted most app notifications, but a few are worth the interruption because timing changes what I can do next. A meeting reminder when I need to leave is different from a badge that can wait.
My take: a notification should prove it’s urgent, not just announce that something happened. Which alert do you keep on even when most are off? What makes it worth the interruption — and what app sends you too many?
Disclosure: I work on an iOS voice-assistant project and think about when an assistant should stay quiet.

trying to do do a little paintbrush edit in markup and now for some reason these blue dots are appearing and won’t let me paint where I want to. And when I touch the area a text box like suggestion appears, then when I touch that it changes what I’ve painted into “two asterisks.” Seems like some weird auto correct type thing but it’s ruining what I’m trying to do and I’m irate.

iPhone Handoff allows one phone number to be shared across two separate iPhones. Why would someone use it? Do you have any real need for that?

I’m looking for help on my photos changing quality once I take it 😭 Going on a trip soon and the last thing I want is terrible photos 🥲 Advice to help fix this is greatly appreciated 🥹
First photos is what it’s supposed to look like - the other two is either making it super saturdays or way too bright. Have to go into my live photos editor to bring it back to normal looking…
Currently on standard mode and I read to turn off “Prioritize Faster Shooting” and turning off “View Full HDR” but that doesn’t work.
PS. The preview on my phone screen looks fine. And it happens to anything (regardless of if it’s on a TV or not) then I’ll go to the photos app and it changes.

I have got a brand new Iphone 17 pro max 1TB (esim version), now it seems that the camera software is a bit weird.
While taking video at 4k 60fps (Or any other setting), when I view the video in the gallery it looks like there are green lines and green boxes in it.
I have tried different lights and different fps but the result is the same.
Happened to anyone else?
I have added a video of my screen recording.

I have an Iphone 14 Pro Max my sim often not working now. It used to be okay and then all of sudden it stopped, I need to restart my phone or eject SIM Tray and put it back. First few seconds it detected then just stop. Is it only me or there is a bug going around? what should i do to fix this?
by the way I tried to put the SIM on other phone it works fine
So I have a current iPhone (64gb) and I recently bought an unlocked iPhone with more storage (256gb). I’m trying to transfer everything from the current phone to the unlocked one, so my question is will my carrier info (T-Mobile) also show up when I do the transfer or do I have to get that done through them? Please excuse my ignorance this is my first time doing something like this.

screenshot obtained from app privacy report -> whatsapp. i’ve shared my screen on whatsapp calls for, maybe, 5 mins at a time? but it seems like whatsapp continues to access my phone’s screen recording for days at a time until the phone is shut off at some point.
is this normal? does this mean whatsapp is constantly watching my screen?
for context, no, it doesn’t say anything in the control center after i stop sharing. just wondering why whatsapp is continuing to use this permission. thanks guys!

Just received my brand new iPhone 18 Pro Max, and after unboxing I noticed this little blemish around the upper left of the top camera lens:
Tried to catch it at a few angles under sunlight here, but it's pretty noticeable in person, especially while moving the phone around when the light catches it more clearly.
At first I thought it was a smudge but it won't go away when I rub at it. It almost looks like a scuff mark?
I would hate to go through the entire return process for something relatively minor but it bugs the hell out of my OCD (stuff like this causes it to flare up big time). I was curious if this would bother anyone else or if you guys think I'm being silly to get hung up over it? As long as it's not actually on the lens itself, should I just let it go - or could this be indicative of some kind of damage that happened to the phone before it shipped?

If the phone gets wiped completely after it becomes unavailable, can one make a new apple id on it and use it normally again?
