I’m looking to audition at a few nightclubs in Miami, I’m more of the petite girl with curly hair kind of girl and have some experience. I’m really needing work rite now and I live in Miami, I just don’t know which clubs are open and need suggestions? Can anyone let me in the loop please?

I wasn’t coming from a positive and healthy sex life when I started this job. And I never had that. So after being in this job, I’ve still not had that, but on top of it all this daily sexual harassment and objectification issues. What is my goal? I want to feel sexy, on my terms, but I also don’t want it to be my identity and my sense of self worth. I just want to feel like it’s possible to have a sex life where I’m not thinking of how the man sees me. If he sees me as too slutty or too wholesome or whatever scale in between. I want to not think of club flashbacks when I’m with a partner. Or have a reaction after sex because I’ve never been held after or given aftercare.

This sounds like one of those weird stories that men write but it’s not. Yes I entertain men but I’m 🏳️‍🌈Gay af lol. My duo parter is as well ( Duh). We normally don’t drink at work as we both used to get carried away as baby dancers but now years later we just find that we make better money being sober. We market ourselves as twins and we are always busy all night in the shower rooms or champagne rooms. A whale texted me and my duo partner ( Let’s call her Francesca ) and told us that he was coming in and he brought us two bottles of wine each. IT WAS XXL 🤦‍♀️. Mind you, our tolerances are low asf cause we barely drink anymore and XXL is like 15%. We’ve been close since we started together and even hang out outside of work but I let myself really get into it last night. I never get horny because of the men that we deal with.

Anywho, long story short I let her rub all over me like normal , we spent 4 total hours in the champagne rooms and I let my gay flag fly, man. We always kiss in our rooms so that’s not unusual but it went really far this time and I let her eat me out and then vide versa. I don’t regret any of it , we both were super drunk. Nobody said anything to me but I’m so scared that my managers are going to be upset with us, I’m not sure if we took it too far. There was champagne and money everywhere and then next thing I know, our whale is watching us and we are paying him no mind. I’m super scared to face my managers, so far nobody has said anything to me. Sometime it gets lonely being a gay dancer and it was nice to kinda let loose with my friend that I trust 🫠🫠

I feel like it's only an European clubs' problem (I didn't hear about clubs like this outside of Europe), but way too many clubs use this abusive tactic. What do I mean? The clubs that aren't focused on good profit or good dancers, they just want ones that are addicted to alcohol or drugs. For alcohol, they will give out the free shots, for drugs, cheap prices. Those girls will work for just this. There's no good salary, good percentage or clients that spend good, just cheap options to satisfy their addiction.

And the clubs are more than okay with selling mostly drinks to clients (and maybe cheap privates) and not much more.

Each time I end up in a place like this, it just makes me so sad. Because I had family members with addiction and I know how much more those girls would make if they stayed sober.

It's mostly clubs in Eastern Europe or ones that hire mostly girls from Eastern Europe. I know those girls know no better (as they used to go the same, but with worse money in their home countries), but I wish there weren't clubs that will use their addiction in such a disgusting way.

I don't know what else I can say, I just hope those girls will find a way out of their addiction and realize they can work in much better clubs.

I weighed like 115 pounds when I started dancing. My ass was so flat that my back basically went straight down into my legs. ZERO curve 😭

Weighed myself recently and I’m 150 pounds now, despite being the same height. I was genuinely confused because I don’t feel like I look 35 pounds heavier, but I guess I’ve gained more muscle than I realized from dancing.

Anyway, I was looking through old pictures and holy shit, I did NOT realize how skinny I used to be. Thank god I’ve finally got some thicker thighs and a little bit of ass now 😭🙏

Don’t fall for it. Say something like, “I don’t think I’ll have any trouble tonight :)” and be just as aggressive as you usually would. If there are no other customers, go sit in the locker room. Don’t let them think they can get free attention just because it’s slow.

Last night I danced for a guy in his late 40s, well-behaved and a very good tipper. Those qualities together bring out the yee-haw in me and we had a genuinely fun time. I ended up letting him play with my tits and I gave him some lap friction until he got off. Further than I usually go, but my choice and it was all good.

MEANWHILE my roommate's dad has been in town for work. You can see where this is going lol. I hadn't met him yet (or so I thought). This afternoon he came by our dorm to pick us up and take us out to lunch. And of course, he's the guy.

When we met at first he just looked confused, like he couldn't place me. And then the light went on his eyes and he looked like he was going to die. Thank GOD my roommate didn't pick up on anything. Lunch was awkward but actually pretty nice. We pretended to have a normal conversation. My job did not come up lol. I work tonight/tomorrow and I wonder if he'll be back...

This SOB was filming the dancers up on stage doing a double, specifically to post and make fun of one of them.

Now she was a much thinner girl, smaller booty, but bless her heart she was shaking that thang anyways! And the comments were just tearing her up. 😮‍💨

For one thing, all you hear in that crowd in the video? Is those girls getting hyped tf up!

And for another, if she's shaking it up there anyways? I guarantee she makes her money just fine! I'm also very slim, small booty small titties and have some lose skin from weight loss. The customers quite literally don't give a fuck. People really don't think guys. Like what makes these people think we'd do ANYTHING on stage that doesn't work for us? It'd be a waste of time and a stage set.

So many nasty comments about flat as a pancake ass, her knees are knocking more than her ass is shaking, did the manager not see her ass when they hired her....I could go on and on.

I'm just sick of the shitty people and the assumption STILL that a girl HAS to be a perfect 10/10 to even DESERVE to strip? Man GTFO here.

Obviously I know people suck and there's judgement no matter what, it's just exhausting and irritating.

So, it's my first time in a club like this. There's no vip room, just a few tiny rooms that look all the same. I used to work in a club with no special vip, but there always were some bigger rooms that I would sell as "vip" and create the whole experience. You know, expensive champagne, the room being bigger etc. But there's no option for creating that experience. All rooms are all the same, just separated by some curtain, no champagnes at the club, no "special promotions" for somebody that spends more (like just offering a free shot or anything). And I don't have any idea how to sell anything other than those single dances (we also cannot sell anything else, do our own prices etc. Just multiplication of 10 minutes privates. Nothing else on the menu, except alcohol for clients).

Any tips on how to upsell in clubs like this? To make the guy feel like his not paying for just a few dances in a row.

They are a common phenotype of customer. Usually detailing multiple stories of how they’ve dated, moved in, married, went on trips with other strippers, etc.. They come into the club, do the bare minimum of buying a couple hundred dollars of dances or a weak ass 30 minute VIP, then only tip $20 after spending the entire time implying they could afford more. Often times I hesitate to believe their stories until they pull out a camera roll offering a slideshow of other dancers I actually know looking stupid AF on dinners and vacations with them. I am humbly begging y’all to stop dating broke old men and allowing them to photograph you for a few hundred dollars. Be so for real 💀

I’ve not been a dancer for long but I’m still absolutely devastated and stressed for Brass closing. It affects all over the GTA and leaves more extras clubs than not in the surrounding areas, leaves only TWO (legitimate) options in the city despite the license being $500, and is setting this weird standard for clubs that pretend not to hire strippers and create an unsafe environment. I know the Zanzibar and Filmores owners have mentioned wanting to reopen if they could, and I imagine there’s more people out there who would be open to starting a business in the city if not for the bylaws.

I wanna reach out to Maggie’s to help organize with this since they have more resources for reaching dancers and more experience with advocacy. But just thought I’d ask here if anyone was interested in actually trying to organize and would wanna stay connected.

Obviously it’s a long process but this is a whole generation of our industry being affected and it could be the difference between hundreds of dancers affording a home or a retirement. Our job market is already overwhelmed as is and nobody’s gonna look out for us otherwise.

I try not to care because I know many evil people come in to step on the girls.

However, lately I’ve been hearing customers say «she’s ugly»- like damn 💀💀💀

It’s getting too much now, how the hell do you deal with that/not let it affect you?

I work at a semi-decent club. they take basically half of the room and of course they charge customers to use their card so if it’s a $700 room we get half then we have to tip out 20% of our money. they claim of course, that is optional, but if we don’t, they will look for reasons to fire you or just make your job harder than what I already is. We already have to pay 20 to 30% of our money really 40% in taxes and then we have to think about the expenses that goes into working plus we have to pay a house fee. I just feel like all my money is being taken. Yes, I make good money but Why are you taking 50% of my income and this is the only nicer club in my area. There are two other clubs, but the only reason why this is feasible for me right now is because I have other income outside of the club and I’m basically using this as a side hustle to save.

Was in a VIP room talking about idk what but just life and going back and forth connecting on experiences. He had been through it himself and I was being empathetic and also sharing my experiences. And then all of a sudden he pulls out… yeah that’s why I like young girls around 20 years old because they haven’t been through all that yet like you have.

So I tried a couple of new clubs this past week and it’s just been awful… there is one that I tried that a lot of girls overhyped and honestly, I had such a terrible night. On top of it it’s just so far from my home 😞 thankfully the management liked me and said Im welcome to come back and try this weekend cause allegedly it’s way busier and better. But I’m so tired of only making a couple hundred a night. It’s honestly bullshit

I kind of had a thought and wanted to know your guys’ opinion… do you think getting boob jobs, nose jobs, lots of filler, etc (like an insta baddie/influencer look) attracts more upper class customers?

I feel like outside of the club and in the real world, surgery has become a wealth signifier. Women are now just getting surgery to look more expensive and show that they have money, and wealthy men are used to being around those women. Or they want to seek out the “expensive” look, because they can afford anything.

My look is very clean cut- I’m blonde, white, petite but on the tall side, and I have an athletic body with visible muscles. But I don’t always attract the richest guys. I’m not sure if my problem is because I’m too natural/girl next door. I am the best at attracting working class men or nerds, and they can be great spenders too. But it seems like I rarely end up with the guys who are dropping thousands in VIP or throwing thousands in sections. I’m really good at doing lots of dances and selling lower-tier VIPs, but I average like $100 per customer. I‘ve still done my fair share of hour VIPs and have $1k nights often in season. But it seems like I never attract the guys dropping like $5k+ and I just started working in a new club where it seems like that‘s a more frequent occurrence. I try to look expensive by getting my hair and nails done, getting Botox and lip filler (but not a ton), and wearing lashes, but I still constantly get called natural. I don’t know if they’re just referring to my body, bc this is also in south FL and I‘m skinny with small natural boobs. I feel like the girls that the customers are spending thousands on are the ones with the insta face and very high end look.

What do you guys think?? I just want to know people’s opinion. I wouldn‘t change my entire look and get surgery just because of this, but I just want to know if anyone agrees with me or if there’s any other traits that wealthy men tend to seek out. (I would definitely consider some procedures in the future, but only because I want them and not for this reason.)

I’ve been rejected left and right and the one time I’m about to close in on a room, I get called on stage and another girl takes my place. I’m so fucking desperate I’m about to crash out. I’m not blaming another dancer for having a good hustle, but I can’t help feeling so fucking angry that that would have been the dance that could have helped me not leave with nothing, and I lost it. My eyes are red and my hustle mindset is out the window now. No one wants a sad stripper. Fuck this.

Lowkey surprised there isnt more info on the clubs in this area. I'm contemplating a move here for non work related reasons but would be interested in dancing while here.

Anyone have any recent insight on what the clubs are like for non traveling dancers?

Pay cuts, scheduling, earnings etc? Much appreciated!
