I’ve tried just about everything from online forums, I’ve updated the firmware, tried resetting my mouse, even cleaned out the sensor but my cursor still doesn’t move. All buttons work without issue. Any ideas on how to fix this or is it ggs for this mouse?

Hey all I've been looking at buying the new sensei pro mouse cause I really like the concept of the rechargeable batteries, and they only thing that's putting me off from buying it is the face it isn't an mmo style. I really love mmo style mouses so I'm having a very hard time justifying the purchase of the sensei pro. So do you think they'll ever make a mmo style or should I just get the sensei pro

I got this mousepad like two weeks ago and the center sits flat but the sides of it and around the edges have like an air pocket under them, so for every night these last two weeks ive laid books along the sides to try and get it to flatten and ive seen like 0 improvement.
Do these pads just never flatten fully on the outer edges because of the base they use or do I need to get like a hydraulic press and flatten it out? Im starting to wonder if maybe the issue wont go away regardless and im just curious if anyone else has had this problem and what you did to fix it.

How is it that there hasn't been a patch to make the Aerox 9 not connect faster after waking up from sleep? It HAS to be a software thing because instead of waiting 30 seconds to a minute for it to wake up I can LITERALLY turn it off and on again and it immediately connects every time. I've done research and found archived posts from 4 years ago that I cant participate in which is why Im making one now to follow up. Reddit users correct me if Im wrong because I hope I am.
I love everything about this mouse except the ridiculous time it takes to wake up from sleep. Well actually the buttoms on the side are hard to press and wish they were mechanical but other than that its been amazing.

Hello,
Can anyone help me with one single led on my keyboard that’s out of place?
r/steelseries • u/ryhaltswhiskey • 17h ago
When you open the app it gives you a big notice that the app will not work in future versions of Mac OS.
The support page says you should just use Windows.
But I use my headphones at work because that's when I need them the most. And work is on a Mac. Like many software developers these days I use a Mac at work. Because Windows kind of sucks for software development.
That's all, just venting. I would expect a premium company like Steelseries to be able to develop something that works on Apple processors. So I'm going to reconsider buying from this company the next time I need a new set of headphones.
I'm sure some of you are going to pipe up with some kind of work around like a keyboard switcher... Come on. I'm sure I could work around this. But you know what else will work? The company providing working software. Because when I bought these headphones they definitely had Mac support.

I have an Arctis Nova Pro that I bought years ago.
It has an annoying issue. When I am connected over Bluetooth to my phone (Android 17) and I watch a video on YouTube / Instagram / Facebook I will get about 2 seconds of audio and then the audio will stop playing but the video will keep playing. So I have to stop and start the video to get the audio back.
Happens whether I'm connected to the base station with 2.4G or not.
So I thought this was an Android issue, but then I just connected my Soundpeats earbuds to my phone and did the same thing and the audio does not stop playing.
Does anyone else encounter this? I have talked to support about this in the past and got nowhere with them. They say it doesn't happen.

I like my Arctis 7+, but I didn't want GG running all the time just so the game/chat dial works. So I made MixDial, a small tray app that reads the dial straight from the dongle.
Full disclosure: it's vibe coded. I built it with an AI coding assistant rather than writing it by hand. I've been using it daily on my own headset, and the whole thing is a single C# file, so anyone can read exactly what it does.
What it does
Works with: Arctis 7+, 7P+, 7X+ and 7+ Destiny on Windows 10/11.
How: without GG's virtual audio driver, Windows sees the headset as one output device, so MixDial sets per-app volume instead (same as the Windows Volume Mixer). No driver, no installer, no telemetry. It only reads from the headset and never touches its settings or firmware.
Close GG first if it's running, or the two will fight over app volumes.
Download / source (MIT): https://github.com/dialworks/MixDial
The exe isn't code-signed, so SmartScreen will warn the first time (More info → Run anyway). If you'd rather not run an unsigned exe, you can read the source and build it yourself with the compiler that already comes with Windows.
Unofficial and not affiliated with SteelSeries. Feedback and bug reports welcome, especially from 7P+/7X+ owners, since I've only tested it on my own headset.

I was using my headset at home on my PC just fine, it has plenty power left. I then took it with me as I left home, and now it beeps about every 5-10 seconds twice. Yet my phone reports 34% but looking it seems to happen at 30% so maybe it's lacking behind. Either way, it's incredibly disappointing that the second I leave home the headset is basically useless despite having 1/3 of the battery capacity fully charged. Is there any way I can stop this beeping? It doesn't make sense that it doesn't beep when I'm at home but does when I'm not, seems almost malicious

Has anyone had this happen with their Arctis Nova 7X?
I’ve had mine since Christmas 2024 and the microphone suddenly stopped picking up my voice. Right before it stopped working, I was hearing some static/crackling from the mic.
The weird part is that the headset audio still works perfectly on everything. I’ve tested it on Xbox, my laptop, and my phone through Bluetooth. I can hear audio normally on all three, but the mic won’t pick up my voice on any of them.
A few other things I’ve noticed/tried:
The physical mute button still works and the red mute light turns on/off normally.
When I mute/unmute, I sometimes hear static and Discord actually detects it as mic activity. My name will briefly pop up on the Discord overlay like I’m talking, but it still won’t detect my actual voice.
Xbox recognizes the headset and game/Discord audio works.
Mic also doesn’t work on my laptop.
Mic doesn’t work through Bluetooth/Discord on my phone either.
I did the hardware reset using the reset button under the ear cushion and it didn’t fix it.
SteelSeries support has now asked me to completely reinstall GG and the device drivers, which I’m going to try.
Since the mic fails across Xbox, PC, and Bluetooth but the headset still outputs audio perfectly, I’m wondering if the actual mic/mic circuitry has failed rather than this being a software issue.
Has anyone had the same issue, especially the static/crackling right before the mic stopped working? Were you able to fix it, or did the headset end up needing replaced?

Hey, I just got wireless headsets for the first time, I’ve always had wired steel series headsets. So this is my first wireless headset and it’s PC only. So at first my audio is clear and good, then I noticed when it picks up my microphone to talk in any Voice channel application like Xbox app, discord, zoom, and more. The audio turns all muffled, sonar is off, monetization is off, I’ve tried every single thing ChatGPT, Google and even read some Reddit forums. I cannot find an option. In my settings I have soooo many audio settings for this headset, but they’re all off. They either work but muffled or some don’t work at all but it picks up audio but I cannot hear anything. I’m starting to think it’s the USB-C plugged into my PC that’s the issue. Because when I unplug it I can still hear muffleness but when I disconnected the Bluetooth from my headset and only left the USB-C, it can pick up audio but I can’t hear anything and then when I can hear, it’s all muffled. I just need help, if this doesn’t work then I’m just returning it and sticking to wired because I’ve spent 2 hours and no solution

Hello, I’ve got a little project going on and would like to remove the ears from the headset entirely. I’m stuck at this point and can’t seem to get the circled parts off.
I’ve tried removing the ear cups and unscrewing the screws to get to the guts but couldn’t find any way to remove these “Arm” pieces from the inside either. Any help would be appreciated.

I love your hardware and have been a loyal customer for the past 10 years. But steelseries moments have been eating my RAM up!
I have a 64 GB RAM and I keep ending the task through task manager to release my RAM space.

Amazon has one marked as "old" packaging for £100 less than the one marked as "new 2026" but the model is the same as is the description, is there any real difference? For example updated audio drivers (in the headset not software drivers), updated range or better battery life, etc.

Basically as the title says. Even when the computer is off, the microphone picks up sounds and plays them directly into the headset output.
Clicking the keyboard, opening doors, dropping the product box on my desk table etc. I get that the microphone is picking up sounds. But why is it sending the sound directly into my ear?
Is there any way to turn this off?

Using it felt great. However after using a while, when using the scroll wheel, sometimes it doesn't register the roll. Only way to fix it is to Factory Reset the mouse. Kind of an annoying bug because it can happen any time, and it happened to me during an Arc Raider match. Anyone facing similar issue?

Wasn't even watching task manager the first time I tried playing wardogs with moments enabled again. Figured I could trust the patch notes that said this was "fixed". An hour into playing the game aaaaaaand it's taking all of my ram. Again.

Every time I start up my PC, Sonar switches from Aux to Game. Then, I need to manually go to my Windows settings to switch from Sonar Game to Sonar Aux, even though Sonar Aux is set as my default device according to Windows. How do I prevent Sonar from constantly switching my output devices?
