Check out the Sharks Audio Network and the Sharks + SAP Center app for audio broadcasts of Sharks games and other podcasts regarding the Sharks and the Barracuda.

Longtime play-by-play announcer Dan Rusanowsky returns behind the microphone as the “Voice of the Sharks” with a team of color commentators covering select games, including Drew Remenda, Scott Hannan and Mark Smith.

Tune in 30 minutes before faceoff throughout the season for live pre-game coverage and stay on after the game for the live post-game show.

In addition to the live broadcasts the Sharks Audio Network will provide a variety of exclusive Sharks and Barracuda programming airing 24 hours a day.

Current game-day featured shows include Sharks talk programs "Morning Tide" with Ted Ramey and "Sharks Morning Skate" with Rusanowsky and Remenda. Two news features, "The Teal Report" and "The Buildup" air on game days leading up to pre-game coverage from the arena.

There is a variety of Sharks and Barracuda programs, including exclusive programming with Sharks Head Coach Ryan Warsofsky, Sharks GM Mike Grier, player profiles, game highlights and replays, catch-ups with Sharks alumni, classic Sharks games, as well as an opportunity for fans to interact with Sharks and Barracuda hosts and personalities.

Sharks personalities Randy Hahn, Drew Remenda, and Ted Ramey all contribute to the Sharks Audio Network programming.

If you're coming to from out of town to see the Sharks play, please check out the VISITORS GUIDE for some hotels, some food ideas, and other info which may help answer some of your questions about your upcoming visit. Some basic things to keep in mind:

* Doors open 60 minutes prior to game time for general admission.

* Tailgating is **NOT** allowed per San Jose City Ordinance. However, SAP Center **does** allow you to bring food from outside into the arena with you.

* The Sharks enter the ice and skate through the Shark Head from between sections 127-128. The most direct views of the Shark Head are from sections 115-121 in the lower deck and the lower rows of 215-221 in the upper deck.

* The Sharks attack towards the lower numbered sections (103-113 & 203-213) in the 1st and 3rd periods.

* Check out THIS LINK for the SAP Center bag policy.

This will be a weekly thread, so if you have more questions come back next friday!

My "Reading is Cool" Awards

Post image
54 Upvotes

Hello!, recently my mom sent me photos of my awards and medallions I recieved from Elementary, I remember around 1st grade-3rd grade or so , Sharkie came to my school and handed awards to the "top readers" (the top one is separate doesn't have to do with SJS) I can't remember if any players came to my school

I wanted to showcase them, I do not have any photos outside of this one , this was almost 15 years ago and my dad I believe unfortunately may have thrown them away 😢 I'm not completely sure but I need to look , but for anyone else who has lived in the bay area, did Sharkie ever come to your school too? I wanna see if anyone received similar awards and medallions, thank you!

Okay, so i know this probably isn’t game worn. But i’m curious if it’s authenticity. I notice it doesnt have the M. Celebrini on the back, just Celebrini but i got it for my Birthday. No tag on inside except that velcro thing at the bottom.

Blind Hockey coming to San Jose

Hey all, your favorite blind Sharks fan and former Mystery Puck purchaser here. The Dented Puck Foundation is partnering with the Sharks Foundation and BORP to bring a blind hockey skating event to Sharks Ice! The event is taking place on October 21st from 5:30pm-7pm at the 10th St. Sharks Ice facility.

I'm trying to gather more blind and low-vision Sharks fans and allies to come out to learn how to skate, and if there is enough regional interest, USA Hockey and the Sharks may establish a blind hockey team! This can lead to folks playing for the paralympics since blind hockey will become a recognized sport for inclusion in the coming years.

Please come out and show your support! See you on the ice!

Register for the Blind Skating and hockey event

What does it take to get Dickinson on the power play??

I understood it last year because they were trying to make him more responsible defensively and they were trying to buy low on Klingberg

I understood at the start of the season because Cagnoni has been grinding away (very effectively) with the barracuda and definitely earned his place on pp1

But in a game like last night where, going into it at least, you’re not planning on runnings cags on the pp1, why go Orlov and not Dickinson? it was a specialty of his in london and based on his play so far this season they’re letting him be a lot more active in the offense. Just seems weird to go back to Orlov considering he’s probably been the worst sharks dman this opening stretch. I don’t think it’s time for him to full time replace Cagnoni, but in a situation where Cags isn’t running the pp why not go Dicky?

Anybody know when the alternate jerseys will come out?

I'm waiting to see when the black jerseys will come out, and I'm really hoping they're not going to be the Cali Fin jerseys again (nothing against the overall jersey, just perfer the sharks logo)

SHARKS WIN!!! NED SAVES THE DAY

i’m BACK! i haven’t drawn in so long but with regular season wins comes dedication to my cause.
ned was so good today he gets all the head taps! it was absolutely so stressful and raised my blood pressure to excessive amounts. i was rolling around on the floor after that 0.8 sec goal. but it all came together in the end! go sharks! 🦈

what's the story on "Fear the Fin"?

Years ago, I used to read it and the other sb team blogs on the regular. I moved to other sites after the community seemed to get pretty toxic. I was honestly surprised to see it still exists! Are the main bloggers from back in the heyday still covering the Sharks? Are the current writers cool?

I'm genuinely curious!

Stitching//Embroidery Recommendations

Hi all,

I searched Reddit for older threads, but couldn’t find anything as of recent. I have a couple jerseys and several patches that need to be sewn on. Some of them require small repairs and a little bit of taking in since I’ve lost a bit of weight. Does anybody have any recommendations for places around the East Bay preferably San Jose or Fremont areas? Let me know. Thanks.

Stats card vs Nashville 15/10/2026

Another day, another win outside of regulation.

Interesting stats today, not sure if they 100% follow the eye test, but I can explain some of the obvious differences. So onto some key points:

- The uncs still got it. Liking their line, all are smart players and when they are not trying to keep up with our younger players they work really well, thought for a long time they where gonna have the only goal.

- Allan had a really good game. He is now 3-0 for the seasons, now not everything has been done to him but he is a dependable defenseman. Depending on who's 1st PP, Orlov or Cags can probably go when Nurse is healthy again. (maybe?)

- The 4th line shows up as not good here, but that is mainly because they (Chucky) took rather a lot of penalties and being a more defensive shutdown line, they also tend to be on the PK or 5v6, both of which got scored on.

- Defensive forwards as a whole often get underrated, generally the things which positively influence stats are the ones they go up against, so ofc the odds are worse for them to push those stats up.

- Cherny had some good shots but lacks consistency, it's why he got benched off the 1st line. If we can see consistency and confidence from him the 1st line would be much better.

- On that I added the 3rd chart which shows who players where going up against. You can see the 1st line was going up against the Stamkos, Kerfoot and O'Reilly line, which is a very strong shutdown line. It means teams fear them at least!?

- Great game from Ned, he should get the start.

Tschüss!
