Discussion 3D Printing an Apple Music Edition iPod
The design language is not retro or a replica of the iPod, but rather based on liquid glass and modern design language.
What are your thoughts on this?

Tying it in with the Apple TV logo creates consistency between both of Apple's entertainment streaming services. It's still simple looking but better than basic black and white IMO.

The white icon feels like a blank canvas. Imagine it filling with color based on what you listen to, similar to Apple Card’s spending colors. Different genres, different colors. Light listeners get subtle hints; heavy listeners get richer blends, with a frosted glass music note on top. Thoughts?

Hey y'all! I just launched some new updates for EverySound, I thought I'd share what's new! For anyone new, EverySound's map mode is basically Every Noise at Once, but iOS-native, with full Apple Music integration and other quality-of-life features. It's a map of 6,000+ genres that you can pinch, zoom, and tap around, and it includes over 1,000,000 tracks!
I've recently added even more discovery features to the Time Travel section of the app, which now includes year-by-year browsing (going as far back as 1940) with Top 100 Singles, Top Albums, and a completely new section called Crate mode.
Crate mode was built to evoke the feeling of browsing a record store and digging through crates of unfamiliar records spanning eras, genres, and styles. For example, you can filter for only Funk/Soul albums released between 1965 and 1985, then browse within that set. The selection is randomized, so you'll always end up finding something you've never seen or listened to before! Each album in Crate mode is backed by a physical vinyl release and includes a link to its respective Discogs page. And as with the app's existing functionality, if you're already an Apple Music subscriber, you can listen to full tracks from the albums you discover right inside EverySound!
You can check it out here, let me know what you think!

Both the phone’s and the app’s language is Korean. Is this a bug?

What do they mean here? Isn't it already high-res? Is only 24bit/96khz high res? 🤔
Update: Apparently that particular track husn - anuv jain on both ios and android devices it's on lossless
But in my mac it works on high res lossless the same track
I've enabled high-res lossless on all ny devices and have changed the output to max settings (on all platform like we do in MIDI on macbooks)
Not sure on why apple has it this way, if someone knows the actual reason do let me know

This album came out like a week ago and out of nowhere, half the songs I've added don't wanna work anymore. I've gotten this annoying message for years on unofficial song files I've merged into my iCloud Library even tho I'm in Canada and I've never moved countries, but for this to start happening to stream files?? WHY.

I've only just discovered the bug in the latest update that means that my phone and tablet play counts haven't been syncing properly, so I've lost about 3 months worth of metadata. Is there any way to get this back? Is it stored in my phone? I've accessed my replay and I can possibly manually update the play counts for my top 30 played songs per month, is there a way I can see a longer replay list?
I've seen people say swapping my app to an older version allows the syncing the work again, but I don't want to do that until I know for sure I'm not missing out on downloading local data. Also I'm assuming that that only allows it to work again, it doesn't get your lost metadata back?
Hate that this update was released with such a bug.. I've used itunes and then apple music for 18 years, and the main reason is never switched to spotify is cos I love the metadata!
For info, I have a Samsung galaxy phone and tablet, both using the 6.5.3 app version. I also have a Lenovo laptop.

Hi,
i keep getting the message "there was an error connecting to apple account server". I'ved updated the itune store to the latest version and the issue still persists. Any solution for this? I'm on Win 11.

Why can I no longer play these songs? I had the physical copy and iTunes match is supposed to take account for this. I own the music, and Apple was just hosting it for me.
The particular album has just turned 20 years old and the band hasn't existed in nearly as long. It shouldn't matter though.

Why is Apple Music SO BAD at understanding musical style when creating a radio station based on a single song? It’s frustrating and makes me want to stop using the service.
Here’s an example: I ask it to create a radio station based on “Tiny Dancer” by Elton John. And Apple Music’s so-called supreme intelligence comes up with this sequence: “Under Pressure” (Queen), “New Rules” (Dua Lipa), “Perfect” (Ed Sheeran), “Your Song” (Elton John), “Smooth Criminal” (MJ)…
WHAT THE %#^*+= IS THE LOGIC BEHIND THIS SEQUENCE? And why does this keep happening? How can this experience be improved? My experience with Apple Music has been very frustrating!!!! It’s always like this!
For comparison, I asked ChatGPT to create a radio station based on “Tiny Dancer.” It understood exactly the kind of musical experience I was looking for:
Tiny Dancer — Elton John
Just the Way You Are — Billy Joel
Dreams — Fleetwood Mac
Ventura Highway — America
Piano Man — Billy Joel
Peaceful Easy Feeling — Eagles
The Logical Song — Supertramp
My Sweet Lord — George Harrison
The River — Bruce Springsteen
Your Song — Elton John
Based on just one song, ChatGPT understood the FEELING I wanted the music to evoke.
Lately, I’ve been absolutely fed up with Apple Music because of how TERRIBLE the user experience has become!

Jax Embedder will attempt to extract the album cover image for each track from the Music app database, and save it directly into your file's metadata for safekeeping, so you never lose it in case the Music database gets corrupted or lost.

Idk if it’s just me but I was making a playlist and my app crashed twice in a row and then when I went back on it I clicked on a song and instead of playing the song it played a Taylor Swift song from her new album. I’ve never searched it seen it clicked on it accidentally or even listened to it and even weirder as well all of a sudden it said I had listened to the whole album like three times when I went to history and it had queued her stuff to play after. Is this stream botting or something idk I always thought they just used fake accounts not hacked real ones

The application has stopped working on Windows 11 since yesterday. The web version works fine. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it from the Microsoft Store, but the problem persists. I’ve also tested it using a VPN and different internet connections, yet the issue remains. Does anyone have any ideas?

Tried to add a video of my screen recording, but this kinda sums it up. for some reason my apple music has each song on my playlist copied 4 times each and its gonna be very tedious to delete each duplicate, any suggestions???

This glitchy sound plays specifically on this song (and no other song, on no other streaming service) from 1:52 to 3:39 in the song. It still happens even if I use my phone speaker instead of my headphones. I think the weirdest part is it did this once about a month ago, it was fixed when it played the last time 2 weeks ago, and now its doing it again. Has anyone else had this happen, or know what the hell is going on here?

Multiple Queues:
Ever in the middle of an album and you want to come back to it later but don’t want to exit the queue to listen to other stuff? Imagine if you were able to save the queue and create a new queue so that you could come back to music right where you left off.

This whole situation is driving me mad. The Apple Music app on Windows 11 suddenly stopped playing music and failed to refresh content. After resetting/repairing the app, I am completely unable to sign in to my account.
Troubleshooting steps already attempted without success:
For a company of Apple’s size and resources it’s frustrating how poor the Apple Music experience is on Windows. If you're charging users for a service across platforms, you should at least provide a functional, well-optimized desktop app.
If anyone has any ideas, I’d be grateful.
In the meantime, I’ve found a solution that one user mentioned using the program sonora
