Indie Sunday Zodiac Legion - Studio Draconis - turn based tactical RPG in which you lead an arcane chivalric order in dungeon raids, through a dynamic campaign

Hi again!

I am Alexandre, the developer of Zodiac Legion.

Zodiac Legion is a turn-based tactical RPG about leading small parties of knights on raids behind enemy lines, while rebuilding their order and managing the war on the strategic layer.

Recent gameplay footage:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zIgBX7tlNg

It's been four years since I first posted here, and the campaign is finally back in the demo, much closer to our original vision.

It now contains a small dynamic campaign in which you develop the Zodiac Order, deal with the surrounding kingdoms, research spells to empower your knights, and choose on which mission to send them.

Your small forces of knights conduct special operations against enemy strongholds, or raids to reclaim lost arcane knowledge and artifacts for the Order.

Characters are now able to survive some wounds that take them out of the fight. But if you abandon them on the battlefield, you may later have to pay a ransom or mount a rescue operation to recover them.

The enemy AI has also been made much more complex, with groups now trying to support each other instead of acting independently.

Formations have always been the main pillar of our combat system, with a support mechanic inspired by Blood Bowl, so we added more skills and abilities that play around them. Leo's Challenge, for example, lets him single out an opponent for a duel: weaker fighters on either side are discouraged from interfering.

The last time I posted here, I talked about our combat and layered armour system. You can now design the armour of your knights one piece at a time, balancing protection, coverage and encumbrance. Plate armour offers formidable protection against both steel and lightning, but in either case, gaps in your armour may prove fatal.

We've also spent a fair amount of time on less spectacular things that nevertheless made the game smoother to play: faster calculations and enemy turns, animation speed settings, clearer attack previews, reworked tutorials, and cascading tooltips.

The demo is available now if you want to give it a try during Next Fest, and it will remain available afterwards.

Thanks for reading!

Hi r/Games !

What is ArcaneBound?

You slay thousands of monsters, collect familiars that fight alongside you, and build your character as you progress through the game's zones:

- A card system: enemies and bosses drop cards (inspired by Ragnarok Online)

- Combine cards, skills and familiars to create your build

- Permanent upgrades unlocked across the campaign

And most importantly:

- More enemies than Stardew Valley

- A better aerial view than Call of Duty

- More projectiles than Euro Truck Simulator

The full game releases on November 23, 2026 on Steam (Windows / Linux / Steam Deck).

You can wishlist it if you’re interested.

Indie Sunday Butaro's Overtime Office - BronzeOrange Games - A funny desktop companion idler where you try to escape the corporate 9 to 5.

I turned my distaste for corporate jobs into Butaro’s Overtime Office, a desktop companion where a burnt-out salaryman lives on your screen, gets endlessly harassed by his boss, and questions his life choices.

You can decorate his cubicle, upgrade his stats, and slack off by playing the WasteBasket Warrior minigame.

This is my first game as a solo dev, so I’d love to hear what you’d want to see in the full version, and if you like it, a wishlist helps a ton!

Indie Sunday Umbraelum - Vallarius Forge - I'm making an action roguelite where getting stronger makes the dungeon more dangerous

Hey everyone!

I'm the solo developer behind Umbraelum, an isometric action roguelite set in a dark fantasy world.

In Umbraelum, you fight your way deeper into the darkness using melee combat, dodges, and spectral magic. But there's a twist: the more power you embrace, the more dangerous your journey becomes.

Each floor offers a shard of corrupted power. At first, these powers come without consequences. But as you collect more, corruption begins to take hold.

Rather than simply reducing your stats, curses introduce new combat hazards, like burning fissures appearing beneath your feet. These effects stack and intensify, forcing you to adapt as you descend.

You can also combine two active artifacts with corrupted powers and armor passives to create powerful synergies.

Gameplay teaser:

Steam page (Coming Soon):

The Steam page just went live, and I'd love to hear what you think of the corruption mechanic.

Would you keep taking more power as the curses pile up, or play it safe?

Indie Sunday One More Shake - XnaxlZzz_Studios - An incremental idle game about shaking vending machines

Hi everyone!

I'm a solo developer working on One More Shake, an incremental idle game where you flip vending machines upside down, shake out cans, earn money, and unlock upgrades to eventually automate everything.

I've recently redesigned the Steam capsule art and updated the store page.

I'm currently finishing up the free demo, which is planned to launch on Friday, October 23!

The game focuses on satisfying progression, lots of upgrades, and gradually turning a simple vending machine into an automated money-making empire.

Gameplay trailer: https://youtu.be/0NkanmrTpuw?is=ecsuijiAOeg4Z2Lp

Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4933650/

If the game looks like something you'd enjoy, you can add it to your Steam wishlist to follow its development!
