Ich nutze meine Apple Watch SE (2020) schon seit Jahren und denke endlich über ein Upgrade nach.

Ich wünsche mir schon ewig eine goldene Apple Watch! Als ich die hellere Goldvariante sah, war ich zunächst begeistert, aber nachdem ich sie im Apple Store anprobiert hatte, war ich ehrlich gesagt ziemlich enttäuscht. Sie wirkte in echt viel silberner als golden.

Dann habe ich die 42-mm-Serie 12 in Gold-Titan anprobiert und mich sofort in die Farbe verliebt. 🥹 Es ist ein wunderschöner Goldton und passt perfekt zu meinem Goldschmuck!

Alternativ habe ich sogar die 40-mm-SE 3 in Midnight mit dem goldenen Milanaise-Armband kombiniert, aber das Midnight-Gehäuse wirkt einfach viel zu blau.

Hier ist mein Dilemma: Ich hätte so gerne die Series 12. Ich habe ADHS, und einige der zusätzlichen Funktionen wären im Alltag echt praktisch, vor allem, um organisiert zu bleiben und den Überblick zu behalten. Sie ist zwar teuer, aber ich könnte sie mir leisten, der Preis ist also nicht das Problem. The Size ist the problem.

Ich habe sehr schmale Handgelenke und befürchte, dass die 42-mm-Serie 12 einfach viel zu groß an mir aussieht. Manchmal finde ich sie wunderschön, aber dann sehe ich sie mir nochmal an und denke, sie wirkt irgendwie albern oder lächerlich an meinem schmalen Handgelenk.

Was meint ihr ehrlich? Wirkt die Series 12 an meinem Handgelenk zu groß, besonders im Vergleich zu den kleineren Modellen, oder mache ich mir da zu viele Gedanken?

Seid bitte ehrlich! Ich möchte nicht so viel Geld für eine Uhr ausgeben, die am Ende lächerlich groß an mir aussieht.

I feel like the battery on my applewatch always dies within 24 hours so I seldomly wear it to bed. I like to track my sleep so I will charge it ahead of time so that it can last through the night. Does anyone else sleep with it on? If so, how often and when do you usually charge it?

I’ve purchased stainless steel since Apple started selling them but this year I opted for the Aluminum because I liked how the dark bronze looked in the KeyNote. I’m really glad I did, its their best color I think that they’ve released in a long time.

Last charge wasnt even to 100, almost exactly 48 hrs ago!

Having recently switched out my Garmin for the Series 12 was the last hurdle in completing my Apple ecosystem.

I was worried that the battery life would be an issue, but given how fast it charges, it really isn’t a problem for me. Battery lasts about twice as long as I expected!

I’ve gotta say, I am seriously in love with this thing 😍

I had a 1st generation SE forever, then got an SE3 which I only had for 4 days (long story), and now I have a Series 11 which is so much nicer (and what I truly wanted in the first place too)!!

I honestly just couldn’t justify shelling out $400 for a Series 12, but was able to justify $280 for the Series 11 when I knew I could get at least $250 from selling both my SEs, especially when I don’t actually need all the features anyway, I just wanted more of them.

The battery life is super impressive! I could easily get about 36-40 hours out of it since at 20 hours it’s still been showing around 40%, but I charge it before bed anyway since it’s quick and easy to do while I get myself ready for the night.

I’m still playing around with it and learning it—but so far I’m extremely happy with my purchase. Definitely a huge upgrade, even from the SE3!!

I was a bit nervous that my band would look stupid with it because I had bought a “Starlight” one when I got the SE3, but it’s not that off from the Apple Watch’s rose gold case, so I’m letting it be, at least for now—no, it’s not a perfect match, but if I got the “Rose Gold” from the same company, it would definitely be too dark and too gold, but that’s what you get with third party accessories 😅

And even though I have super tiny wrists, I don’t hate the 42mm size, although I do notice the difference and prefer the smaller 40mm case, aesthetically speaking.

Just want to share that I’m very happy with my Series 11 42mm GPS Jet Black. I made an upgrade from Series 7 41mm GPS green. I’ve always read in forums that getting certified refurbished from Apple is basically new and indeed, I received a sealed box with a battery life of 100% and physically flawless. I would be surprised if it was an actual refurbished product. My Series 7 was valued at $65 and I traded it in for a gift card. This watch cost $319 including tax. I ended up only paying $254 for the Series 11 by using the gift card.

I was worried in the first week of use due to the battery draining so fast but I read somewhere that the watch will be updating things in the background in the first few days of use. I also did an update to IOS 27 and the battery is no longer draining.

I updated my watch today and found my favorite Duotone face is no more. My watche restarted after update and it looked like the image would have normally. I shut down and restarted, tried starting from scratch, but no dice. I’m so sad, it matched my phone’s lock screen and I’ve had them this way for ages!

Has anyone else encountered this? I’m on a series 10 watchOS 27.0.1

Was this a fluke? First freezing cold run in Toronto this morning (felt like -1C), first with gloves since March and since I got my Series 12. They were the thin knitted ones with no special “touch screen” material. I was toward the end of my run with my sleeves and jacket over my watch and wanted to see how much time I had left. I forgot about having to remove the gloves like I did with my Series 9 I just retired…and it worked in the 12?!

The absolute worst with my 9 was deep cold January runs where you had to peel back layered gloves to bare skin to swipe or poke. The watch just worked as normal.

Also I was 24 hours deep since last charge and still had 41% battery after 6.5k/4ish miles and 2x Yoga for Runners. One small anomaly was that I forgot to turn off theatre mode after a film last night so no blood oxygen overnight. I also gps recorded the walk to the theatre (go see You Can See Everything!).

I want to buy more bands for AW series 12 dark bronze .

I dropped my watch (Series 11) on marble floor n it cracked the lower glass panel (side that faces the skin on the wrist) that covers the sensors. It feels a tad bit rough to touch but nothing is coming apart. I’m sure it compromises the insulation, but most things work fine (not sure if the sensors are reading accurate). I mostly use it for calls, notifications and generic stuff not much concerned about the sensors. I do not have AppleCare on it and couldn’t find any third party place that does lower panel replacement. Is it even possible to get out done? If not, is there any makeshift diy I can do to wear the watch under normal daily condition and at least use it for calls and messages?

Hi, a couple days ago I visited my late best friend's family, and they gifted me her Apple Watch and the charger for it. I should start by saying I have never owned anything from Apple or even a smart watch.

When I press any of the buttons or try to do anything, it requires a 4-digit passcode, which neither me or her family know. I'm wondering if 1) it's possible to completely reset the watch including the passcode and 2) if I can even use it with an Android phone. I included pictures of the watch in case that helps in any way as I am completely lost. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

My previous was a S7 46mm but it died in the pool this summer. Since then I was waiting to see what they did for S12 and now I’ve been waiting to find a good deal on either an 11 or 12.

Got a great deal offered at my local store, couldn’t decide which is best, so I got both to test them and return one.

iphone 17 and Apple Watch Ultra 2. Im trying to update to watchos 27.0.1 but once I click to update iphone gives a prompt its not connected with AW. They are 100% paired and connected.

Ive unpaired several times and reset my apple watch, restarted etc. No airplane modes, wifi & bluetooth on with both devices etc

Whats the issue?

Just curious how everyone on here keeps the back of their watch clean. Also how often you clean it. I’m wondering if Clorox wipes are safe to use on the sensor/housing.

After the last update I literally was only getting a day’s worth out of my Apple Watch Ultra 3 but with this new update, it’s finally back get almost three days worth out of it. I just put it on the charger a few moments ago

Connectivity, Bluetooth only. I have no data on this watch.. capacity health is 100%.

I love the ultra 2. Solid, big flat screen, sapphire glass, bright torch, dual band gps etc. BUT the silicon is aging and it’s heavy and big on my 6 1/2 inch wrist.

The 12 however its small 42mm, discreet, new sensor array, better metrics, does a lot of the same things as the ultra but not as impactful.

I think I’m keeping the 12 and I’ll see what Apple launch in 27 or 28. I’m enjoying the small watch and the new data, which i don’t particularly need 😂.

I'm having a hard time finding something that coordinates with, or at least somewhat matches, this bezel. I wish they hadn't discontinued the starlight. Starlight bands, in my opinion, don't look great with this, like they keep saying. Any help would be appreciated. Looking for something in metal that is adjustable. Thanks
