So I wanna upgrade the speakers on my Vita. I’ve heard that switch oled speakers are good to use but I also heard kindle fire ones are good too, and I just so happen to have a kindle fire 7th gen. I was just wondering if it’s as simple as just soldering the speaker wires to the contact points? Or is there anything I should be wary about? Or should I just not do it. Thanks for any advice 🙏🫰

My black ps vita 1k screen has a bunch of rainbow scratches on it, I believe I should replace it but everywhere I look I see screen replacements for over 80 CAD some even 100+ for reference I'm using eBay and the ones I found on AliExpress seem to not come with a frame, could I maybe try and polish it out? Or should I just pay 80+ CAD, sorry for no pictures, it's because they don't show in the photos at all but in person its awful.

They were all very well priced too. Would go crazy during a B2G1. Ever since the official GameStop retro pivot stores around me have been gradually getting larger selections of “retro”, but this was too shocking for me to share. Not an ad for GS I could never glowingly endorse them but credit where credit is due.

I'm trying to get the minecraft vita platinum trophy.
The last one I need requires you to play for 100 minecraft days (= +- 33 hours)
I estimate I've already got around 10 hours so I'm planning on leaving it AFK overnight and letting it 'rest' during the day. Is this safe?

I dont have a disassembly kit for it, is using a small flat screwdriver good as a pry tool is ok?

I’ve just bought some games on my PS3 in order to download them on the vita. I signed in using my account and I guarantee it was the same one I use for everything as I was able to add funds that appeared across all devices and it had the same account name and icon.

When I tried to download them onto my vita it comes up saying “Cannot start this application. The owner of this application is another player” I don’t really know how that’s possible when I bought them on the only PlayStation account I have. I’ve tried resetting my vita and signing in and out of the vita but it still comes up with the same error.

Has anyone else encountered this before and knows a fix? Thank you!

I have a PS Vita 1000 (PCH-1000), and unfortunately, the shell has gotten pretty dirty over time. I've always loved the look of the white PS Vita, and I'd really like to give my console a fresh, clean appearance.

Unfortunately, I can't afford to buy a skin or replacement shell right now, so I was wondering if anyone here could help me out with a free white PS Vita 1000 skin template, preferably in SVG or printable PDF format.

I'd especially love a design that keeps the original PS Vita logo visible and fits the PCH-1000 properly. If anyone has a free template, printable design, or any tips on making a clean white skin at home, I'd be incredibly grateful!

When I try to download something, it download normally but after 1-5 minutes wifi icon disappears and when I try to power off, it freezes.

Is any way to get my wifi normally downloading without it disconnecting?

My vita is acting strange,

I can switch it on and use the console for about 5 seconds then it becomes unresponsive and nothing works none of the controls or touch screen but prior to the 5 seconds before this stops everything works perfect. Any advice? Had hoped to take it away on holiday in a few days. Thanks.

hi i just got my first vita, it was listed as defective for cheap with all the buttons not working. after a quick search i figured out it was just the settings, and it did fix all the buttons except the d pad.

after opening it up, it seems like theres some water damage inside, should i just replace the left board and clean the residue? TIA

Went to the show, took a few pics with my Vita.

So after beating the game around 20 times, once the heart is no longer the final boss, and instead you go to the dungeon or the cathedral to beat the game, I started having frequent freezes and issues. Anyone else have that happen only at this stage of the game? Bugs happen early in the run too. Could it be Vita memory limitations causing this since nearly everything is unlocked.

Hi, I have a question that nobody ever asked, but why are PS Vita pictures so damn low res?

I've seen a couple of pics taken with a PSP camera and those were much more clear then the Vita ones.

And like I know its a camera for AR games mostly, but the Vita has a camera app. THEY KNEW THAT SOMEONE WILL TRY THIS!

Bought a used vita memory card off ebay and after it arrived, I put it in my system and attempted to format it to get the last person's stuff off it, but I keep getting this error. What should I do? This is an unmodified vita, if it matters.

I saw a lot of Psvita listings having this brownish screen when the console is turned off is it normal?
