5 years in the making 8/21/2021 - 10/18/2026

Having taken a break here and there for other games for real-life stuff and whatnot I knew that this one would be a joy to obtain.

Almost every aspect of this is honestly cinematic. From the opening scene to the side stories and all the characters you meet, flesh out the world so beautifully.

I knew I was nearing the end at that time, I hesitated to finish the story. This is one of the few games that left me with a strong feeling of joy and a little bit of regret. At the same time, it is one of the proudest trophies I've gotten to date.

Final Haiku

Eyes that saw my pain

Destiny divides our souls

Will death redeem us?

I finally did it, I got the platinum in the longest game ever!

My goal was to reach it before GTA VI.

Simply wonderful; every second of my 150 hours was worth it.

Was a pc/xbox gamer the whole time post ps2. Feel like I’ve missed out on alot not being able to plat hunt all those years. I love it though! Now contemplating if I should start a new game before GTA 6. (God of war 2018 is also platinumd but didn’t fit the ss)

Arkham Asylum, the golden formula for superhero video games and their god father, finally got its platinum after it stayed years in my backlog. So happy :’)

Platinum list very straightforward, no missables. I followed HaloCompletionist LASO guide and solo’ed the whole thing. In the big 2026 Halo 1 is just another shooter, but in 2001 this was the peak of FPS games. Halo 1 with my friends is a core memory from middle school. Grateful this game came to PS5.

After 650 hours and 3 completed playthroughs I finally platinumed Baldur's gate 3!

I'm very proud of this one and had to share.

My friend introduced me to this game in 2024 and it quickly became my all time favourite game!

Now I've got to do an honour mode run to get a nice 100% 😼😼😼

First Ys game I’ve played and I enjoyed it! Looking forward to playing the other games in the Ys series soon

Started when the Remastered came out to keep me busy while waiting for GTA6 but got addicted , what a fantastic experience one of the best games ever made ! Now onto the DLCs I’ve heard good things .

Late for spooky season this year so I needed a quick one. Beautiful game, super creepy. A decent number of collectibles, but there's chapter select and the game is pretty short so not too bad. Would definitely recommend 👌

I platinumed the PS5 version of this back in 2023. With it being Spooky Month, I decided to come back to it and plat the PS4 version. This game is a love letter to Lovecraftian horror. The story and gameplay was fun and enjoyable when the first platinumed it. Now though, this game’s story hit a lot harder.

The story revolves around amnesiac fisherman as you uncover his story of the grief and loss he suffered. I stilled this platinum on October 11, 2026. Not 24 hours later, my 11 year old dog went to the vet to be put to sleep. He had been suffering from joint pains, spasms and other issues to the point that it was obvious that he was ready to go.

Finishing this platinum and completing the fisherman’s story strangely made the grieving process easier. Watching the story and both the endings, felt weirdly comforting. This might also be attributed to a few of the other platinums recently that also dealt with grief.

I can’t recommend this game enough. Love you Tomma. You were my best friend for over a decade and you will always be with me.

Brought Alan Wake II earlier this year on sale, and been sitting on it with the plan to play it in October for Halloween. Really enjoyed it and plan to jump into the DLC soon as well.

Really fun game and a great platinum...minus the glitchy Blade in the Crowd trophy. Also I did that free DLC and got all the trophies there except the one for doing all the boxes for each challenge for every mission, not worth it.

Side Note: I know I just started the A-Z challenge but with this month's PS plus catalog being a couple of good ones and my subscription expiring in the middle of February, I will be trying to platinum: Mafia The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West and Tales of Arise and its expansion DLC. Also any other PS Plus titles on Extra Tier. Then I will get back to the A-Z challenge.

It took me like 60 hours to get it, I enjoy every single one of it.

Isso aqui me fez perder alguns bons anos de sanidade, mas vale a pena!
