Mondo Medicals [PC] [2010-2017?] Indie psychological horror about mental health and exploring a maze / spiral ?

Post image
60 Upvotes

[Edit : found by Coolboyyo in the comments !

It's Mondo Medicals !]

Hello !

I am looking for a game I remember playing on Steam on my older brother's computer when I was young.

(It's not Moirai btw !)

Please see picture attached + text

- 2010-2017 ? Maybe before 2010 but I doubt it. + It might not have been steam but in my memory this is where I found it, in my brother's game library. [IT'S 2007 !]

- Very simple game, french or english language. 3D / Fake 3D first person pov + I don't think you could really move the camera. [You CAN move the camera ! And it's real 3D !]

- Artstyle was VERY simple. The sprites were simple pixel art (kinda like in the Moirai game) stretched to look big.

- Color palette : Black, White, grey, skin tones, Maybe red if there was blood ?

- Scary game, potentially psychological horror ? The theme definitely had something to do with mental health, maybe mental illness ? Maybe memories ? [The theme is related to Cancer]

- Dialogs or not ? Maybe the dialog was just the text next to the character's heads. Maybe it was voice-acted but I doubt it...

- Not much violence or combat but I think it involved a chase sequence ?

- The game was composed of multiple scenes / chapters... I mostly remember the ones where you explore big spiral mazes and find random characters...

- It was on steam I think. But it was very indie looking.

- Not a lot of music. Maybe footsteps when you walked ?...

- I remember most characters being men and I really think there was a doctor amongst them... But I feel like I remember women sprites as well... [The character are simple humanoids wearing screens for their heads, sometimes it's a face showing on their screen]

- Not shown too much in my sketches but sometimes you were in the dark I think.

This is all I can remember. If you have any idea, don't hesitate ! ❤️

+ I asked my brother and he doesn't remember it + we can't find the game in his game library... Which is why it's strange. Was it just a random itch.io game ? Maybe a gamejam game ?

Madosa [Android] [2010s] Game about upgrading a magic flame

Thumbnail gallery
46 Upvotes

The mood of the game was dark, but not in a horror way but in mysterious way? There was a hand, there was a guy, there was the magic flame stuff

Gameplay was very simple. It's like a dexterity game where you unlock a lock. Rune lock? A type of lock with multiple layers you had to stack together

The overall goal was just to unlock more colorful flames with special animated effects. No lore as far as I can remember

Sorry for scribbles. I don't remember the graphics very well. I think it was flat-art? With bloom from the light source and a highly animated/dynamic flame

Project Pokémon [Mobile][2020-22] A Roblox game that I played during Lockdown

Post image
35 Upvotes

This is a 3d model of a part of the game I made from memory.

It was a Pokemon game in roblox. The above pic is a section I remember. [Scale not to match+There was no pink pokemon(chancy beside the trainer, just a representation)]

You could jump by the corner of the slope and reach the trainer with the Chancy. He only had 1 pokemon (chancy) which was at 1HP and any damage move would kill it/if you used a status move then also it wont attack you. Upon killing you would get so MANY LEVELS that you would fully evolve the pokemon that killed the Chancy.

I dont remember the name or the bushes but it has that Turn Based fighting system.

I played it on mobile so I wont know if it was available on PC as i didnt have mine at that time period.

I WILL probably not exist on the roblox platform anymore(due to copywrite) but any videos or other people who remember this ROBLOX game?

The Blob (PC) [PC] [2008-2013?]: • Identifying a game where you roll a blob/creature, gobble colourless (people?) up, and change them into bright colours.

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to find the name of a game i used to play with my brother. I recently looked up de blob, and while the concept is similar it’s not quite the right match.

In the game I'm remembering, you control a giant blob or creature that rolls around and gobbles up people or creatures, turning into one solid colour. However, unlike de Blob, the creature wasn't super active, like it didn't really jump around, sprint or smash into things dynamically. It had a much more passive vibe. I remember me and my brother used a joystick to control the thing. The background of the game was greyish and only the creature was coloured. The game was 3D.

I could be wrong in quite a few of the details. Thanks.

Clouds & Sheep [Mobile] [2013(?)]Help me find this old mobile game about sheeps!

(I tried to draw out what I remember but I can't draw lol) It was this old game where you would take care of sheep by feeding them grass and buying them toys and stuff. There was some form of currency you would get every time the sheep played with something you bought and I remember the gray sheep was rare I think? You could buy them balls and trampolines but there was this fenced off area to the side that I think was for some future update or something. Please help me find this game! I loved it as a kid!

Let's Find Larry! [PC?][Not sure when it came out] Indie horror game that starts off innocent

I saw someone play it but I don’t know much about it. Would love to try it this Halloween season. It looks like an indie game, it starts off innocently about finding a character from a top down perspective. Then you realise after several levels that you are harming the character by finding him. Then it gets darker for the player’s perspective too. Cheers all happy October!

[PC][2015-2025] 1st person 3D horror game with realistic graphics where you are hiding from a family member(I think) because they are acting strange but in the end you found out you were crazy and in reality you were the one terrorizing THEM

I've seen a streamer playing this a few years back and they dont put the name of the game in the title.

I am pretty sure it was indie, available on PC and if I remember correctly I think it was a "sister" we were scared of. The whole game you see her moving around the house and in the end you somehow learn everything she was doing was normal but you were crazy

I dont know if it was in reality a sister but pretty sure it was a family member. She was presented as being human and I am pretty sure the character you're playing is also human, although by the end its possible the big plot twist is that he(or she), the character we are playing is clinically insane.

[PC] [Early 2000s] 3D Pac-Man Style Puzzle Maze Game

Thumbnail gallery
6 Upvotes

It was a game with a VERY similar look to Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness and Pac-Man Adventures in Time but with an emphasis on puzzle solving not pellet collection. I specifically remember (though it may not be entirely like this) a space level aesthetic (see image 1)

I remember the enemies weren’t just out to get you they had specific attack patterns (see below) and there were soecific puzzle elements that made getting to the exit of a level difficult such as pushable boxes that can block you if not pushed carefully.

One specific layout that I remember involved a long walkway and an enemy that would chase you as soon as you were in it’s sightline so you’d have to run down the walkway quickly as you would immediately be chased by the enemy which I remember possibly being a clear and blue copy of the player character? (see image 2, (excuse poor drawing) enemy is asterisk, player is circle)

This would have been on my mums windows laptop some time in the early 2000s we got the game from a friend who was German (though not sure if this is a red herring) and my mum is not tech savvy enough to have been able to set up some kind of emulator back then so I assume it was just a general PC game.

Please help!

[PC/Flash] [2012 or before] Point and click horror game where a little devil (satan?) has to witness you burry something to get the true ending or something like that

I have really faint memories cuz I was a kid playing it and it used to scare the shit out of me. Its one of those realistic point and click horror games (backgrounds are probably real pictures).

Only things I remember is that an angel appears at some point (probably a jumpscare) and theres a part where you are outside of the house, looking at the woods and a little devil quickly dashes in and out of the screen. I remember reading somewhere as a kid that you needed him to witness you doing something to get something else.

[PC][2010s] MMO game similar to animal jam but with doll-like characters

This is a childhood game of mine I remember playing in Elementary school. One of the main things I remember were that the playable characters resembled American girl dolls, and the currency was kips. You could buy an animal friend, like a panda or a bunny, and room sets.

There were also parties similar to Animal Jam, so I assumed the game was riding off the success of Animal Jam.

I assumed the game was released in the 2010s, since that was when Animal Jam came out and suddenly grew in popularity.

There was a trailer where the animal companions were superheroes.

I remember the doll-like characters, the majority of the playable characters being girls, and the animal companions. but the name was difficult to remember, I assumed it was Kipsworld, but that wasnt right.

[PC] [~2006] fantasy game where “darkness” changes your companion and you help save your companion, sacrifice others, ends badly.

Hey everyone, may be hard but I need help. Trying to remember the name. Played ~2006. I think it was on GameTap. Here’s everything I can remember: its a fantasy game, you have a companion. It’s a long game. There’s definitely combat. About halfway through this “darkness” comes to get you. They get your companion and changes their body somehow. They have to communicate with you so you can figure out how to get them back. It’s all based on how well you knew them. I remember having them tap on your knee to communicate with you. I remember there’s a woman a the orchard who asks if you’ll sacrifice everyone else including your mother or your child with the companion to get him back. You can choose to do so or not. I do remember if you get them back, the game ends with the darkness getting both of you anyway. I’m sure that “darkness” or “dark” was not part of the name of the game at all. Any help appreciated.

[PC / STEAM OR ITCH ][2025-2026] Game a gladiator + wizard shopkeeper

Platform(s): PC

Genre: Gladiator styled game

Estimated year of release: I played a demo version of the game between 1-3 yeas ago.

Graphics/art style: 3D graphics, kinda like Examina but with a normal third person view, instead of top down.

Notable characters: There were a shop keeper who was a wizard that you could attack and kill.
I remember one of the enemies in the arena being a guy with 2 dogs who you had to fight.

There were also 2 brothers as enemies when you progressed further.

Notable gameplay mechanics: You spawned inside of a chamber, or old castle looking dungeon. You could pick up torches on the wall and open barrels to loot. There were a steel gate that would open everytime you talked to the wizard and said you were ready to fight. Then the battle begun, the enemies got harder and harder, and after each fight you had some money to buy armor, weapons and so on. You could pick up enemies weapons as well and sell it.

Other details: This was just a demo of the game, but I do not remember the name of it. I dont remember if I saw it on itch or steam.

The closest resembling image of the game I can give is a mix between "We who are about to die" with the "Examina" graphics.

I remember there being classes, like magic, swords, axes and others.

It was a small arena you entered were you had to fight the enemies and afterwards run back to the spawning area, and talk to the wizard shop keeper.

I know it aint a lot, but I really hope someone has an idea of what it could be!

[PC][LATE 2000'S-EARLY 2010'S] DUNGEON CRAWLER

In the late 2000's or 2010s I used to play a game with my cousin ( it was single player but we took turns) it was a dungeon crawler that was a 3rd person ( top down) game where you would take your charachter into different dungeons fighting blobs, rats, wolfs, monsters, deamons etc and collect items such as weapons coins etc. This would have been a game that could be downloaded through windows preloaded game store ( windows games live IIRC)

Fate is close to what it was but its not what I remember exactly.

[PS2][Unknown] Open-world 3rd person police game, crosshair turns green on innocents and red on criminals

Okay, I'll tell you the whole game from the best of my memory.

In short;

The game begins with the player waking up in a house. I don't remember exactly what the house looked like, but I know the house were white, there was a swimming pool, and a garage with a car inside.

The player leaves his house and then goes to the police station and finds a man in front of a computer. The man was looking at the computer, but when the hero entered, he took his eyes off the computer and looked at the hero and started to talk a little. He was speaking in English, and at that time I did not know English, as I was a child (I am an Arab, not English, and until now I do not speak English well. I am speaking here entirely through translation, I will not lie to you, haha). Anyway, the man started to talk and then pointed to a room and told the player to enter it.

The player entered the room and found—well, how should I put it—practice, practice, specifically with the pistol. The room contained some wooden boards that were clearly designed for shooting practice; this was evident from their shape. All the player did was walk around the room and shoot at these boards.

The player completed the first task, which was practicing with that pistol, and then went out, only to find that outside there was a criminal inside a red car who was running away. The player and the rest of the police entered the police cars and began to chase the man inside the red car. As a player, you should only not lose the man; you should only chase him. That's all you should do. You shouldn't kill him, for example, or shoot him because that's pointless. Believe me, I tried to destroy the car. The important thing is.

After that chase, my memory faded. I don't know exactly what happened, but I do know that the red car was destroyed and the criminal escaped down the alley. You, the player, were holding your gun and running after the criminal, chasing him down the alley. And well, that's where the mission ended.

The city in the game had no police, but as you started completing missions, the police began to appear. I honestly don't know if they appeared suddenly after a certain mission or gradually, as I was just a child. But what I do know is that the city was without police, and that the police would appear once you started completing missions.

Oh, right, I forgot to tell you, the aiming indicator in this game was different from the aiming indicator in other games. In other games, the aiming indicator turns red if it hits the target, no matter where the target is—a bad citizen, for example—it turns red. But in the game I want, the indicator turns green if it hits an innocent citizen who hasn't done anything wrong. If you shoot this citizen, they run away. But if the aiming indicator hits a criminal, it turns red. And if you shoot and kill them, they usually pull out a weapon and fight you—they're truly evil. You could say you have a compass that lets you distinguish between good and evil. The aiming indicator turns green with peaceful citizens, but with bad villains, it turns red.

I remember in my childhood I had a strange habit: I would walk down the street and point a target at people. If their target was red, I would kill them; if it was green, I would let them go. I don't know why I did this, but I did it.

The game is available on PlayStation 2.

Well, I hope I haven't made a mistake in describing the game to you, and thank you...

[N64/PS1/2][1998-2001] Racing game in space

I faintly remember my brother having a game when I was a kid, really young, and I swear it had a little brown pick up or some kind of pick up a vehicle and there was a hidden track and instead of showing an outline of a map, it had a stereotypical gray alien there.

[PC] [2000] looking for a racing game

I played a racing game on my mom's computer, it was an old computer and an old game, but I remember the hovercraft, ski slope, a long road, and on some maps there were explosives placed which would explode when touched. I don't remember a lot sadly, the hovercraft was my favorite, as was the slope map.

Metro 2033 [Xbox One] [2010s] Russia nuclear winter with demons

I remember seeing my dad play a game that I'm pretty sure was set in Russia following the events of a nuclear war, sending either the country or the planet altogether into a nuclear winter. Afaik it was an fps game with the main enemies being demons(?). I was like 10 or 12 at the time, so I might be misremembering. I can't really remember anything else about the game, sorry for the very limited information

[PC/Flash][2007-2009] 3D Point-and-Click puzzle where a cat watches fireworks at the end

PC (I played it offline from a ZIP archive) Point-and-Click / Cause-and-Effect Puzzle / Interactive Card game

The background scene was a static, muted, and somewhat realistic 3D render. It featured a greyish house and a green lawn/backyard in front of it.

The game starts during the day. As you complete the correct actions, the scene transforms from daytime into a dark night sky. In the final cutscene, the cat (and possibly the dog) are sitting, with their backs turned completely to the player. They are looking away from the camera, staring at the sky when colorful fireworks start exploding. No human characters were present on the screen.

There is no inventory system, you just used your cursor to click on objects spread across the lawn in the correct sequence.

My mom brought that game from her office work in a ZIP folder, but she doesn't remember anything of it.
