For context: Recently these motherfuckers supposedly changed the system to force us to PAY UPFRONT to even go online. Either we can pick paying 15% of anything we make or a fixed 24-72h fee (paid 72 BRL for 24h) and supposedly they would stop taking their cut from every goddamn trip. Here I am paying 72BRL upfront, had to work almost 2h for free for Uber before my balance was not negative, and yet, these BASTARDS are still charging a massive fucking fee in every trip. Double charge seems like highway robbery for me!!!!

I’ve been averaging mid 200’s per day. Monday was my highest earning but I was also active the longest (I was minutes within the automatic cutoff). Today (Friday) was a special kind of day. I got a $56 tip for a 6 mile delivery and a $36 total on my last trip. The rest are ~$6 - $9 and then I hope to get bundled deliveries that are going to the same location.

Anyone know the rules around driving with a temp tag (specifically Las Vegas/ Nevada drivers) buying a new car in a little bit and Nevada is super slow at sending out plates… don’t wanna sit around a couple months waiting for the plates… thanks :)

Ok guys, I usually don’t post but I see a lot of what goes on here, for context, I woke and drive in the Boston area. In 2024 I had an issue with a duplicate account and we actually got the issue resolved. Yesterday at 3am I was prompted with the insurance card update so I sent it in. And 5 minutes later deactivated for duplicate account. 30 calls later, an appeal, everything for the agents to just say the account has my information, my picture, my license. When in 2024 we got this cleared up and fixed. That second account deleted. What’s my next steps to deal with really getting this fixed.

I had an area surging, so I put on area preference, go online, surges disappear. Which, okay, no big deal... Uber always does that, I just need to log off and go back online to get the surges to stay.

Log off, surges re-appear, put area preference back on, go online, surges disappear.

Not a huge thing, unless Uber starts spamming rides while trying to put area preference on while logged in. But still, shows what a POS Uber is to program that.
