Hey y'all! I just launched some new updates for EverySound, I thought I'd share what's new! For anyone new, EverySound's map mode is basically Every Noise at Once, but iOS-native, with full Apple Music integration and other quality-of-life features. It's a map of 6,000+ genres that you can pinch, zoom, and tap around, and it includes over 1,000,000 tracks!

I've recently added even more discovery features to the Time Travel section of the app, which now includes year-by-year browsing (going as far back as 1940) with Top 100 Singles, Top Albums, and a completely new section called Crate mode.

Crate mode was built to evoke the feeling of browsing a record store and digging through crates of unfamiliar records spanning eras, genres, and styles. For example, you can filter for only Funk/Soul albums released between 1965 and 1985, then browse within that set. The selection is randomized, so you'll always end up finding something you've never seen or listened to before! Each album in Crate mode is backed by a physical vinyl release and includes a link to its respective Discogs page. And as with the app's existing functionality, if you're already an Apple Music subscriber, you can listen to full tracks from the albums you discover right inside EverySound!

Both the phone’s and the app’s language is Korean. Is this a bug?

What do they mean here? Isn't it already high-res? Is only 24bit/96khz high res? 🤔

This album came out like a week ago and out of nowhere, half the songs I've added don't wanna work anymore. I've gotten this annoying message for years on unofficial song files I've merged into my iCloud Library even tho I'm in Canada and I've never moved countries, but for this to start happening to stream files?? WHY.

Tried to add a video of my screen recording, but this kinda sums it up. for some reason my apple music has each song on my playlist copied 4 times each and its gonna be very tedious to delete each duplicate, any suggestions???

The application has stopped working on Windows 11 since yesterday. The web version works fine. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it from the Microsoft Store, but the problem persists. I’ve also tested it using a VPN and different internet connections, yet the issue remains. Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm on windows. The app was acting buggy so I reinstalled and when it came time to sign in, this error keeps popping up. I literally tried all the solutions I could find on the internet and nothing worked.

Multiple Queues:
Ever in the middle of an album and you want to come back to it later but don’t want to exit the queue to listen to other stuff? Imagine if you were able to save the queue and create a new queue so that you could come back to music right where you left off.

This glitchy sound plays specifically on this song (and no other song, on no other streaming service) from 1:52 to 3:39 in the song. It still happens even if I use my phone speaker instead of my headphones. I think the weirdest part is it did this once about a month ago, it was fixed when it played the last time 2 weeks ago, and now its doing it again. Has anyone else had this happen, or know what the hell is going on here?

Similar to a question I asked about NYT podcasts in a different sub - Is there any benefit to the listener to listening to radio shows in the music app vs the native podcasts app? I’m not sure why it’s available in both places.

This whole situation is driving me mad. The Apple Music app on Windows 11 suddenly stopped playing music and failed to refresh content. After resetting/repairing the app, I am completely unable to sign in to my account.
Troubleshooting steps already attempted without success:

1. performed repaired and reset via windows settings.
2. Removed and reinstalled the apple music from store.
3. cleared local data (appdata, localappdata. deleted adi)
4. checked and cleared windows credetial manager.
5. signed out and back into the windows stoer.
6. verified and resynced system date, time and time zone.
7. reset internet options.
8. flushed dns
9. verified no vpn, proxy, adblocker, or third party firewall is active.
10. tested under a newly created windows local user profile.

For a company of Apple’s size and resources it’s frustrating how poor the Apple Music experience is on Windows. If you're charging users for a service across platforms, you should at least provide a functional, well-optimized desktop app.

If anyone has any ideas, I’d be grateful.

This has randomly been happening much more frequently out of nowhere then a week later they're fine.

After completing one year of student subscription in apple music my subscription got cancelled automatically even after a payment method was already added for money deduction, It was very smooth during this one year but now the subscription has ended and I'm not able to get it again. I've reverified my student status on unidays, I'm a student till 2028 and want to get this benefit till then, please someone help me in solving this issue.

I accidentally unsynced my library and when I re synced, my playlists were out of the date order I had them in, It’s irrationally annoying and i’m wondering if anyone knows how to fix this lol

This is really driving me nuts. When I try to play a song on apple music android it just buffers for around 60-120 seconds and then sometimes plays it and sometimes it's just stuck like that.

For the record I'm trying to play lossless songs but the issue also does happen on lossy formats.

Also I haven't been able to play a single lossless song as it just buffers for a while and then just downgrades to lossy version of the song.

I am using the app with my Fiio K11 R2R Dac if that helps at all.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey everyone, I've been scratching my head about this so maybe Reddit can help.

I have an old XS Max I'm retiring and it has my entire music library (a mix of both MP3 and paid iTunes music) I've been carrying for years. Unfortunately, the Macbook Pro that housed that library that synced it to the old iPhone is currently dead. I may have plans to fix it in the future but not now.

I bought a new iPhone recently and restored from my old iPhone's back up. Obviously, the music didn't transfer over since it was synced from my now dead MacBook Pro.

Is there anyway I can remove all of the music off my old XS Max iPhone and transfer it to my new iPhone? Is that even possible?

I know that the songs/videos I bought via iTunes can be downloaded on my new iPhone but that's such a small chunk of the entire library which was a bunch of MP3s I had accumulated over a decade.

Please help! Oh, I'm actually syncing on a Windows PC with the Apple Devices application btw.

So I understand Apple Music needs to be “trained”. It’s been a few months, creating smart playlists to ensure my favourites all get played, engaging with the app, and all the important stuff.

In the Apple ecosystem fully…so wanting this app to work…
but have a Spotify and Youtube music account and they don’t need any work to get them learning my musical taste’s.
