I'm building a small community of likeminded Jews (and anyone who has a connection with or affinity for the culture or religion, no matter what your personal background) and figured I'd throw a line out here as well.

About us: So far, I have a little burgeoning group of folks in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. We do talk politics and make an effort to see each other's perspectives; we're all left of center, but have a range of personal labels when it comes to the z word, and we meet up to talk about that in a nuanced, sane, compassionate way. Today is a good day to get out and vote. No lines and parking up front.

This is consistent with previous years. As is longest wait times being in Cary, Fuquay and Wake Forest.

Overall voter turnout is up 80% so far over the 2022 (last midterms).

Go vote, bring your photo ID. Be nice to poll workers and other voters. Ignore the people shoving voter guides into your hands.

Check your voter reg the next day to ensure your ballot was accepted.
